As the construction site is going to be there for upto 6 months i think it would be better to archive this one and maybe reuse for another cache. Thankyou to all that found this cache and awarded favorite points.

15-Oct-18
Cache shut down until further notice due to construction workers using site. Might even archive this one will see how we go.

What a clever CO to make this great cache! Definitely a fav point from us. We detoured on our was home from Adelaide to stop by and get a few caches in the Gawler area. Thanks for the very creative cache! TB dropped

Geocaching with jesswrigley and gridge98 as we convoyed it to the Murbko kayak event today. A day of rural backroad caches, Murray kayak adventure fun, and wicked gadget caches.

I’m running out favourite points finding and reviewing Jem’s caches, but another cache worthy of a FP. Another cache that Freddo mentioned at lunch today, so called past and lucky gridge98 had the right tool to reveal this cache. Many thanks for the time spent making this cache; it was well worth it, cheers!

12-Aug-18
Very cool cache! Last cache of our big day caching, kayaking and lunching around the area!

07-Aug-18
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us. Wink

Now camped in Tanunda. Today we headed into Gawler to visit Uncle Dan and picked up a few caches whilst in the area. Pretty good day with it reaching 14degrees and next to no rain. Not too windy either.

16 Smile but 2 Sad. We managed to find your cache even though we had to try a few of our special tools. Seems some were feeling drained. All good on the flip side. Fave point from us.

Brilliant Cache, my favourite so far!!!

A quick check on this cache after checking logs that there was a problem but turns out it was probably their tool wasn’t a charged one. Looks someone did try to dislodge from location but all sorted now.

01-Jul-18
Cache may need some love, used correct tool and as intended but yielded no result.

Another awesome **JEM** cache. We have had this on our to-do list for quite some time and today was our day at the right time of day - not so many muggles about. Another fav point. Happy birthday Z. Tftc.

Came to Gawler to find this one, well when I got to gz I had the wrong size so off I went to target and then came back to solve this one. This is an awesome hide and definitely a favourite for me TFTC JEM

13-May-18
I planned to meet up with a couple of local cachers in Gawler this morning, but had to nip by a couple of [?] icons on the way. I was thankful the area was nice and quiet on arrival and I could make my approach to GZ without looking suss... Wink

I knew exactly what to do when I saw the construction and soon had the container in hand. Out with the log, I added my name and returned everything as found.

A shame to see only a 50% favourite point rate on this one. Any container with this amount of effort put into it should attract one per find. C'mon folks... Here's one from me to grow the number. Big Grin

Thanks for a neat cache **JEM**

Heading out to Nurri with Sir_Spectre and getnict caching the day away.
This was 1 of my target caches whilst in gawler. The tool was a little big but with some persuasion the cache was retrieved and signed. Neat concept.

Well after doing Fort Knox, we knew we needed to fit at least one more JEM cache into our non geocaching holiday (after earlier in the year having a geocaching specific holiday to St Arnaud).

This one was selected by the team on the basis of fave points and boy it didn't disappoint!

We did have to resort to the clue... and luckily, while it didn't initially help, I soon realized what it meant and what I needed to do. We had just what was needed back in the geomobile.

Only problem with this cache is we are going further into fave debt! As we said in the last log, we will have to IOU one, and it may take a while as we aren't going to be doing that much caching this trip as the kids have demanded pool and beach time!

Thanks again JEM for raising the bar and making some really fun and memorable experiences for us.

This was yet another awesome cache and we look forward to doing more of yours on another trip over!

ps we have finally paid up that fave we owe you 2/10/17.

Out with Aussie M&M for a fun day of chatting, walking and caching. Cool Even Mr. M joined us for today's activities, so as usual caches with lots of favourite points where on the agenda. Wink
We headed into Gawler for lunch and of course this one popped into the picture. Razz Oh dear the cache was already available as we approached to see what the field puzzle was about. Surprised When we see what was required I returned to the geomobile for the appropriate tool. Log signed Smile we then used the tool to at least replace the cache so the next finder could work the puzzle out!
Thanks **JEM** for yet another great cache idea. Big Grin Another FP form me.

28-Jul-17
A quick find and Aussie Mary had already worked out what we needed for this one. Only problem was the previous finder had not locked it away properly. If you just reverse your actions people it is so much better..... for the cache. We signed the log and reversed the action and all was well and good. This cache reminded the M & M's of some amazing contraptions in Seattle that they saw and did when Mr M travelled there for work regularly. Thanks for bringing some of those clever styles to South Australia **JEM**.

16-Jul-17
A check on this one today after and message from a fellow geocacher reporting that cache not put back in place properly, not hard to do if it comes out one way then just do in reverse to replace.

16-Jul-17
This one had me excited as I approached knowing it was a field puzzle before leaving home. Found after a brief search with no Muggles around Smile The log container wasn't where it was supposed to be. I assumed (It being a Field Puzzle) there was something for me to solve or perform [:o] I sms'd the CO alerting them of this. I SL of it anyway on 16 July 2017 at 14:40. I can imagine it would be a fun cache Wink The contents within the log cache are good and dry [^] TFTC **JEM** Smile

Awesome setup once again.
Another one that deserves a favourite point.

