YUM!!!I really loved the food and I dressed up as a smurf with a VERY blue face.I also won a GPS thanks to Alex[^].It was awesome and I played with lots of friends.
I almost didn't make this event, due to going out and helping with the rescue mission. it was a meal worthy of a wait, can they cater next year? thanks to the mckees for another greatdinner

Thanks for the lovely meal
Catching up on some old logs (18/7/16), but I feasted with the best of them that night
A late arrival after helping a fellow geocacher out of a sticky situation. It was a nice meal and fun night.
Thanks for the event.
Thanks for the event.
Was an awesome meal after an eventful day. Cache hides, VIC cache finds and a CoC rescue for good measure. Was a little late but the caterers were very accommodating. Another great event. TFTE
Attended the festivities with Gordon Patrick Samuel, locus cache, AlphaDeltaIndigo, DennisC52, Chrispy89 and half of SA Sewer Rats on our awesome table. We managed to do pretty well in the evenings games, with the ace up our sleeve being locus' muggle partner Marcus, whose knowledge of ancient Greece was very valuable. Excellent meals provided by the local footy club, and a great night. TFTE McKee Clan!
We came, we saw, we ate.
Thoroughly enjoyed feasting on the food and good company at the great event that from a participant point of view, seemed to go off very smoothly and well organised..

Thank you to all those that made this a fantastic night. I thoroughly enjoyed my 'special' dinner that the chefs prepared for me. The games were challenging but fun.
Thanks
Thanks
In Mundulla for the JLWE festivities. What a great night. Enjoyed the games and company. The meal was delicious. Very well organised event. Thanks McKee Clan.
I was a little late arriving after the rescue trip to the Vic border but it made for a good story so it was all worth it! Those quiz things were hard - the first two we didn't even get ten of the items. By the time the 3rd came out, more (the smarter part) of our table had returned from the Vic border and we managed to get almost all of them out! Which resulted in postiegirl wining the bottle of red wine she was after! And I got a box of nerds which somehow ended up in the hands of the little McKees...
Thanks for the event!
Thanks for the event!
Had a lovely meal in the company of friends. Lots of laughs were had.
Thank you to the cooks, you did a great job and served a large crowd easily and in good time. I know that a couple of people with special diets were very appreciative of being looked after and we liked that you could have cream and icecream with dessert.
Thanks to the organisers for a fun night.

Thanks to the organisers for a fun night.
We woke to a beautiful morning in Mundulla did a few caches and go do some hiding too, with Squash99 with a section of the McKee clan to keep Squash99 company. A big day but a enjoyable day with Great company. After the Rescue of Cache_or_Check we arrived late but was worth the wait, the meal was fantastic and the service too. Well done real Country hospitality, I think Geomum enjoyed it more, cause Geomum did not have to wash the dishes. TFTC
Our thanks to the wonderful people who prepared and served such a great meal! [^]
There is nothing to compare to a room filled with geocachers having fun out in the country and when that fun also includes great country food, it's an added bonus

The food and the night was great! Felt like we were at someone's home for a Sunday Roast the food was that good! And the games and fun had was brilliant for our first JLWE Thanks to organisers, the wonderful cooks in the kitchen and everyone for being so friendly to some newbies.
This event was not at the listed coordinates although there is a hall at the listed coordinates.
Great food, great competitions and great company.
Thanks TieDyeSmilies and Delta Ducks.
Thanks to Mckee Clan for a great night.

Thanks to Mckee Clan for a great night.
Labchick and I found out by chance that the feast had been moved and made our way over to the club rooms in a leisurely fashion. Enjoyed the company of Alex, Michells&hound, Moneydork, Tounga and Dazzatron at our table for a night of mad, mythical quizzing. Didn't realise I should have boned up on my knowledge of fantasy creatures and films before the event! Nevertheless our table managed to score a bottle of wine and some nerds for our efforts! Thanks everyone for the great company and thanks to McKee Clan, who obviously put in a lot of work on the games and organisation. Cache #2195.
YUM!!!!
Thankyou sooooooooooo much. It was delicious, timely and looked great too. I can't thank the organisers enough for turning what can so easily be a needless nightmare, for someone with food allergies, into something simple.... just by putting me in touch with the people who were preparing the meal. That is all some with allergies needs...just to able to share it directly and not via a third person. Thanks Marty.[^][^] It works every time and meant that I was able to be part of this instead of a needless hassle.
The kids' meal was by all accounts- very YUM according to my Elf.

