Travelling with richlink on a trip from Perth to Darwin and return down the centre. Today, we are enjoying the sights of greater Darwin. Thanks DBOZ.
I’m visiting family for a week with plenty of time for geocaching. I was on my way to the letterbox cache, so stopped here along the way.
Parked in a shady spot at the pub and made a quick find between muggles. Tftc

Awsome! Popped I'm to grab this cache before playing a cricket game. I've been here dozens of times to play but never checked the app. Haha! T4TC!
Found with The X-Trailers caching towards East Point and hopefully a lively sunset. TFTC
We're enjoying our stay in Darwin and exploring the different locations. This is one of the caches we targeted and found. Put in a new log sheet but a new container is required.
Found on a day that Australia has managed to wrestle control of the 1st Ashes test with 2 Steve Smith centuries.
This cache is also close to the Pint Club that does '1st Sunday Blues', a jam session with funky beats on the 1st Sunday of every month. TFTC

We had a great week of national basketball champs here this week. Had to sneak in a couple caches! TFTC
In town for the Supercars but had some time this afternoon to grab some caches. TFTC
Last cache for the day in the Darwin area, before taking the road south to Katherine. Little movement all around me so I was comfortable in moving in for the hunt. As with a few others like this, I had pulled right up to GZ and gave myself some cover from the car. The container was quickly located and my name added to the log.
Cheers Doodle Bug Oz.

Thanks

Found a very broken cache. No paper and no paper with me to try to add. Probably would have called anyway as really only the base is in one piece. TFTC
First time up in Darwin working on the football game at the nearby TIO stadium so when I got a break I took off for a quick walk to check out the surrounding sporting complexes and any caches that were around.
There was a game going on at the MCG so nobody was paying attention to me while I searched for the cache. Found in the second spot I checked but it is only just being held together and is in need of some attention before it completely falls apart. I added my name to the log and returned as carefully as possible. Thanks for the cache Doodle Bug Oz.

TFTC.
Quick note though. Seems the hiding spot has been run into by a car and the cache squashed. Needs a new cache container. Was cool watching the cowboys beat the eels here

Nice to see matches going on at the time of arrival. The thwack of leather on willow is a reassuring sound. Here for the Australian Masters Athletics. TFTC TNLN
Now visiting Darwin after the Red Centre Experience.
The plan today was to head out for a full day of caching but alas as so often happens we ended up doing jobs this morning and eventually left home, after 10am.
Was a tough day with humidiity and heat, green ants but Mrs Felix was enjoying being out and about after the enforced stay recuperating from surgery. Still we struggled for the cooler part of the day.
Managed to find a few caches and DNF a few more.

Alice trip 2017. Day 18. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent the day caching in and around Darwin. For a southerner it was a hot sticky day. Plenty of caches with lots of DNFs but at least it did not rain.
Thanks.

#7036 - 09:35; Day 20 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. We had now reached Darwin, our most northerly port, after attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs. After a night in a cosy bed in an airconditioned room were were up and out early for a day of caching in and around Darwin. Managed 37 finds, but an eye watering 10 DNFs. Not sure what the obsession with nanos is in this part of the world. Cachers going a bit troppo maybe? All caches located were in good order, including this one. TFTC Doodle Bug Oz
13484. Next find of Day 10 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. In Darwin.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. A quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and it was off to the next cache.
TNLN - TFTC !!

Day 2 of our (fitzy_1965, LuckyL10n, albida33 and myself) stay in Darwin. It was a mixed bag of a day with about 42 finds, but also about 30 DNF or DNA because of the DNF's, but or course you get that somedays.
The ones we found were a mixture of micro's and small and a lot were in interesting places. Caching in the NT is different to the southern states, so a day of 40 odd is a good return....especially with a bit of sightseeing thrown in as well.
Thanks for all the caches owners and the fun in grabbing them.

I was on a decent and hot walk while killing time before my afternoon flight to Dili when I stopped here and made an easy find. It was good to check out the adjacent stadium. I hadn't known where that was. Thanks for the cache.
25/02/2017 3:54:00 AM - This was a bit of sneaky grab for me, so sneaky that I wasn't able to return it without being seen so I drove off down the road to sign it and then I came back when the coast was clear.
Thanks Doodle Bug Oz Cache is good condition and has spot on co-ordinates.

Snuck into TIO stadium to tick another AFL venue off the list. Lots of great sports facilities in here. Thanks.
We had thought we looked at everything close enough but after looking again we had missed the first few times. Children probably won't find this cache due to height. The log needs a new zip seal bag and it is a small log only big enough for a name. TFTC
An easy find in the Marrara sporting complex. Had to wait for muggles to thin out as we took this opportunity after footbal games on a Sunday. Thanks Doodle Bugs Oz
Nice work! Difficult to sign without muggles noticing, but we managed it. TFTC
I love my cricket - glad to find the MCG - easy find on a quiet day. TN LN SL - thank you for placing and maintaining this cache.
Today we explored Darwin and surrounds using geocaching as a guide.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found on a lovely day on Darwin. I really can't get enough of the beautiful weather here after a terrible spring and summer in Denmark
Landlockedsailors and I had made a little route to find a few caches near the airport. We had a great time and I got to see places in Darwin that I hadn't seen before - cool
Cool area to see and nice with all these sorts clubs! Even before getting out of the car, I guessed where it would be and so it was. Cache was doing fine.
Thanks a lot for cache

Found with tassie expat although it took a little bit due to GPS mucking around a bit. Tftc
