A perfect cache. Some history we would have missed, plenty of space to get off the road, a beautiful old ruin
A quick stop on our way back to Goolwa. Signed log at 4:30pm with 4maal. Would have been a nice building in its day.
Thanks hurtle
Thanks hurtle
We are staying in our motorhome near Strathalbyn and needed to find a few more caches for the Solstice souvenir. So planned a little route from Strath to Ashbourne to give the new Jimny a work out.
All caches were easily found and we enjoyed the hunt.
Cool old building thanks for making us stop here. TFTC Hurtle

Definitely so many questions here, it was great to find a good-sized cache that has been well maintained TYFTC

A lil tweak of the 8.5 yr old co-ords...
Hopefully not pointing over fence now, although the hint does say where to look...
Cheers

Yes....lots of questions on the old building. Looks like a hall of some sort. Thanks for bringing us here.
Stopped to take photo of beautiful church ️ ruins then thought this is a perfect spot for a cache and saw that there was. Quick find at a stunning spot
Full time nomads exploring SA, currently staying in Strathalbyn. Up at 5am for the ANZAC dawn service then off geocaching. On return to the caravan park (footy oval) another ANZAC service was under way before the A grade match.
It was lovely driving through towns and past houses that had put out tributes as we drove around.
LEST WE FORGET, they served to give us our freedom.

In Port Elliott today, cooler day today, out for a few caches around Strathalbyn area . TFTC
Today, the objective was to group assault the new *Tinjella Trail* deck of cards power trail with Brad&Janet, Freddo, and gridge98 via mountain bikes. Well, two of our group were fortunate to have e-bikes. The Tinjella Trail took us just over three hours to complete, and then we re-fuelled ourselves at Meadow Bakery. I continued to geocache around the area targeting some oldie caches, a few prior DNFs, and mountain biking the *Are you kidding me?* series. I soon became tired and the sun was setting, so called it a day. A really nice winter day to be riding around.
So many questions to ask here, yet so few answers. At least I know why someone placed a *Lost Heritage* cache here. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Huurtle/Hurtle for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Nice quick find, which is just as well because a neighbour looked overly curious at discovering Owl in a compromising caching position.
Out and about today doing a caching circuit not all that far from home. Dodged the showers in part, got drenched at other times. Thanks for the cache Huurtle!
Enjoying a sunny afternoon and some caching time with hevwalker.

What a lovely spot. I love these old ruins and wondering what they were used for back in the day. [?] I am building up quite a collection of photos from all around the state of buildings in various states of ruin. [^]
After us all taking photos we stopped for cake and coffee and enjoyed the quiet.
Thanks for the cache Hurtle and for showing us another old building.
