I didn't receive the archive notice on this so it was still in my database as unfound. We've traveled by here a few times over the years but always in the other direction and unable to stop.
Not today because we're heading north so we made sure we pulled in and grabbed it this time.
Cache was still in place and all good.

We have been driving past this cache for years, either on the wrong side of the road or the roadworks are using the area. Today we are heading north and the area is clear for us to enter. We had seen that this cache had been archived but thought we would stop and look and Lo and behold there is a lovely cache container and log book for us to sign. SL TFTC
Travelling north for a holiday.
Great cache on the side of the road with nice views.

Just catching up on logging and was surprised this was gone. We must have found it just in time. Thanks for the cache.
Added more paper as thankfully had a spare bit from a notebook. Greetings from Scotland. TFTC
A road trip with Stephlego, WillPunkey and Scoob which started near Bathurst then down to the snow near Jenolan caves back to Bathurst for some ice skating and then a drive to Toowoomba Qld with a few caches to break up the trip. The car thermometer read -3 just south of here I could see so many stars here tonight, far more than what i am used to in town
We weren't far from this cache again today so chanced another look for this one and the barrier had been removed so we can convert this sad face to a smilie.
Our last day in Tenterfield so opted to clean up the caches here which also meant a lovely drive through the countryside as we did a big loop out along Mount MacKenzie Road, Gunyah Road and onto Woodside then Pyes Roads which eventually led us back to the highway allowing us another bite at Bolivia! It has been a wonderful day - great weather; a great drive and great caches including our first whereigo by ourselves.
Thanks to all the COs , their maintenance teams and everyone else in the caching community that contribute to this wonderful hobby.
All logs were signed - either as Smittengranny or SG depending on space available.

#8209 - 09:35; Headed north with the geotribe for a few days in the sun and surf at the Gold Coastand after a night in Glen Innes, we were on our way again, destination Broadbeach. It was a beautiful day after a frosty start. Great caching weather as we made our way along some of the lesser used highways. The entry to the lay over was blocked, but as I wasn't travelling too fast, simply reversed in the 'out' lane. Once parked, it was a nice quick find and sign. TFTC Rainforest Cookie
Oh so sad! The entry to the lay by was blocked and we couldn't pull in to look for this little fellow. Masses of road works noted towards the bottom of the hill.
A handy little stop to stretch the legs. Unfortunately, there was no TB in the cache. Took the badge and left an army man. Thank you Rainforest Cookie for the cache.
The hill looks as though it’s made entirely of rocks. Not a lot of traffic today. Filling gaps in the old log book again. There is still heaps of room. Kutgw
Woo Hoo. Day 1 of my holiday to the Mega.
My first cache for the day ... but I am going south ... no traffic about ... a quick U-turn into the parking spot. A quick find and back on the road again. [^]
Thanks for the cache.

Found it after looking at the view, I filled it with trades as well as a pathtag. Thanks for this one, I have passed a few times and this time managed to stop
This has been sitting in my drafts for ages forgotten. Out with geopartner for a rare day of caching. My apologies if this appears in multiple caches but I have been really slack and accumulated a heap of drafts and not done anything about them.
Nice quick find on our way back to Brisbane airport to travel home to Darwin TFTC
Travelling to Tenterfield from Port Macquarie.
We were a bit hesitant to start looking around GZ as there is a no parking sign that looks like it has been recently installed. But after a quick search the cache was found.

Driven past hundreds of times but now having stopped I am glad I did to enjoy the beautiful view of the surrounds. TFTC.
Today is the second day of my exploring and caching down south of home, working towards fulfilling the requirements of a couple of geocache challenges. I stayed at a great spot last night - Bendemeer camping ground. There was no-one else there except for a couple of caravans and a few king parrots.
Heading on today and this cache was an important one for me as it fills a gap in the 'well-travelled cacher challenge' I'm working on in Toowoomba. Well, you weren't joking when you wrote that it needs to be accessed from the South! So on my way down I noted where to pull in, but left it til today. I was ready to stretch my legs by the time I got here, so it was a good spot to have a breather, stretch and of course find and sign the cache before heading off to a campsite in Girraween - hopefully before dark!
Thanks for this cache, Rainforest Cookie.

Parked up in lay-by but there doesn't seem to be any parking allowed here!! so we had to made a quick find before continuing on our way. TFTC Rainforest Cookie

Sunday. Mr SP had been in Sydney house sitting for his daughter for the week. Now on the trip home, after staying overnight in Glen Innes. And on the way, some targeted caches based on my intended route via Tenterfield, Liston and Woodenbong.
Stopped in here and had a quick find indeed, and witnessed a truck struggling up the hill with a convoy of frustrated cars stuck behind it.
This was the 3rd of 15 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***Rainforest Cookie***, for showing us this place.

