I think I was in the right spot for this one. Couldn't locate the cache though. I am pretty sure this is a field puzzle and should be at listed coordinates, but could not locate. I bought water too.

Think this needs urgent checking. Visited with two previous finders on our way home from the Riverland. The cache, not found since last April, appears to be missing. (we found the wire that held it in place .... but nothing else.

When you decide that it's too boring sitting at home and that you need a cache find... who you gonna call[?] Uni Razz Since I knew he was on holidays Big Grin Hence muggle partner, Uni and I set out about 2.30pm to find a few caches and I had warned him that it would be a loooooong day Wink[^] By the time we arrived back here at about 2.45am I had 9 cache finds Smile and 1 DNF Sad
Uni managed to score a few more Cool
We had 2 FTFs after dark and apparently Uni has never before been in a vehicle when it has got bogged Surprised Well, he has now! WinkBig Grin
Harry never lets us down, although on this occasion maybe he did Razz ... all the way down to the right hand side running boards! Surprised Still thanks to the winch, we got ourselves out [^]
Saw many kangaroos and a few beef cows plus a few owls and the odd lizard too Cool

Took us longer to walk into this cache than it did to retrieve it and I do think we were a tad overprepared Red FaceWink
Still a nice hide to find on a warm, dark night Smile

I like this one! Our second find for the morning - a clever system! (My niece and nephews thought that it was 'broken' before I explained that it had to be like this in order to replace it for the next cacher.) TFTC krunchieskrew!

After attending some events and great caching in Mildura yesterday with Hevwalker and Clare007 it was time to head back home to SA. Cool
Having heard that caching in three States on one day qualified us for some challenge caches somewhere or another I decided that this is what we would do. [^]
After a false start we found the correct way to be able to get to the cache. And a friendly dog and i't owner came part of the way with us. Bringing the necessary liquid with us we soon had the cache in hand. Smile
Thanks krunchieskrew for placing the cache. Big Grin
Exercise may make you thirsty - but running water made me want to go behind a tree! Surprised

Collecting a few caches on my way back from Mildura with brisal5 & clare007...
A clever construction...and a game of catchy...not thirsty today so much rain...TFTC

10-Jul-16
Our driver (brisal5) was keen to do this one, as it was a field puzzle (which I like)
hevwalker & I didn't mind going for a walk.
We were soon flanked by a dog & his owner, the dog was happy to bark at us.
Making sure they were out of sight we deployed the necessary ingredients to release the cache.
Unfortunately the noise of running water doesn't usually make you thirsty but requires you to find a bush or the nearest facilities. Thanks for bringing us here krunchieskrew

It makes me thirsty too !! Razz
So with a long stroll across the grasslands to reach GZ ahead of me, I made sure I was well provisioned Smile

GZ was sighted through the shimmering heat haze.
The vultures were circling above ... waiting for me to falter and fall in an exhausted heap.
That was not going to happen ... cos I had a drink with me (and a hat) Big Grin

Cache retrieval, as suspected, did prove a drain on me provisions [:o]
Not to worry, I'll just top it up again from that tap over there Razz
Or maybe that was a mirage ??

Anyhoo !! TFTC Smile

One last laugh before I left ... across the field is a commercial business, and the sign out front seemed rather fitting Big Grin
"Think Water" it said Razz

Parked at the tennis club and tried to access this one down the left hand side of the courts. Couldn't get through that way so had to walk the longer way around. Came over-prepared for this one but I guess that is better than being under! Found quite a few of these but this is the first time we have found one in such an urban setting. Thanks.

It makes me thirsty too. You should always make sure you take plenty of water with you wherever you go - esp when going bush and have a big 4x4 with a bull bar. Razz Nice construction.

Thanks to krunchieskrew and clear skies from TeamAstro.
(ps the log wasa little damp).

Nobody around exercising today apart from some council workers weeding the pitch. Makes for a quick drink and an easy find....

On the way to Gluepot Reserve for the weekend and stopped at a few convenient caches on the way. This was one of them and a nice quick find thanks to the fact that I have seen a few like this before [^]

Found It!
I came prepared with water. How much water? Too much water. 5 litres of the stuff to be exact. But it may not have been a bad thing since it took me a few goes...
First go I filled it up to the top and nothing came up! So I drained it and with a stick confirmed the existence of the cache. Take two and still nothing. A bit more jiggling with the stick and take three produced results. Signed my name and replaced it as I wondered what the cricketers on the oval nearby thought I was doing. They took 3 wickets in the time I was there so they may have been a little too preoccupied to even notice me!

As we were walking toward this one, a police car came towards us and we started preparing our story, but they kept driving and we kept walking. We have found a few like this in the past and love them

Today is day three of our trip away. We set off for Berri to spend 3 days caching the Riverland area, joined by earthlight and Gwen from The X-Trailers. This was a good opportunity to find (or DNF) caches while trialling out our new tent and camping accessories, gearing up for when we head off to the QLD Mega at the end of March. We started out in temperatures of 38ºc before that first evening brought light showers, although not enough to dull the 41ºc temp for day two. Day three was a much nicer day as the day cooled down to a nice 28ºc. We managed 200+ finds on this trip. On day two we found caches in 3 states in 1 day being SA, VIC & NSW, that was quite a highlight. No snakes were spotted, guess it was too hot for them but we had one roo bound slowly across the road in front of us. Next trip back here will be with the boat, there are plenty of river caches to hunt for and naturally all the ones we didn't have time for. Well done on this one, worked out what was needed to be done and we soon had cache in hand. TFTC

Arrived to find the grounds being setup for tennis, so walked around the courts to inspect the apparatus Wink. With a little more weathering, this will blend in perfectly [^].
Used some of our dihydrogen monoxide to reveal the capsule, which we disassembled to sign the scroll Cool.

Thanks for another one Krunchieskrew.

Very neat setup for a cache, thanks krunchie, SL TFTC

I have done a cache, which employed this methodology in Germany, but it was placed at a different level. Nevertheless I was able to locate this clever cache quickly. I love your work and effort! The numerous feathered muggles picking and pecking nearby paid me little attention on this day of weather for ducks. The human muggles were otherwise occupied so I was able to play with the cache to my heart's content. Definitely worth a favourite point from me! Cache #2,067.

We found this cache on our trip to Adelaide with team Seffnjarah. A good time was had by all. Thanks for placing this geocache.

08-Jan-15
Day 15 of team Seffnjarah and team Mickjor's trip to Adelaide and beyond. On the homeward legs now.

A rainy day today but it held off long enough for us to avoid getting wet on our wander over to GZ. No one around the paddocks today so no chance of being spotted during our clandestine activities. No problem making the find and with some experience with this type of puzzle had brought the necessary solving equipment with me. Was a bit worried that I had brought enough of the solution but it was adeqaute to do the job. Hey presto and we could sign our names in the log. TFTC.