Really enjoyed my dinner, the company at table 10 was fab and the quizzes were a lot of fun, even though I had absolutely no clue about any of it! Thank you very much to the organizers it ran like clockwork and the Bowls Club did a very nice job.
It appears this event was no held at the posted co-ordinates. Can Someone please send the location of where it was held.

What a feast we had, the roast lamb and the crumbles were like going back to Mums for a home cooked meal, great food, generous servings and served with a smile.
A really well organised feast, thanks McKee Clan, you've done it again!!
A really well organised feast, thanks McKee Clan, you've done it again!!
I nearly didn't make this event, when one of the cachers was bogged. We went out to get them out and they had gone missing, on the way back we found out they had managed to get out by themselves and when we got back out dinner was waiting. Well worth the wait it was too. Cheers. MODU.
Great food interspersed with loading GPS devices ready for the big day. Did I say I really enjoyed main course... and dessert? Thanks McKee clan and thanks to the caterers for doing such a fantastic job of feeding us all.
We were only about 8 minutes late for the event....
The 5km walk we completed just prior made us very hungry..
Others were more than half an hour late for dinner.
Why you ask?
Here's my story:
The only cache on my radar this weekend was Astro's 'Take the shot'. I had solved the puzzle a while ago and spoke to Astro on Facebook from Amsterdam and he 'ensured' me a 2WD would be fine to get to GZ. So with 3 hours to spare before dinner, the geo-daughter and I set about travelling the 40 or so Km to GZ. We chose a southerly approach and with only 4km to go we 'found' a possible way to the cache. Hmmmm, this track is a bit rougher than I expected, but still I drove on. About 2km further I suddenly noticed a change in surface. Dry, hard sand became wet, sticky clay (little did I know Mundulla had 20mm of rain the day before) and just before I decided to turn around, it happened.....
The car 'hit' a rise and stopped. I couldn't go forward nor backward. For 30 minutes I tried everything. We pushed, I dug around the tyres, I tried things in front of the tyres and dug a bit more. The car would not budge.
Unfortunately we had no mobile reception and the sun was starting to set. There was only one option.
We packed a bag with water and torches and walked back to the main dirt track in search of mobile reception, a driving car or a house, which ever one would come first.
At the junction we briefly got one bar on my Vodafail apparatus and to my surprise I was able to send an SOS. Our joy didn’t last as once again the signal was dead. So we decided to walk north where we had most chance of finding inhabitants.
At this stage it was starting to get quite dark and poor Skye was quite spooked by all the sounds and fluttering birds.
Another kilometre down the road we finally were able to send another message and this time we got a reply. A posse was on its way.
Another 2 kilometres later we arrived at the first house we found (a car was never spotted) and just as we were about to enter the laneway we heard a car.
The Kelly Gang and Leighside Legends had found us. Skye was sooo relieved she was saved.
We quickly hopped in the car and directed them to our stranded vehicle. Two more 4WD cars with Firesafe and Delta Ducks also found their way to the coordinates I had texted and in the end it took 20 seconds to get the car free. A gentle push of 3 strong men was enough to get motion again.
Relieved and embarrassed I hopped in the car and in convoy we drove back to Mundulla only to arrive 8 minutes late for dinner.
In the mean time the ‘official’ rescue team of GDA, Hurtle and Crispy78 had also set course for the Victorian border and as Murphy’s law dictates, just when they got out of reception range we got within range and our messages of ‘all clear’ were not received. At least the three of them were able to travel on and actually signed the cache log. Mine remains a DNF.
I want to thank everybody from the bottom of my (and definitely also Skye’s) heart for all the help everybody offered and it is wonderful that the Geocaching community galvanises when somebody is in trouble. It was a night we won’t forget in a long time.

I was just out of the shower, getting ready to go to the feast, when we got an SOS from a stranded roach!
Threw my not so clean clothes back on an raced out the door to join GDA in a rescue mission of CoC!
Reading CoC's version of what happened actually sums it up quite well, except I must mention GDA wasn't interested in the cache that we were only 1km away from, but I convinced him that we could check the logbook to see if CoC made it that far, since we couldn't find his bogged car anywhere along that track!
Arriving back at the dinner venue and everyone was having a great feast and a great night socialising.
The food was excellent!!!
Great to see so many cachers in same place having a great time.
I believe Sef owes us sone GZ finals now? lol
Thanks again

Mrs Dork (aka Tounga or Mummydork) will attend with me.
She will bring her own food as she suffers from food allergies and self-catering is probably the easiest option. My choices remain unchanged - as provided in my previous will attend log when I thought I was traveling solo.
