Sooo after finding the cache close to this one the job was definitely on! After negotiating a barb wire fence and many potential other creepy crawlers or slitherers, i found the container in its hiding spot. It is getting a bit worse for wear but all good to sign and await the next in search of treasure. TFTC
Found at 12:41 PM GAFF1.We left the beautiful Cape Keraudren heading for Quondong and stopped to do this interesting cache not knowing that there was a bit of a walk and that there was a four strand barbed wire fence to negotiate Didn't take long to get to GZ and from a distance could spot the hiding location.Oddly didn't feel anything at GZ - no buzz; no tremble - nothing The walk back to the car was easy as the van stood proud over the bush and was easily spotted. Thanks to MoneyboxFeedback: Cache is a 200 ml Sistema container and is disintegrating and needs to be replaced.
On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine, Edith Falls, Kunnurra, Bungles Bungle, Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now again on the sealed road again. From Derby, Broome on direction to Port Hedland .Uhhh, special coords on an other continent .The fence, the heat and the sticky gras were a challenge, but we did it .TFTC# 17'174
I was heading to Hedland for the next job. A delay meant I had a few days to fill in, so I stopped by here and went for a wander on this lovely cool morning. Ive driven by many times but as Im not a fan of the heat up here in summer, today was perfect. TFTC
Exploring the area during our stay at Pardoo. Couldnt resist this special one. It was worth the itchy spinifex legs to get it. Tftc
Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.Having found the nearby cache we headed across to this confluence. Ive found a few confluences over my caching career. Thanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
Stopped for an LGA find on the close by oldie, the confluence cache here was worth the extra walk. Once through the fence it was an easy enough, not too scratchy walk. No trouble really. About 30 metres out I noticed the footprints in the red sand, led me right there! Poor cache has suffered from the sun, all in good order inside still but could benefit from a replacement sometime in the future.
Interesting information. Well, I was to one of the over 10000. The biggest hurdle was the barbed wire. There was enough space to step between the Spinifex. TFTC
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western WA via Kalgoorlie, Wiluna and Marble Bar. After camping out at Shay Gap we headed to the coast and up to our northern-most target cache before returning south towards Port Hedland, finding caches along the way. Very rewarding to find another confluence cache. Thanks for the cache Moneybox!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. We camped at Shay Gap then continued to make our way north, finding a few caches of interest along the way.We walked across from the highway and soon found the cache at the memorable coordinates. Nice to tick off on another confluence cache. Thanks Moneybox for the cache.
I love visiting these confluence caches... and this particular one was one of the more accessable ones we've grabbed. Must invest in gators though... not that we weren't warned about the spinefix. Arrived at all the zeros and made a quick find. The wildflowers are stunning out here. FP added. Tftc
Travelling north to Darwin with richlink and then back south again to SA, finding geocaches along our route.
Tiptoe through the spinifex to find this cache. Thanks, sungroper2, cache in good condition.

On my way to Perth via Broome with a few detours for LGAs. TFTC.
Great to get this one. Hope I survive the flies. Must not be still.
I added a new log sheet.

Day 22 of the long road trip from Perth to the Townsville Mega via the southern states and then back to Perth again via the northern part of Australia.
Today was basically from just south of Derby then across to Broome before ending up at South Hedland.
This cache found without problems although not sure about crossing the fence to get to it. Log signed and the cache returned as it was found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for cachers to find.

Another trip back home and another caching adventure, happy to say we came up trumps here and walked away with a smiley TFTC
I got scratched to bits by spinifex grass but cannot say that I was not warned. Moneybox & Chan 5456
Had an RDO today, so decided to hire a car and venture north from Hedland to see what I could find.
We have found a few confluences over the years and actually own two confluence caches ourselves .. one in QLD and one in WA. It’s a pretty special feeling to see all those zeros on your GPS, one i wont ever get sick of
The cache was a quick find once i negotiated the fence and made the walk to GZ. I added my name to the logbook and returned to the car for the rest of my epic day trip.