On our way back to Brisbane from Alice Springs and the fantastic Red Centre Experience event, we planned a six-hour stop-over in Adelaide to break the journey and to find some geocaches. Brand & Janet were in Brisbane a while back hosting an event we assisted with, and they had kindly offered to assist us on this occasion. We were taken to a few of the SAGA winners, and we thoroughly enjoyed the, the company we had (thanks Bill) and the time spent once again in Adelaide.

Well, out GPS is a phone, so it did no have the chance to go flat. Fortunately, our host came to the rescue. Nice cache - Fav from us.

Log signed & replaced again. Found at 1.30pm on 20th April 2017. TFTC. **JEM**

JEM you are the master of caches no doubt about it. This is the first we have ever come across. We thought and we pondered...we did think of the obvious in the first place...and then with the aid of YouTube we knew we were right. Hunt through the GeoCar had the right tool in hand!

09-Apr-17
Storm dancer needed a day out having some life enjoyment so I ask her to come out for the day hunting and she had seen this cache as one to try noting that it had been hidden by our favorite puzzle master **JEM** so off we go for the day.

This wasn't too hard to find the GZ but to get whats inside the box was like a kids first Christmas. I figured what I thought was the answer but tools???? Anyway after playing around with it trying to get the nut out of the husk, Storm Dancer had the trick. Soon enough it was cracked.

Thanks J.

Loved the trick to it.

Wow, another fantastic construction. I am so useless at working out what to do with tools in these situations. Relieved to eventually hear things start to happen so I could add my name to the log. A favourite from me. Thanks.

Love it, JEM! Big Grin

We've been keeping a bit of a streak alive, and we were in the area seeing Apty's son for lunch at a nearby cafe (with very nice pizza!). We figured the nearby traditionals had probably drowned, so we tried this one.

Aha! We've seen this before! After a trip back to the car to grab what was required, we soon had the cache in hand.

I had a visit with my son at Cafe Nova, to check him out after he had minor surgery a couple of days ago.
Chelle and I wandered down to see the damage down to the road at Dead Mans Pass and saw this nearby.
Skeptical about it when we read it needed a tool so nearly didn't look. I suggested we have a look and make sure we bring the necessary tool next time we're in Gawler.
On looking we thought we knew what to make it open and I had it in the car so we wandered back and grabbed it.
Woohoo. Another gem from **JEM**! Big Grin

Well we found the cache of course, could not access the log book. This one reminded us a bit of a [nemesis cache](https://coord.info/GC5NX2D) closer to our home. We seem to be the only ones who continually fail to get that one to work as well.

Never mind, we will return one day and have another go.

31-Jul-16
Having been tied up with preparing and selling our home for several weeks we haven't managed to find any caches recently however with settlement nearly a week ago we were delighted to be able to find this one which also gains us a souvenirBig Grin

It wasn't until we had left the scene of the crime and preparing to log a DNF that Geohubby had a 'light bulb' moment abut which tool was actually required, so a quick u-turn, a different tool and this great hide revealed itselfRazz

I doubt there are anymore superlatives that haven't already been used multiple times in the logs for this one.....suffice to say...fantastc effort **JEM**....and of course another favourite point on it's way[^][^][^]

30-Jul-16
After not having the time ir tools last weekend and reading some of the other logs I just had to come back and give this a go with the right tool. Plus there was an added incentive of a souvenir this weekend. Didn't take much convincing to get allister w to come along and find this and hopefully fort knox. An excellent cache. Thanks.

30-Jul-16
Found out on a night cacheing with wikkid76. Great cache which we had the right tool to find. Fav added. TFTC

30-Jul-16
Retrieved it in an unconventional way without damaging it but realised we needed the conventional tool to return it. Luckily the adventure wagon had the required tool Smile
Thanks for another fun puzzle.

Just a quick check on this one while in the are, log book ok amd added some swag also.

On a bit of a time line so didn't have heaps of time to sit and think this one through. Maybe next time I am in town.

Our final cache for the day, having mainly found JEM caches today, with so many favourite points decided to finish the day with this one. Arriving at GZ all was quiet, soon worked out how to retrieve this cache, signed the log and we were off Smile

The last day of the month and the last day of our SA caching adventure with fellow Victorians the Suscoe duo, was probably the coldest and wettest day of our trip. We managed to dodge some very heavy rain squalls and stay more or less upright against the fierce wind. The rain stopped long enough for us all to enjoy this nifty cache. Definitely a favourite for ingenuity and design!

Our thanks to **JEM** for this excellent placement.

Suscoe’s last day in the Barossa Valley in the excellent company of Phetlern.
We headed off bright and early and took the main highway route to Gawler and later on we wandered our way back to Nuriootpa along the Barossa Valley Way.
We picked up caches along the way on both main roads and also in and around Gawler.
Lots of interesting locations for these hides and we enjoyed a range of traditionals, puzzles and multi’s.
Thanks to **JEM** for this cache.
A most enjoyable way to finish our stay here.

