A quick stop here today the cache was easily found but is wet
Today I made my way from Adelaide to Naracoorte, with only half the day I made a plan to do some of the shorter detours off the main highways to collect the odd cache here and there. With it being so hot I arrived earlier than expected in town and came away with 20 finds for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Today I was on my way back to Adelaide from the south-east cave diving around the Mount Gambier / Millicent area. I did a morning deep dive, and then my dive buddy and I went into town to have an enjoyable lunch, before then driving back and geocaching along the way.
I had noted that this geocache had been archived some time ago, but with no evidence that the cache had been removed by the CO in the logs, as well as a subsequent find by AnyMules, I decided to make a quick stop here to see if I could find it. After five minutes of checking around, I ended up finding this archived cache! The cache container was still fine, but the logbook was slightly damp. Thanks jgc3 for the cache placement.

A short walk along the line and the cache was easily located.

Found at 1:32 PM GAFF3.
Well in the end we just had to look at the hint, because we had the wrong idea of how this cache was hidden - we pulled a lot of iron out looking at what way was it imbedded in it!
So - as soon as we looked at the hint - bang! Cache found thank you very much [^]
Thanks jgc3.
Feedback: A hard decision as to whether to increase the D rating and no hint, or leave it as is with a hint. Well if you want more tourists to find it - this is just the right level of D/T rating - thank you!

TFTC Sas found it after trip from Adelaide. Here's a rusty nail...I've found it !!
After staying the night at Naracoorte we need to get to a bank before going any further and parked the car and camper at one end of town. After we had finished our business we decided to go for a walk and pick up some of the local caches.
This was the first of four. We are quite amazed how many people were using this walking path at this time of the morning but at least the gaps in between were big enough to allow us to search and we were very happy when the cache was located in the third place we looked and the log book now contains our name.
Thanks jgc3 for the cache in an interesting location.

Find #8589
After a great night camping at Cockatoo Lake, I was headed down the road towards the Grampians Via Naracourte and Hamilton.
After breakfast nearby, I headed for this one. Nobody about this morning, so easy to search and a quick find.
Many thanks to jgc3 for the cache. TNLN.

day 4 on the road and staying in the black cockatoo bush camp. The rain had the co ords out by more than a bit but the clue made all the difference.
Made this a park and grab. Started at GZ and wondered a short distance along until cache hide spotted. Appreciate a good container like this that's watertight, thanks for the cache jgc3.

After spending the weekend doing the Border Track, I had an extra day to grab some caches in the area. TFTC.
Owl was able to fluke a find in the first place she looked, despite her companions expecting it to take ages. Sometimes you are just lucky!
Had to reassure geocaching friends that...
'no trains dont go along here anymore'
Sneaky hide!

Stopped in Naracoorte to buy an air compressor going cheaply, while in the area we went hunting a cache, depending which approach was taken we were on the right track haha. We were actually on the wrong side of the drain to start with so had to walk along until we found a crossing point.
The clue definitely helped us on this one too, thanks jgc3 for the cache, all in good condition.

Ohhhh snake skin! Be careful! Will trek back and complete the log soon .....with pen!
In Naracoorte for the day touring caves and sightseeing. I also took the opportunity to do some caching. It took me about 10 minutes to find, mainly due to walkers, runners and cyclists constantly going past and also my GPS pointing me to a different spot. Once I finally saw the marker, it was obvious. TFTC jgc3.
Headed out on a caching adventure to and around Naracoorte today with TT016.
Quick walk down the track for a quick find. TFTC jgc3

Together with Spade52 I traveled for almost 6 weeks through Down Under Australia. We made our trip, using a Spaceship rental car, visiting the 5 most southern states of Australia, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Australia Capital Territory. Spade52 was the navigator and I the driver. We mostly avoided the motorways and mainly used the coastal and local roads that led us through many small nice and rustic villages and sleeping towns. We stayed in motels, backpacker hostels and occasionally a campsite. Luckily the weather was very agreeable during our trip with nice temperatures and very little rain. We especially enjoyed the nature, the rain forest, the wilderness, the (for us) extraordinary indigenous flora and Australia's wildlife. On our trip we visited many geocaches. All CO's thanks for showing us many interesting locations and special spots.
Today we continued our tour along the Great Ocean Road again and drove into South Australia. On the way we visited some interesting sites, great views and found some geocaches. The location of this geocache was easy to find. Very nice hide and location.

Taking the geo kids caching during the school holidays, while towing a 24 foot caravan. We'll take every opportunity to grab a cache. This was another of those sneaky little find but found and SL.

This cache took quite some time to find. We systemmatically searched the rail track and ballast as there were so many possible hiding spots. Eventually we located the cache, a bigger container than expected. The cache and contents were in god condition. Thanks jqc3 for the hide.
OMG - nearly gave up on this one. No rusty nail near current hiding spot. A bit of patience paid off. A chilly late afternoon find
Took a minute or so of looking, and found in an obvious spot.
Thanks for the stop here.

We took the right track and ran over an eclipse tin approaching GZ - thankfully it wasn't the cache. Found at 7am on a little weekend away exploring the caves. SL TFTC
I was on the phone helping another cacher with a cache they were having trouble finding, while doing this hubby had found the cache and signed the log. SL TFTC
Happy Easter Monday We have a full day out caching planned for today. Not sure if we are down the right track but we sure enough found the cache. TFTC
How do you fill in a long weekend[?]
Head to Geelong with Mogni and Brisal5 for an event and a few days caching!
All up, I found 141 caches , attended 1 event and had 6 DNFs
We did a few series and enjoyed them, we met Bushfire and enjoyed learning about his considerable knowledge of Geelong's caches and we met Team Autumn and several other interstate teams while having a blast during the Geelong-Opoly 2015 event! [^]
All in all, a fantastic weekend.
Wandering Naracoorte on foot and this cache was one of those that we found

Heading to Geelong with Locus Cache for an event on Saturday. Just had to stop and do some caches along the way. Stopped in a Naracoorte to get my car serviced....it's a long story. After lunch it was a walk around for some nearby caches and then the traditional check out of Trevs Bargain Emporium. The clue made this a easy find. I'm not that generous jgc3. Thanks for the cache. And yes my caching kit did grow after visiting Trevs.
A short walk from my accommodation and a brief looking around and I soon had this cache in hand. TFTC
My stroll around the towne continued along the creek
With an eye like an eagle,
No cats nor a beagle.
I looked for a train,
And found the cache with no pain
Off I sailed [^]
