Nice to find a different style of cache especially on a 40 degree day. Cache was in good condition
Found at 12:45 PM GAFF1.So are there crocs here or not? It's up from the dam wall so if there are crocs, how do they get here?A bit of a jungle getting in to get to the cache, but thankfully it wasn't too far in and the nice hide was spotted immediately with excellent co-ords.Thanks to memorychip
Every root or log was starting to look like a croc to me! Nevertheless we ventured to find the cache, and no cross! TFTC
We found your cache today 9 August 2024 3:36pm , while enjoying another day in our beautiful countryside. TFTC memorychip
Day 7 of our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road now .On our Road to Kunnurra after Katherine and Edith Falls .Was not sure there will be no crocs on this place . But cool hide .TFTC# 17'126
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Checking out the sights of Kunanurra today. A very peaceful location, wasnt expecting hide like this in here ! Tftc
Quick park and grab here, TFTH.We left a new log scroll here as the previous finders indicated the old log was wet.
Thought we were looking for something else, tftc! Log is a bit damp indeed.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT the over the top of WA.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park and Wyndham.TFTC.I tried this one a while ago but could not spot it. So easy to see this time.Couldn't get it open so back to the car for the biggest tool I could find. It's pretty big, but not big enough.Came back with the entire tool kit plus more. Quick open and sign
Back in Kununurra, only seems right to stop for a cache or a few, too. Love seeing all the Boabs and rock formations in the area. This was quickly located, but took more effort to open. A tool from the car worked well and very carefully opening the oncexwet log soon had it signed. Nice hide, thanks!
Since it's been a while since this one has been found, we decided to give it a miss and come back at a later date.
What a great hide! Sadly I couldnt sign the log as the log paper is unreachable (without tweezers) I have photos, should you need proof of find. Tftc!
Thankyou for placing this cache here. Had no idea of this boat ramp and swimming place
On the road again, we have left Broome behind & now heading slowly towards Kunnunurra.
Stopping at various locations along the way.
This took a while to spot the cache, great hide FP given
Thanks for placing this cache

After our first lunch stop failed, we had lunch here instead. Some kids played on the playground, others went in search of the cache.
Managed to get it out with our pen….took a bit for us newbies but a fun find!!

Today we flew into Kununurra before heading to El Questro tomorrow, so the obvious past time was to go do some caching! We had a great few hours caching around Kunnanurra getting some great caches!
This one took quite a bit to find, but once we saw the likely GZ the cache was soon in hand… Had to get tweezers to get the logbook out.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache memorychip

We’re here overnight before heading to El Questro for a few days. With some free time we headed out into Kununurra to find some caches and explore the town, hoping to spot the enormous crocodile (from a distance!) in the dam that was shown online yesterday!
I missed this one dead…. Samuel spotted it… tweezers needed to get to the log.

The start of my 31st day in Oz. Nice. A quick find here after a fitful sleep close by (lots of cars coming & going) & being asked if I was dog walking. A nice shady start to another long driving day. I'd enjoyed my stay in WA though & should've bought a fridge magnet in town... TNLN-TFTC!

Heading north with richlink on our way to Darwin and beyond enjoying the spectacular scenery and finding a cache or two along our route. We took care of the required maintenance while at the cache. Thanks memorychip no crocks to be seen.
Travelling north to Darwin with iluvtrekking and spending a few days in Kununurra. We took advantage of the unseasonably cooler weather to grab a few finds. This was a challenge due to the voracious mozzies but the co-ords were good making for a quick find. Left a fresh log sheet. Thanks memorychip.
A late log...
A few muggles about 'swimming with crocs' today
Took a bit to locate, fighting mozzies, spiders and prickles...
Didn't have a TOTT handy to sign the logsheet
Sent a picture to the CO as proof of find

It is always a good spot to take a break here
All that water just makes if feel cooler
The only crocs I saw here today were being worn by a tourista [:o]
Whatever is wrong with good olde thongs ??
I did find the cache though

Correct. It is still there. I have cut a path through palm spiky leaves. Too many mozzie too! TFTC!
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australian and down the coast of WA. I was happy to grab a few caches along the way and this was one of them.
A quick find after reading previous logs.
Thanks memorychip for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

We saw a couple recent DNF’s on this cache and had found this cache before so we knew exactly where to look for it to check if it’s still there. It’s definitely still there, but be prepared to go into the growth a little and check out the hint.
Had a good look around but worried about snakes in the underbrush. Maybe we were on the wrong track!
We have been travelling around this great country, calling into see many different places,
now is a quick chance on the computer to catch up with logs and to put some smileys on the map for where we have been.
Thanks to all the COs for some great finds.

