Quick find. Another find in this LGA and another find closer to 20 finds. Found with Mogni. The plan this October Long Weekend was to head over to Victoria and host 3 CITO's plus host my first geocaching event, also increase my finds to 20 in at least 5 victorian LGA's. Given that we were caching in the country alot of km's were travelled. The weather was raining on and off all saturday including the night time but by luck all 3 events that day were dry. The first CITO ( and the cache of the trip ) was in Kaniva at the wetlands, the next in CITO was in Dimboola at one of the rest areas, and placing a future challenage cache then slowly making our way to wycheproof canavan park which was our accomadation for the weekend and then up to Mount Wycheproof ( the smallest registered mountain in Australia - at 43metres tall ) for my coffee and sunset event. Sunday started off with a early 630 am CITO in the Mount Wycheproof wetlands reserve ( sorry i did forget about daylight savings when i made the time for the event but it was a dawn and light still ). Now off to swan hill ( which is my least favorite LGA to cache in ) and then a few more LGA's and back to the tent in the dark well past dinner. Then it was slowly heading home via the silo arts works along the way and walpuep and then over the border to pinaroo and home. We went through over a milk crate of spare containers and got 2 and 1/4 garage bags of cans and bottles. Any caches that were found broken/cracked/etc were replaced and any full log books were replaced.
Sir_Spectre and I went for a long weekend over to Victoria, we hosted some events and CITO's and was really impressed by all the people that made the effort to join us. Any caches that needed attention got it, with many log books being replaced or extras sheets added as needed. Thanks to all who placed and maintained caches for us to find
3 hours from home and my first cache on a road trip to pick up 5 VIC LGAs over 2 days. TFTC
Making our way from Mildura to Swan Hill today and finding a few caches along the way - even a bit of the new geo art at Euston. Thanks to all the COs who hid the caches for us to find as we make our way along the roads.
Out and about caching today while travelling from Mildura to Swan Hill. Arrived at GZ and in short time found cache. Signed log. TFTC
Outnabout for some solo caching while travelling from The Great Leap Forward Mega event in Adelaide to the Capital GeoBash Mega in Canberra. Grabbed a couple of caches in the area on the way through increasing my LGA tally. Its always a great day for caching. TFTC Kaneira
I had a few days leave so Mrs JTreeTrack2 and I decided to pack up the car and head off to where it is slightly warmer (than Ballarat). So North to the Murray River, Swan Hill and Mildura then home through the Wimmera. What is a trip without some caching, so some caching we did, not heaps but enough to leave some more smiley faces dotted on some new parts of the Map.
Nice spot with plenty of parking. Very happy for the clue and my understanding of word meanings. The log was signed and put back in place.
The Cache is nice and healthy.
Thanks for the Cache Kaneira

We headed to Canberra for a few days, then Goulburn and Yass on the way home.
Nice weather today, so out grabbing some caches.
Unless otherwise stated - all good here. Signed and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Kaneira, for us and others to find.

Suscoe was heading north today in the terrific company of Phetlern, Papi, Geoturtle and The Drovers.
It was a delightful day, plenty of sunshine and lots of fun.
We were logging our finds today at the "B Team"
Thanks to Kaneira for this hide.

Found on our way home from Mildura. Took a little bit of finding and then a lot of scraping of mud from our shoes from around gz. Thanks for the cache Kaneira.
The long weekend is upon us and after organising to pick something up from Strathmerton Saturday morning, I checked the map before hand and here is a place that I have not visited before which was Moulamein.
I guy I work with stayed here in January and recommend that it was worth a visit.
So after detouring via Conargo to see if the pub has finished being rebuilt (not open yet) I arrived at my destination.
After touring around Moulameinand spending a great night in my cabin at the pub that overlooked the Edwards River it was on to my next destination Lake Boga then Kerang as it was the only accomodation that I could find.
I was taking the less travelled roads which usually meant dirt roads but that was fine by me and then the bitumen.
After spending the night in the pub it was time to head towards home, went for a walk around the the Loddon River and Levee bank then now to head south again.
Now as I heading South I have just crossed over into the Loddon Shire so I have reached their Northern limits.
I am slowly ticking off some LGA’s as I travel and another one ticked off the list.
Thanks Kaneira TFTC.

No coverage here but managed to find it. Perfect spot for puppy to have a drink and run before back in the car again
Quick find with the geofamily as we made our way home from a holiday. Many thanks for the cache
Decided to take a day out caching after a long stint of no caching, not only because of the Covid restrictions, but my mother had a bad fall and our elderly dog required constant supervision.
A quick find but a challenge to retrieve.

As we headed from Swan Hill to Bendigo today, we stopped along the way to look for some caches. This was one of them.
Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find of the cache in a good hide. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Kaneira for the cache.

