Travelling with iluvtrekking from our home state of WA on a SA caching foray. After being in this beautiful State for nigh on three months it is time for us to head back home. Staying in Port Wakefield for two nights to grab caches in outlying areas. Up bright and early this morning to tackle some caches in the surrounds. Had four of us searching with no result. Have left replacement sistema. Delete our log if necessary. Thanks for bringing us to this location.
Travelling with richlink on our Annual Caravan Geocaching road trip, using geocaching as our guide. After 3 months on the geotrail, we're heading west towards home, picking up smilies.TFTC TK2. Thanks for bringing us to this hidden location. A fave point from us.TNCU
Driving the back roads east of Rhynie and Riverton clearing up a few caches.Beautiful scenery in many spots and will be even better after some rain.Spent quite a while searching in this delightful hidden spot but didnt find the cache. Its probably still there.but so many options?? Many thanks for the hide anyway Tk2 and for bringing us here????
Didnt find it! What an interesting spot, hidden away down here. Frustrating DNF, so many potential hiding places. Lifted lots of rocks and stones but after 15 minutes and with the flies and warm day I gave up for today. Im sure its still there. TFTC!
Search for a while and just about to give up. Glance down and there it was looking at me in the open. Stamped and replaced. TFTC
Balaklava weekend, Day 2.
Gregor Road was an adventure getting here! But amazing to see a cemetery out here! Fave from us.

I was wondering where we were going out on the track, arrived and amazed at the very old cemetery, after a few laps around found the cache very well hidden
Today we headed out to leasingham for an event, so off early to explore the back roads on the other side of the hill before making our way there, on the way home we detoured for a walk along the rattler trail.
Thanks for the cache

Headed off from Wool Bay to spend a couple of days camping out in the mallee near Blanchetown. Took a relatively direct route there and a very circuitous route back to find a good number of caches along the way, and to clear up another small area on the map! Thanks for the cache Tk2!
A rare day off for us during grain harvest. So we headed off to find a few caches. A lovely drive through rural areas surveying the crops, kangaroos and vistas.

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of the Puzzled Puzzlers saw only myself and Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rat available for the day. Time to take the circuitous route between the main arterial roads cleaning out all those caches just a little off the beaten track. Of course we also needed to pick up a few that had popped up in the main towns since the last time we had been through.
What a fantastic little hidden piece of history. Yet again another place I would never have visited or known about if not for Geocaching. [^] A little bit of a search and the replacement cache that everyone else is signing was in hand. Not the TK2 style cache I was expecting. FP for the interesting location. [^]
**Thanks Tk2 for this cache. **

TFTC A great hide. The road was very sand but the 4x geo Ute certainly got us here without a problem.
Came here 4 years ago and had a DNF. Today in the over 40 degree temperature it was not the place to be.
I didn’t have my GPS and my phone had no reception so I best guessed it. I had a distant memory about the hint and it turned out to be enough for me to find Astro’s angel drop cache.
As it was so hot I decided to sign that cache and get back to the air con in the car.

OK OK, H423l I thought the lizard was a snake but it could have been a snake. It was a big thick lizard and it poked it's head out when I thought I saw something shiny like a cache.
And what a place. Awesome to spend some time reading the history on the sandstone and granites. Respect. [^]
Thanks to Tk2 and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

A great location that would not have been discovered had there not been a cache located here. Enjoyed a walk around this hidden patch of history before locating the cache. I really must stop laughing at Astro. Although the lizard was tiny it could have been a snake. TFTC
Today we tackled the 2 OTD series and many other caches in the area with Roostaman. Enjoying the views and the changing country side, especially the vibrant colours of the crops that just went on and on, especially with the green backdrop of other paddocks. This was a highlight of this area making it a picturesque landscape. Most were easy finds at GZ, some a bit of a search, but a great day out.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this series for our enjoyment.

**# 17943** Found on the SA outback leg of our 2017 escape trip.
A fine Spring day for the 2 OTD series and nearby caches with Tassie Trekkers.
Not many muggles around today, and mostly good quick finds.
Lots of bright healthy crops and scenic views along the way too.
Thanks for the cache Tk2,

Decided to have a nice day out with DarknStormy, what a shame to see the remains of this church in such a condition. TFTC TNLN.
Out and about with my Uncle "Scrappy Trucker" , He's been down for a week exploring our beautiful state so I decided to take him for a drive in the back roads to do a few caches here and there
Love caches like this that give you a history lesson, would of never know places like this existed

Firesafe asked yesterday if I wanted to accompany him while he did maintenance on the APM series after the Pinery fire.
Get out of the house, be driving dirt roads, catch up with firesafe and all on day that was expected to be good weather.....of course I said no.......Umm, yes
After replacing many of the series we wandered around the dirt roads and hills of the lower northern rural area enjoying the sunshine
By the time we got back to Harry, parked at Krispy Kreme at Bolivar, about 5pm I had found 10 caches
This took us a little while to find but eventually I did.
No need to climb up the ruins, keep both feet on the ground and you'll make the find too.
Loved the cemetery and the history
It's a shame that bulldozer owners can't keep their dozers to themselves
As we left, we saw a tree across the road but with me pulling branches back and firesafe's clever driving, we got through and continued down the road [^]

Headed out to do some maintenance on the Prime Ministers series and of course went further afield to grab a few more caches. TFTC.

FIrst road in was blocked by a fallen tree. Had to try a different way. A forgotten spot. TFTC
Out with Mattycat and Sebastbat for a days caching, a great drive down a seldom used track, love these hidden bits of history that dot our backyard, found after a short search today TFTC Tk2
Another great day out with Froghoppin and Sebastbat.
This was a pretty awesome drive in and amazing to find the remains tucked away between the hills.

Driving along the road you'd never know this place existed .
An interesting bit of history and a lesson for the generations as well [B)].
The soursobs made the hunting difficult, but we got it in the end . TNLNSL.
Thanks Tk2.

After a message from the CO about previous finders not logging their find we have been requested to downgrade our podium finish to a bronze. Seems an earlier finder has at this time STILL has not logged it !!!
The rats teamed up with an adder for a day of caching.
A word of warning do not go near the wall.
Keep an eye out for snakes.
Enjoyed the history.
A shared bronze tftc

WARNING WARNING WARNING, DANGER. DONT climb over the nearby structure it is very unsafe and can result in severe injury or worse. We had many rocks just fall off when just touching them. As there was only one other log on the geo.com, we feel we can claim a silver podium position with the rats. TFTC but BE CAREFUL !!!!
Well that was an unexpected find, getting STF all the way out here This one didn't show up on the GPSr so I plugged the co-ords in & away I went. The drive out was a bit rough in areas & most definitely wouldn't attempt this in the wet.
The GPSr had me everywhere but mostly kept settling towards the top of the stones. Now I wasn't about to go pulling down the remainder of this ruin, even if they had been bulldozed to the pile of rubble that now lays here. There are so many stones and so many hidey holes and GZ wasn't settling enough. I spent far to long going around in circles, checking out trees and rocks under trees, avoiding the long grass. I had almost decided to chalk this one up as a DNF when I decided that I'll have one final look. I had already glanced at that but wasn't keen on moving things. I have this fear of snakes... it stops me from wanting to investigate a little further! If only I had checked here when I initially glanced at it, I think too the size of it put me off
I'm a week behind in logging but I did manage silver at this one apologies if this has caused confusion for SA Sewer Rats & blackadders [^]

Found it @ 9.56 am FTF, a beautiful spot and peaceful too, maybe I should just stay here a while and forget the rat race , no don't do this one in the wet and probably not in a small car either, tftc