Find 14 of 17 with 1 DNF on an action packed day, with a whirlwind tour of Kununurra and then out to Emma Gorge for a fabulous walk/swim/meal and return under the stars.
Very warm after a few walks in the morning so we were happy to jump in here and get some pics of us making use of the tree and rope swing. GZ was hard to pinpoint but we got there. An unusual nut in the circumstances.

Trip over from Broome before heading home on a little business trip. Was great to escape the cold Perth weather and enjoy some warmth.
Thanks to all the CO for placing these to be found. Eventually I will be back this way however nothing planned yet but looking forward to exploring the place a bit more.

We called into here today to go swimming with the crocs.

We are spending a few weeks travelling to some of Western Australia's warmer regions and grabbing a couple of the LGAs that I need.
With a title like this I was a bit wary heading into the bushes around here. But all was good with no large reptiles spotted. I did spot a clever cache though. A favourite from me.
This was find number 4 for the day.

Found after braving the tall grass and spiders. A very clever container. Very difficult to open the container (needed tools), and when we did unfortunately we couldn’t remove the log to write our name. It was wet and soggy and had been pushed hard into the container. Have sent a photo of the cache to the owner to verify that we were here. Definitely needs some maintenance.
Was here earlier today.... got me worried re crocs but thankfully no ️ very tricky to find and some effort was made to eventually find this good sneaky hide!
Not this time. Not of a rushed roadtrip to get over the border /que. Had a swim though (proof I survived)
TFTC nice hide seen more mosquitoes than crocs here Merry Xmas happy holidays ...
Fantastic trip: Broome to Kununurra by campervan. Many thanks for the place to stop and stretch the legs. Managed to locate the cache without encountering any crocs hahaha!
Really clever cache. We ducked in here to freshen up on a hot day.

Very clever hide and deserving of a fav point. Plenty of people enjoying the water here. TFTC
An interesting explore for someone my age. Good thing I'm not worried about spiders etc TFTC
We are in Kununurra practicing our social distancing and waiting out the pandemic. Quietly exploring town bought us to this lovely park. Log is very wet, will come back with a replacement. This is a well planned hide, happy to award a fp for effort. Thank you.
Had a few hours free this morning whilst in Kununurra so decided to knock off a few caches around town. Enjoyed some cool spots that the locals have chosen to share with us.
Quick find of a neat camo. Awarding FP
Had three weeks holiday so decided on a massive road trip to the most northern part of the state - the Kimberley. An area we have never explored, but had always been on the to do list. We travelled through the towns of Mount Magnet, Newman, Port Hedland, Broome, Halls Creek, Kununurra, back to Broome, Karratha, Exmouth, Denham, Geraldton and back home to Perth. It certainly was a very quick trip for the distance covered, over 8,000 kilometres in total, we saw a lot in such a short space of time, but barely scratched the surface of what’s out in these parts.
We would like to thank the individual COs for hiding the caches throughout these parts, from the towns to the highways and byways. Thank you for choosing to share these locations with us and we appreciate the effort you have gone to. Thanks for the fun.

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Warmun Roadhouse to Tumber Creek (NT).
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'memorychip' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Swimming with Crocs' and for the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

From 23.09 until 24.11.2019 Stadibast and I spent our holidays in Australia.
During the first four weeks we drove with a camper van from Darwin to Perth along the West coast and its amazing national parks, in which we made several hiking tours.
After that we flew to the wonderful green Tasmania for a roundtrip lasting two weeks.
For the last three weeks we went back to the continent and followed the South-East-Coast from Melbourne to Sydney.
We had impressive nine weeks in Australia, in which we hiked through various national parks, visited interesting sights and met many friendly and helpful people.
Thanks to all owners for setting and maintaining their caches.