A favourite point from us, a terrific cache, a great spot and it all went well.
Keep up the great work.

Find #7293**

Day two of the Nullarbor experience was here. I again joined the convoy of Alansee, Maccamob and Mica Paramedic for another day of fun, heading for Port Augusta, then I would do my own thing for a few days before joining them again in Esperance. Today, we would drive from Murray Bridge, to Port Augusta via Gawler, just over 380km of driving. We would log our finds as MAAM, AMMA, AMAM or some other combination of those 4 letters.

Another cache gathering a reputation of quality along the journey. A good fun gadget cache. I left a favourite point inside the container for the CO to add to their collection.

**Thanks to **JEM** for the cache. TNLN**

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with micaparamedic, Alansee and ahomburg (logged as MAAM), at 1035. One or two muggles about, so we were in stealth mode, and out of sight at GZ. Having done Gawler Fort Knox lst time we were in town, we couldn't go past this one. We lived in a RAAF Married Quarter in Smithfield Plains in the 70s, and Gawler meant shopping. So good to be back driving down that iconic main street, although the traffic is so much busier now. We came prepared, and soon worked out what had to be done. Another wonderful cache and a favourite point. Hanging out for your next one. Our thanks to **JEM**.

06-May-16
Upon reading up about this cache, Miss A had a fair idea about what we would need to do. We had a few false starts and were almost ready to give up - when one last attempt was made which revealed the prize! It was good that we had our GPS with us today. This is a fantastic cache, as were the others we found in this area. We came out here especially to find the Gawler Fort Knox cache, and have been really impressed with the standard of caches around here. This one is on our fav point IOU list - unfortunately we have ran out! TFTC and the fun.

Owl needed a distraction and SA Sewer Rats needed stress relief, so they organised a mutually-beneficial caching afternoon. By this stage Mrs Rat had taken over as tour director and was enthusiastically finding caches for Owl, who was having trouble calibrating her GPS for Gawler. Owl was admiring the handiwork on this cache, but Mrs Rat got over-excited about it and told Owl how to retrieve the logbook. Brilliant work and deserving of the award and another favourite point.

29-Apr-16
Check on this one after work as last geocacher had a little trouble getting it back in place, found to be user error mostly but all good. Thank you for letting me know much appreciate, enjoy the rest of your trip over here.

29-Apr-16
Our prime purpose in coming to Gawler today was to look for two caches that had been recommended to us by numerous SA cachers and which were recognised with awards at the SAGA presentations earlier in the month.

This was the first cache we came to. It took a few minutes of exploration before a retrieval strategy became evident. How ingenious and one to stop and make you think. It took a little while to retrieve the cache container and even longer to place the container back in its hide. This is an outstanding cache and fully deserves a favourite from us. Congratulations **JEM** on a great design and your construction skills.

Awesome! Another quality **JEM** cache! The night before heading to Wallaroo with getnict and the travellinbees, getnict and us came to Gawler for a meal and then to do Fort Knox, the girls loved it as we knew they would, and then made our way to this one. Arriving at gz, we only had the smaller one, so had to use the blade of a knife to take up the slack. A favourite from us! TFTC (apologies for the late log!)

11-Mar-16
Headed out to do Fort Knox with SnappyTomCats and decided to grab this one afterwards as neither of us had done it. What a fun cache to do. We didn't have our GPS with us, so luckily we decided to do this one at night. TFTC

Ismartis and I headed to Gawler today, somewhere I had not done any caching and I was on my way to number 3000 so it was a good opportunity to see some different country and earmark a special cache for my milestone. Wink We set off with a rough plan of the caches we would try and find and ended up having a really good day with 34 finds and 2 DNF's for me. [^] Big Grin

We stopped off at this cache on our way to lunch and what a great experience it was. Cool
I hadn't seen a cache like this before and once we worked out exactly what we needed to do the log revealed itself. Cool [^] Cool

Thanks for another great cache **JEM**Big Grin a favourite for sure. [^] [^]

I was out with JJ52 today on a quest to complete her 3000th cache. With this mission now successfully completed after a visit to Gawler's famous Fort Knox (my 4th visit here Wink) we were now exploring Gawler and picking up as many caches as we could muster.

After trying to get this cache a couple of weeks ago with another cacher and being muggled out I was pleased to find GZ clear today.

This cache turned out to be a real surprise, I loved it!

Definitely a big favourite for me & a highlight of the day! Big Grin TFTC and puzzle **JEM**[^]Big Grin[^]

50th for the day!!!
The day started with meeting up with Semik and Locus Cache, piling into Harry and heading north!
First stop Nuri!! Was great, as always, to catch up with some Smiling Tomcats and talk for hours!!! Next stop was some lunch in Angaston to fuel up for our Girls Day Out Adventure!
From there, it was a fun and bouncy ride in Harry to part of the Five Oh Series before heading somewhere special for our 100th cache! We diverted slightly to take some photos of the dust storm swirling around the Barossa after the recent fires.
Semik took us to Stone Garden for our first major milestone and what a perfectly special place it was! Stunning views and so peaceful. It was awesome to share this with two awesome chicks
