Stopped here and had a real quick look but as it was raining I soon lost interest. Going by a few previous logs I may not have been wrong to move on
Day 19 of our Whittlesea Road Trip and today our journey takes us from Rutherglen to Gundagai and stopping for a cache or two along the way. Many thanks to the COs for placingand maintaining their caches for us to look for.

This was the twenty-first find of 27 finds for the day. After finding “Country Corner 5 - Isolated”, Mizmaz and I needed another reason to stretch our legs on the long trip home and we were grateful this cache was placed in an area where we could easily pull over away from the traffic. The hint was very handy in trying to determine what kind of cache to look for, so thankfully, it was a quick find. I don't really listen to podcasts, likely because I just haven't found one I'm really keen on listening to on a regular basis. I have listened to single episodes but that's it.

On the homeward stretch from a week long roadtrip (attending the Wangaratta Mega), made a couple of quick pitstops to stretch the legs and grab a few more caches.
Found. Post it notes have still got space. On our way north to continue a holiday after attending MEGA in Wang. Good spot to stop.
Ghostgums and I embarked on a big day, doing a round trip from Wangaratte to Wagge during the mega event weekend. Now heading back across the border on our return trip, we had four caches on the list, two of them from this rest stop. [^]
Ghostgums took the road a little too high and while he was scouting around, I moved a couple of things and completely missed the container. GG was clearly onto what I did as he descended and picked the cache up from where I had uncovered it. Hmm... Oops.
He added our names to the log and returned the container, then we headed off for the second cache.
Cheers Joey, I hope you continue to love treasure.

Day three of the Wangaratta MEGA event and it has been an awesome time. I have really enjoyed my time here; the caches, the countryside, the events, the people, the history, it is more than I expected, thank you. Today is my last day here but there is still a lot of caching to be done before I leave. Working my way home now and it is going to be a quick trip, with just one stop. I still have a list of fun caches to grab along the way.
This was a quick stop and easy find a nice hide.
Thanks for placing it here and with the log signed and cache replaced as found we were onto the next one.
DAY 3 of the Wangaratta Event Caching Trip. Today it was drive north to Wagga Wagga to collect some labs and a few virtual to add to the total!

Hi, log needs replacing but due to covid restrictions I can’t get there. If anyone has a spare and can replace that would be appreciated.
Finalf29 and I had a wonderful time in Melbourne but now just want to get home. So grabbing a few more of these roadside caches... great idea for a stop, stretch of the legs and a driver swap.
I love listening to the funny but really interesting podcast https://www.nosuchthingasafish.com/
My GPS was a bit bouncy but found using the terrain rating and a good guess from the hint. Thanks

This one was done in haste as the rain buckets down. Cache in good order. Sorry havent got into podcasts yet so nothing to recommend, tftc
Heading Northbound today looking for some Vitamin Sea with the van in tow. Really appreciate a big rest area with a couple of caches to grab as we stretched the legs. Teen Ez & Mrs H were in socks & slides and weren’t sure how wet our feet were going to get, luckily we didn’t need to venture too far off the bitumen.
Only recently started looking at podcasts but you can’t go past comedy. Hamish and Andy, Em Rusciano!
Cache was found no problems after the iPhone decided to stop spinning, people never cease to amaze me with their filthiness. Watch where you walking is all I will say.

**Cache Condition:** Good.

The flies were super excited to see me ... I STINK !!
Especially after camping. A nice quick find. Signed the log sequentially with our caching names or some scrambled form of *TOC, DJJ, LP* or on a vacant spot elsewhere in the log, and then returned cache to its hide'y hole exactly as found.
**The Adventure**
We were heading to the *St Arnauds Mega* but quickly became grounded at *Albury* when the ignition coil and a spark plug packed it in. Absolutely gutted. That was a hard blow to recover from considering a lot of time went into the preparation and I was excited for our journey. Nevertheless, we were able to undertake some caching around *Albury* and picked up some bonza Mystery caches I’d solved and greatly wanted to sign off on. We were going to head to Wagga and grab some caches there, but the cost of mechanics stripped us clean of cash. Homeward bound we went. Some emotional recovery undertaken, and we can now say, despite our unfortunate circumstances, we had a great weekend, and feel all the better for a tented night by the Murray River and a long trip down the freeway.

I never sussed out this podcast thing, so can't provide any tips. Co-ords didn't seem to be helping me, then I had a thought about what the hint might mean and soon recognised the cache container. All good, signed log and replaced as found. TFTC!
Flies here were excited to see a human, they absolutely went for me! Great container for the spot and another great reason to stretch my legs for my drive to Canberra. Cheers!
When we pulled up, a truck was parked right next to this cache. By the time we had walked to the other two nearby caches, he had left. Great. A nicely hidden cache. TFTC

Left in the early hours of the morning as we make our way to Canberra for a couple of days before making our way across to the Oz Geomuster.
This was another great location where we have the opportunity to find more than one cache in the area.

I'm slowly heading up to my 2000th cache, which I want to find on my next overseas trip. We usually travel this route too quickly to stop for caches, but today we allowed extra time.
One rest area with 3 caches. It seemed too good to be true, but it wasn't. There were far too many real ones, none of which looked like the fake ones I had seen before. Eventually I stopped searching, stood still and just looked. Somehow a location seemed obvious and there, neatly hidden, was the one I wanted.
Sorry, but I don't know any podcasts to recommend. However, I do like to listen to good-old rock-and-roll as I drive along.
The cache was in good condition. We signed the log (sometimes we sign micro logs with G&T or GT) and replaced the container as found

Out with JJ52 and Aussie M & M for a huge day 3 of travel to the Mega near Canberra. We are caching as JAM to save taking up space in all the caches we find. Todays leg was Wodonga to the Mega. Another glorious day for travelling and much fun and laughter was had. The ladder was well used and no injuries were had.

A triple-cache pitstop was an excellent incentive to pull over, stretch the legs and get some smileys. With 4 pairs of eyes this one was soon spotted, though there were plenty of options about. The terrain rating definitely kept us in the ballpark. TFTC
A few caches to break up the trip back to Canberra from a lovely short visit to Beechworth with my darling wife.
It's nice to be able to grab a couple of caches at the one rest stop. Not the most scenic rest stop on earth, but it does the job. And has a cache or two. Which I found. So all is good. TFTC

With another day free, I decided on heading out to collect more caches and hopefully receive another souvenir from the current promotion. I decided on doing the loop that goes: Wagga to Kyeamba to Tarcutta and back to Wagga via Borambola. Out a possible 26 finds, I found 24 of them. It was a nice drive along the country roads and I visited many places I wouldn’t have visited otherwise. The trip from Wagga to Kyeamba had a couple of GCA finds and the first half of the W2T/T2W trail created by Roostaman. The next bit of the trip (Kyeamba to Tarcutta) were a lot of park and grabs along the highway. After a nice lunch, at ‘Joes Café’ in Tarcutta, it was time for the final part of the trip was around the back roads of Borambola and finishing with WWBridge#6. This means I only have the final cache in the Wagga bridge series to go. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s for placing and maintaining the caches I found and allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and others. TFTC’s
Today’s Totals:
20 GC Finds
4 GCA Finds
2 DNF

#count Traveling through Australia to see nice people and places. Also to find some geocaches.
During the trip from Alburry to Canberra, there were several stops near the road, on or close to, parking/resting places where we could find a cache and stretch our legs. Cache by cache we cam to the final destinatiion. After check in, we went into the city to see the parliament and to stop at some nice geocache hiding places.
Thanks for the hint, it helped a lot.