On an Adventure North. We have hitched the caravan are are intending to find some sunshine and warm weather.
Travelling along Hwy 94 and Hwy 1, our destination is Broome, via Karijini NP, then the trip home is along the coast sampling the towns we have yet to visit.
Of course along the way we will be getting a cache of two ......... and lots more.
Nice to clear a confulence, I am sure this may play to a challenge in the future

Thanks Moneybox for bringing me to this location and taking the time to hide and maintain this cache. I found the cache at 09:41:00. This was my Find 19 for today out of a Total number of 50 Finds and 4 DNF for for this Caching Outing. The cache was found in Good Condition and I signed the log and returned the cache as I found it.
This find brings my total number of Finds to 5373.
We are spending a few weeks travelling to some of Western Australia's warmer regions and grabbing a couple of the LGAs that I need.
This was one of my must get caches this trip and I can saw that it is still there although it looks like the termites have started to build a nest underneath..
The stickoflage gave this one away.
This was find number 3 for the day.

Nice repair job by Morgo the geo! Just love this part of the world, even spinifex prickles TFTC
HELP!! Can the next person PLEASE TAKE A NEW CONTAINER AND LOGBOOK so we can keep it going? Looks like the sun has destroyed the original container. I have tried to contact the person maintaining this confluence container but seems he is no longer caching. MANY THANKS.
All fixed up!! I replaced the sistema and then put the old sistema base over the top of it. The log was in good condition. It should be good for at least a couple of years.
After finding a cache that belongs to WA’s 100 oldest caches, I did a commando roll under the barb wire fence and wandered into the spinifex dodging the odd golden orb spider. The confluence was amazing with all the trees cleared near in. A coincidence?

A HUGE thanks to Morgo the geo for replacing this cache and helping it to live on. The surroundings are exactly as we found them when we placed the cache more than 6 years ago. Not that much water up here so things survive and that’s about it. Gotta love a good con, lol.
We had previously found another Moneybox confluence on the Nullabour so happy to add this one to our list. Unfortunately the lid has disintegrated and the container was full of sand. Logbook was dry. We did not have a suitable replacement container on us, so unable to replace it. Maybe the next cacher can bring in a replacement? The hint to waypoint the car was a very good suggestion. Although we thought the van might be easy to spot for our return, and we’re usually pretty good with direction, we did waypoint the car anyway. After cleaning out cache box and signing log before placing back, we headed off thinking we were going in the right direction before realising we weren’t heading directly back to the car. Blame the overcast day. Thanks Moneybox for placing this cache.
We had to bypass this cache last year because hubby was not suitably attired for the vegetation. No problem today and container was found spot on. The container has serious UV deterioration so needs either CO maintenance or NEXT FINDER replacing the sistema. A favourite point because it is a confluence - we've found a few over our caching years. Thanks Moneybox
Quick find with very precise coordinates. The can is crumbling, we didn't had a new one with us.

Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Port Hedland to Broome.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'Moneybox - maintained by Chan 5456 - with thanx.' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'A Con in the Pilbara' and the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

This year i spend my holidays together with my family in Australia. We explore your beautiful country by car (Cairns to Perth) and we had a wonderful time. And because of your geocache we saw an impressive landscape, enjoy a short walk or just had a short rest. So many thanks to you for showing me your country. We love it

Well we were conned! It’s only a short distance off the road, so why not?
Off we set in the ‘heavy-duty' thongs and began to work our way through the scrub. Then it was under a barb wire fence! To tightly strained to go over!
Back on our way through the scrub, dodging scratchy plants and the ever present spinifex.
The GPSr took us straight to GZ and the cache where we signed the half eaten log!
Much satisfied it was then back through the scrub to the car and back on our way.
No worse for wear, and another smiley under our belt

Walked in and minded the cache while Mr Two+Four walked back for a replacement cache container and log book, please to get this photo of the "nearly eaten" original logbook. I also left my own path tag, showing that I am really "Out 'n About".
Great to be able to re-visit this great cache, thanks Moneybox