Headed south today,

I had noticed the pyramid through the heat haze out to the east
A geocache took me to the apex a few years ago
Here there wasn't much to climb [:o]
But there was a cache to find [^]

Deniliquin to Boort.
From here we stopped for caches along the road where it was suitable to stop with the caravan on.
After setting up camp at the showgrounds we did a tour of the country side hunting down caches.
Thankyou for placing this cache Kaneira

You have done well hiding this one. Muggle proof for sure. Found as 1 of 34 finds on my way north
Good to be able to park off the main road and after a short walk we were soon signing the log. I liked the cache hiding spot so it is getting a favourite. Thanks Kaneira.
This one had me going for a moment or two before a read of the hint focussed my attention to exactly where Upoj was saying the cache would be [8)] and sure enough, I was finally signing the log at 15:10, exactly 48 hours after Alsume who were on their way up to yesterday's walk. .
TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks Kaneira.

Found at 3:10pm as we headed north to Koondrook for AWG bushwalk 210. My wife - the farmer's daughter - picked up on the clue quicker than I did and had it in hand quickly after that.

FOund with becca85 & boo09 (plus a heap of muggle family) on our way home from Swan Hill. TFTC
Found during a family trip (with neisha07 & becca85) to Swan Hill for a wedding. TTFC
Our last day of a long weekend in Swan Hill for a family wedding.
I was driving 8 people home including my heavily pregnant sister so the caching was going to have to be thoroughly limited. Luckily it was muggle nieces 9th birthday and she loves caching so I unashamedly used her enthusiasm and birthday power to talk everyone in to a few finds for the day at least. This nice quick drive by on our way home was perfect. TFTC

While lived in Bendigo for many years, we were very familiar with the road to Swan Hill. It was the number of stops to stretch our legs and look for a cache that was surprising today.
No time to stay, but we did drop off a FP for this clever little number.
Thanks 'Kaneira' for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

On our way back from the river we swung in here to find a few caches. This one was quite exposed so after logging it we hid it back where it should've been. Tftc
After having an awesome holiday up the river it was time to head home and, as customary, find a few caches along the way. We parked and walked back down the road and then up to this one. Upon approach to Gz we spotted this one easily. Once we had added our names to the log we returned it to where it should've been. Tftc
After finding the school cache up the road it was a quick find with this one. Cigc. Tftc
We were having to deliver some equipment to one of our staff in Swan Hill, we thought that we would leave a little bit early and do some caching along the way.
We are going to have to visit this area a bit more often as this series has been out since 2014 and this is only our 4th find of them and even that was a struggle. It appears that the cache was not returned as designed and it took us quite awhile to retrieve it so we could add our name to the log but we did manage in the end.
We have crossed across the Loddon a couple of times on this trip and have to say that it is the most water we have seen in it for many years.
Thanks Kaniera for the cache

On way back from Swan Hill, and had to stop nearby, to make a coffee and break the boredom of driving long distances, also there was an unfound cache here, two birds with one stop, Thanks Kaneira, it took me a while before the clue hit me, then took near as long to extract the logbook,
Found by Mary & David at 1300. Really enjoyed the country views and the peace and quiet. Will be so hard to settle back in the 'burrbs after more than 5 weeks away in SA and NT. Our thanks to Kaneira.
Looking at heading up this way only to be told "we've found those, they are probably more that you haven't logged". As it turns out, that is exactly what has happened. I was caching with Papi4506 who has thankfully mentioned me in his log so I know I was present at this find and on this day. Thank you for the cache and huge apologies for not doing it earlier.
Not many places to hide a cache here which was just as well as it was a clever little spot and I am sure would have taken longer otherwise. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

Off on a weekend road trip to Swan Hill, going the long way on my 1400km adventure to pick up a few new LGA's along the way as well as a few caches of interest.
The time has come to head for home but there were still caches to find along the way.
Another stop on the side of the road as I was passing by.
I did use the hint on this one and once I did the cache was then found.
**Thanks to Kaneira for placing this cache.**

On my way to the '6 Months to the event in Alexandra - Swan Hill' event! After bypassing Bendigo, I detoured through Terrick Terrick, then onto Pyramid Hill for the earthcache. Snap Happy chased an old Steam Train and I chased Snap Happy. We ended up miiiles away from caches and had to head back to the main road... Thanks for the cache, Kaneira.

We were on the home stretch of an epic road trip with nanton34 and Loddon was an LGA I had not conquered - until now. Little did I know the following day we found it hard getting out of Loddon, but at this time I was happy to have secured this region. tftc
we had planned for this to be our last find for the day, with the sun setting and still about an hour of driving to go we made a quick find of this cache before heading on our way. An good hide TFTC

GT02 and I were on a caching road trip for our LGA challenge. This cache was a last minute pickup as we heading home. Took a couple of minutes to decipher the clue then made a quick find. Thanks Kaneira for the cache.
Whilst on a road trip to Nyah decided to show my Brother what geocaching is about and soon had him searching around for the cache. it certainly broke up the monotony of the drive.

Looked in a couple of wrong places first. Thanks for the trip around Loddon, we move on now.
"I'm going to catch up with the girls on Tuesday, do you have any plan?"
Really, did my wife really just ask me that? Do I have any plans?
Hell yeah, I'm outta there with a GPS on one hand and a bottle of water in the other.....then back again really quickly to get the car keys.....need another hand.
Not a big day numbers wise, just 28 caches (going for those a little off track), but 667km in total driving meant the day was long.
A nearby parked car and truck were not an issue as the vegetation screened me well. Whew. Anyhow, I soon had the cache in hand and the log signed.
