Very busy on this road but parking spot was easy to pull over to. Didnt find it today, will have to come back.
After having a particularly big baiting line to walk in the Waitakere ranges we only needed to do one thing before heading home for a beer. We needed a cache for leap year souvenir day, we needed a park and grab , because we had no energy, and we needed something close and easy. This fitted the bill perfectly! Tftc and the souvenir Supernanny.
This was a bit tricky!
Some trees had been chopped down and dumped over gz.
Luckily CO was with me so we cleared a way in!!!!

Super quick find here. Not much traffic around which was great for arriving & leaving. TFTC
Did a little caching after having visited a very nice X-Mas party. This was our fourth find for today. Nice little hide, and found pretty fast, which is nice on such a hot summers day! We definitely were crowned with success today, since we found a 100 % of the caches we had planned for today. Yippie!
Found together with Pyphant and Greenkiwikids and signed as team Piraten. Tftc.

On a way to a work Christmas party we found a safe place to stop on this road (not possible for a few other caches on the way) and had a look for the cache. It took a bit of ruminating on the potential hiding spot, but it was found soon enough and some guardians of the cache were brushed away before signing and returning the log. Thanks!
There's a bunch out this way but not many with safe places to pull over. This one was all good. Was wondering if we had to venture into the bush for this one, but was a nice easy find. Tftc
Targeting mostly park and grabs this afternoon, on my way through Swanson and out back around towards Kumeu. Parked well off the road heading up the hill and walked over to the GZ. Tried a couple of places before I spotted the likely location. Nice hide, cheers
Out and about in rural west Auckland today, enjoying a drive in the country. A splendid day, weather wise, to be hunting down hides. I parked up In the parking bay and made the very short walk to GZ. Tried a couple of spots, but the GPSr soon lead me to likely looking area. A quick check and I had the goods in hand. Only trouble was getting the tightly fitted pill pottle out of the slightly larger out container. Cheers for the cache placement!
Drive past this cache everyday, but today we had time and were on the right side of the road to find this. I found it pretty quickly.
Sorry folks...doing a maintenance run....sure was sogggy!
Have replaced with a pill bottle inside a vitamin bottle...with waterproof paper...Hope it stays drier !
Cheers...thanks for all your visits and kind comments..!

Over the next day or so I have a series of meetings out at Bethells Beach. And I am still trying to maintain a daily geocaching streak... and so as I made my way out to Bethells today I stopped to grab this one. So after parking as close as I could, my GPS was jumping all over the place and so narrowing the spot down proved difficult. However, after re-reading your instructions on the cache page, and after asking myself where I would hide it, I went over my steps again and soon had the cache in hand. Just then it started to rain, and so I took the cache back to the car. Once there I opened the cache and signed the log under shelter... and then put the cache back all ready for the next finder. So thank you supernannny for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is four.
Cheers for the cache.

Bored at home today, so Merlot58 and I headed out for a spot of geocaching away from the chaotic Xmas traffic. Pulled up in the layby and went to search. Looked on the wrong side first but quickly realised the error and located the cache.
My geo senses lead me to the right spot and a quick find. Managed to dodge the on and off Auckland winters weather!!
Visited today and dried interior of container and added fresh paper and plastic bag ....will keep a better eye on it !
#3969. I am up in Auckland for yet another work trip. After a morning of work, I had the chance for a few hours off in the afternoon to get some caching done. The rain fell on and off all afternoon but by picking park and grabs I was able to find about 15 caches. This one I have driven past many times but decided to stop here today. Should have read the description first as would have saved me some time. Soon spied the likely hiding spot and a careful feel of the options revealed the cache. It was surprisingly damp inside and the log was only just signable. Replaced the cache where found. Thanks for hiding it here.
Having read the description I knew what not to search, then started at the wrong end before moving to the other side where I quickly found the cache.
I was up in Auckland for a great 150 year celebration and before I left I persuaded my sister and brother in law to drive the 5 Km further To find these two caches for a 174 degree challenge from down Whanganui way, which I have completed. Yeh. There was water around in the cache but the log was dry. Thanks for this cache and another smiley face.
A small official trip with a muggle colleague. Found this on the way back. Log was damp, replaced with a small paper and a log bag. Thank you supernanny for the placement.
I looked a bit on the structure that I was supposed to ignore before I moved to the right spot. Still, I looked at the wrong end for a few seconds before I realized there was another side to check. TFTC.
Found with the squeeze and adventure inca!! Quick little find on the way to bethells! Found a trackable inside, not the one logged for this cache but will log it and take it on an adventure. Tftc, thegls!!
I liked the looks of this one based on the name alone, but as it was in the general area of my hunting today I was always going to give it a bash and see how I got on. Squeezed into the parking spot with some of the local hoons going hard, but once that was sorted the cache was quickly found in the likely spot. Back to the car and hooned off myself - TFTC
3.50pm after a little search. Not sure we reached in far enough on first try. Wiped condensation from cache box - log fine. Tftc M&P
I was headed west for a bush walk and noticed this cache on my way. Pulled over and parked and then went to look for it. I found the cache in the 2nd place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
After having a break during the hottest part of the day Vistra and I were ready to tackle some finds again, some were published whilst we were on siesta (if we had been in the car we may have even made a go for ftf) but that did help us plot the route we were now going to target. Quick find.