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 20. After Broome I continued South via Port Hedland to a riverside roadside stop at Yule River. Lots of Driving today.
I always love a confluence, even if they take you over boundaries normally respected. Lots of spinafex and a sad looking cache. (thanks for the next visitors replacing)

Day 31 on my trip from Perth to the Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs with m4yb and Max the GeoUte pulling Jonathan Swift the Jaycp camper trailer.
What an adventure it has been and great to get some caches along the route.
Now on our homeward journey via some great places and hopefully some great caches and this one didn't disappoint. Good words of warning in the description so definitely take a way point if the car or as I did navigate back to the close by cache. Unless it gets archived!

On the return leg from the Alice Springs Red Centre Experience, and today megawat60 and I are on a mission!
We left our overnight camp at Eighty Mile Beach, dressed unseasonably in long pants and shoes. Parked Max the GeoUte and Jonathan the camper, and ventured into the spinifex.
The going wasn't too hard, the breeze kept flies away and my stick came in handy to de-cobweb as I went.
Finally megawat60 was the lucky one to spot the cache, much celebration at these notable coordinates!
We signed the log, noticing that Everlasting had been just earlier today, and I left a pathtag for the next finder.
Thanks for placing this cache, Moneybox, and a fave from me!

On our long trip to Albany now. Stopping at places where we had been before and hadn't been. Like Port Hedland. Grabbing some smilies along the way... Even if we have 43 degrees at the moment.
Had a con in NSW... Crazy about what you do for a smilie.

Today is day 41 of an adventure that will take me around Australia with a group of trackables as we now head south towards Perth. My caches visited can be tracked by checking out the Key Ring using the code TB4P4C1. The purpose of this note is to visit the trackables travelling with us so that the owners get to learn about this site.
Today takes us to Port Headland and a distance since starting this trip of about 8500 Km's. We left Eighty Mile Beach thinking we would be at PH by lunch. Not to be and we stopped caching at the Marblr Bar turn leaving plenty for a return visit. We had 9 found and 2 DNF's. We walked in and had an easy find which I am going to post a photo of on my local area facebook caching page. It's not often you get to see coordinates at a cache like these. Added a favorite.
As a part of my contribution to helping make the "Easter 2017 Red Centre Experience" GC6825Z a great Event, I will be leaving a card in every cache that is large enough to take it. This card provides a number for a trackable so you can "Discover me". There is also the Web page address "red.ozmega.com.au".
Happy caching.

Walking over to this cache, getting under a barb wire fence without getting hitched up and also getting scratches on my legs, I thought I want 2 smiley faces little did I know that I would by the time I got back to the car. Quick find on reaching GZ, signed and replaced. Thanks to Moneybox.

On the eighth - and, sadly, final - stage of our amazing road trip from Perth up to Broome blumen-wiese and I started from Port Hedland on what we thought would be nothing but a rather dull transit stage, but what actually brought us more memorable moments than we had expected.
Like, for example, a cache that is located not only at a confluence, but at such beautiful co-ordinates at that! With all the spinifex it was not so easy to get there, but once we arrived at the location the cache was quickly found. Luckily we recorded our track on the GPS device, otherwise getting back to the car might have been not so easy.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Austria!

I never found a cache on such cool coordinates. After a (long) bushwalk through the outback with heat and flies we reached the cache. Oztriaco and I were really lucky. With the help of our GPS we found the way back to our car. TFTC!

Continued on almost in a straight line from the Sungroper cache. Nice to find another confluence cache as we have a cache located on a confluence near our home town. Cache in good condition.....obviously does not see too many visitors.
Hey I found this one and had a ball doing so, this going as a favorite.
Also co-ord smack on, well done!!
I followed my GPS to find this one and it was not downloaded.
A bit of here and there to zero in but cache in hand after a while.
Hey guy's the cache is in excellent condition, and I suppose I really had to go find it seeing I am the minder of it here in the Pilbara!!!!