Easy find. Took chick added rubber. Look down the hill at the old car that has crashed.
An easy find on a cold Frosty morning. Cache is in good condition but the original log is full. There is a replacement log sheet in the cache.
Thanks
Thanks
Was good to stop at this spot and find this cache . Glad I was going down the road and not up, as it would be difficult to pull over. Thanks R C.

New England Roadtrip day 1: Brisbane to Armidale via Warwick, Stanthorpe, Tenterfield and Glen Innes. The ultimate aim of this quick jaunt is to find the last remaining DT required to complete the 3rd loop of our DT grid, the closest of which happens to be 500km away in Armidale !
Thanks **Rainforest Cookie** for bringing us here, this find makes #3761. Discover our trackable TGQNRV.

Continuing on the journey to Darwin via Cairns. Today was from Armidale to Stanthorpe caching along the way. TFTC.
We've driven past this cache many times on the wrong side of the road. Today we're heading north with nothing in tow so pulled in. A nice easy find, all nice and dry. TFTC.
Nice quick drive by, luckily it was really quiet for us so really easy. Thanks!!!
On my way to Brisbane from Canberra to do some work on a house. A quick find, TFTC.
Heading north to QLD and grabbed a few caches along the way to break the trip up and this was one of them
After parking nearby the cache was soon found and once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Found at 1221. Found while on a drive from Tamworth to Tenterfield. A quick P & G. TFTC.
Travelling north (the safe direction according to the CO) to see the family, so decided to stop for a survive/revive and a cache. Relatively quick find once the GPS Gods aligned.
Thanks for the cache and the break.

A quick stop and grab !! 9.05 am., good morning, and view. ThanksRainforest Cookie..
Found by Mary & David at 1520. Splashes of wattle everywhere, which softens the boulder-strewn hills. More wonderful views. Our thanks to Rainforest Cookie.
We had to go to Inverell for work so I decided to make the most of it and grab a few caches along the highway on the way back.
Thank you Rainforest Cookie for placing this cache

Heading south from Toowoomba to fill in some distances for the Well-Travelled Cacher Challenge...this being one of them. I neglected to read the description so only saw the accessibility issue on approach. We still had one further cache to do so continued on and made the find on our journey home. Beautiful granite country with each view different from the last. Thanks Rainforest Cookie.
A quick stop on the way home. Found reasonably quickly. Weather turning cold and cloudy so glad to be in car. TNLN. TFTC
# 1355 - On my way back from a trip to Bathurst I try occasionally to add a few smileys and this was one of them. Travelling in a motorhome you don't get many opportunities to stop along the highway, but this one was fine and the parking facility was mentioned clearly in the description, which helps enormously.
Otherwise it was a quick park and grab in a beautiful area, which suited me fine.

I called in at this truck parking area to stretch my legs on my trip north and decided that I should grab the cache that has been placed here.
The phone reception was a little dodgy but I eventually received a signal to determine the direction I needed to go. When at GZ a short search revealed the cache.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
Find #526.

After failing to find the 2 caches I tried to look for in tenterfield this morning it was a nice change to go pretty much straight to this one while traveling back from a walk to thunderbolts lookout between the storms, tftc
The big caching journey begins, Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast via Ballarat, Tocumwal, Wagga Wagga, Bathurst, Sydney, Tamworth, Tenterfield, Brisbane and finishing in Peregian Springs with many small towns along the way. Travelled from Tamworth NSW to Warwick QLD today.
Man I would not like to build a house on that hill. Quick find.
Thanks for placing this cache Rainforest Cookie

Heading north to get back home after a three-week stint away in NSW and the ACT.
The highway here at Bolivia Hill is still the same as it was when our family traveled it on our frequent trips to Inverell from Brisbane during the fifties and sixties. So it was interesting to pull up here today in what has been a wet day for traveling and almost non-existent geocaching.
Found at 12.50pm on 5th January, 2016. TFTC

Pulled up to find the cache on the way north to Tenterfield. Its always been a family tradition to get a photo of the geo-daughter at bottom of the hill although I'm not sure how much longer my back will take it (see attached pictures).
Note that there is recently installed 'No Parking' sign at GZ but I gather from the rule book that its still OK to stop provided that (1) the driver stays with 3m of the vehicle (possible, although its a bit safer to drive just a little further in) and (2) that you can find the cache within 2 minutes of stopping (shouldn't take any longer). In any case, this is one of the 'textbook' slope instability sites above a NSW highway and I wouldn't be hanging around having a picnic below any of those large granite boulders way up above GZ.
Many thanks Rainforest Cookie