Went whizzing past it and had to turn around some distance further on when it was safe to and come back. Was not quite what we were looking for but managed to find it all the same.
Found it. Swapped out log for a new one in a bag. Thanks for this random location haha
Out further west looking for another cache when I took a wrong turn. Noticed I was close to this so snagged it on a drive by. Pencil lead broken which now reminders me to add a pencil sharpener to my geocache tool kit.

Busy road. Careful with kids. Great hidy hole. Great to know what this place actual is for now
Had some free time to kill today so thought I would add a few smiley faces across some "out in the west" caches. Nice quick find, nice hide TFTC
heading back from bethels after some maintence, filling some gaps and finding a few stragglers..... had a TB burning a hole in the pocket so thought we would find just one more cache to pop him in.. Spying the CO's name we thought this would be completely suitable;-) hope the machine doesnt burst its banks and wash it away lol..
Made the decision to come along a road less travelled, and collect a few caches along the way. This was the first for the day, a handy parking area nearby. Only a few spots of rain at this stage, so although I had the umbrella it was more for show. With the help of the hints, and following the GPS, had an idea as to the hide, and soon had the cache in my hand. 100/100 so far! Thanks for the hide, lots of trucks use this road, a very busy stretch of road.
Nice easy find on the way out to Waimuku.
Really easy if you read all of the description.
TFTC Supernanny hope to see more from you.

Found whilst having a look around the area, just arrived in NZ on holiday. TFTC
Have driven past this one so many times but had forgotten gps, but today had the necessary equipment and cache was soon in hand. Tftc
I was on my way to go for a hike in the Waitaks and made a short detour to look for this on the way. A nice quick find at GZ. TFTC!
Had a bit of a look around and then kept coming back to the obvious place. Looked properly and there it was. Thanks.
Almost missed this one as I couldnt find it at first even though I was looking in the right place. Then there it was tucked away under cover. TFTC
I did some of my own cache maintenance after work, borrowed my sisters doggie to come along for the exercise. Then after that, I thought supernanny's cache is nearby which I wasn't able to do as a FTF but tonight was an excellent occasion to eagerly investigate it on my way home. Well done on your observation Helen! I have passed by this way a thousand times but have never noticed this location - until tonight. Cache was soon in hand, thank you for that!
Out and about collecting a few nice caches in a new area. Most interesting spot to have a wee search and sign
Knew of Swanson then Waitakere Stations but Station 9 was a new one for me, however,
all became clear at the Park and Ride--(Hide) . TFTC.

We were in need of an early night, so didn't go out in response to the alerts last night. When we noticed this cache still unlogged this morning one of us was soon out the door.
Arrived at GZ and found the cache after a brief search (started on the wrong side). Was a little bit surprised, and a lot happy, to find the logbook still blank.
Took the colourful Pathtag. Many thanks.

Dad was taking my sister for a driving lesson and we came to look for supernannys new cache. We found it quickly and we were the second names in the book and taylor didnt crash the car.
Found with Imogen while taking her older sister for a driving lesson, the cacheing was a welcome brake from an interesting drive with a 16yr old who knows all there is to know about driving and couldnt possibly be doing anything wrong.
And then i let it slip that supernanny has a number of new caches that i had already done without Imogen so i had 2 kids not talking to me. Looks like ill be doing supernanny caches again this weekend. Tftc
