We certainly could also not find it. As we roughly knew what we were looking for it didn't take long to exclude all posibilities with the 4 of us engaged
Thank you daniel.lowe86 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Now we have to cope with Corona Virus ..... and social distancing
Caching at least keeps us sane in a time of social distancing - when it is suitable.
We are still trying to get back to our home state (Queensland) and stopped today to pick up a few remote caches on the highway.
Today we traveled from Emmadale Roadhouse to Walgett and found two caches
Quick stop to look at darling with water. Cache close by, should be a quick grab. Recent park works may have made the cache harder yo find. DNF

Came back today after giving up last night. We are so glad that we did. First type of cache we ve seen loved it very much!
Spent some time in Bourke today with goingplaces2 and this was one of our finds. The log here was very full, so it has been replaced with a new one. TFTC.
Found during a road trip from Adelaide via Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Walgett, Glen Innes, Tenterfield and Lismore and on to Brisbane. Thanks for the cache daniel.lowe86!
TFTC. We are camped at Mays Bend just outside Bourke. We decided to explore the area using geocaching as a guide. Took us to some interesting areas and there were some great hides. A lovely day of caching and exploring. 24 finds and Home #4 and #9 appear to have gone MIA.
Found where expected after reading the description.

Passing through town again and finding a few more caches.
Had to think outside the square to get this one. Took a while.

Hi there daniel.lowe86. Today was a tourist day around Bourke (and a few local caches of course). This cache was a quick find and the container and the log are dry and useable. SL. A FavPt here - just for the enjoyment of the countryside, the drive and the cache. Thanks to daniel.lowe86 for this cache - our find #6677.
A quick find after a short stop for lunch - on route from Darwin to Canberra for Christmas with family ... not much time for caching but this one was close by T4TC:)
Whilst doing a trip around NSW following the Murray and Darling Rivers, visiting the following places, Young, Mulwala, Barham, Wentworth, Mungo National Park, Copi Hollow, Wilcannia, Louth, Brewarrina, Warrumbungles and Tamworth, crossing over the border to visit some adjacent town on the way. No find for this one today. Probably spent to much time looking for the rating.. Will have to try some other time daniel.lowe86.
Attempted to find this at 10:27:00 AM on 10Oct2018

Somehow I had missed adding this to my route today, but noticed it nearby. So glad I did. We've started travelling south again after a fabulous time around the Barcaldine area during the inaugural QOGM. Next year look out Blackall when we do it all over again.
I was out without a chauffeur today and oh how much longer it takes. After lots of research into which caches looked like possible finds I created a path to follow. Still managed 4 DNFs but 15 smilies were added to the map! Thanks to all the COs who have placed and maintained caches. All logs were signed, though some as SG if appropriate.

Made our way back to NSW, after attending QOGM at Barcaldine
Staying in the caravan park for a couple of days so that hubby can watch the V8s & to look for the caches around town
Picked up a TB here & also met Smitten granny at this cache.
It was good to find such a variety of caches & hides along the way.
Thanks for placing this cache daniel.lowe86

Making the long trek home from the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. 850 kilometers down and 1150 to go. TFTC
Our 43rd today in our attempt to find fifty.
Luckily nobody was around, and Muggle Hubby located it quickly, thanks to good coords, and reading back through logs.
In spite of the incorrect terrain rating, it still gets a favourite point for the best cache we found today, very innovative

Over the years, geocaching has taken me on many adventures, including interesting destinations all over my home continent of Australia and many overseas as well. It has also introduced me to a diverse group of like-minded caching tragics, many of whom I now call close friends.
Today, I was lucky enough to be out and about searching for caches, something I do on almost a daily basis. This was one cache that was targeted and found.
Sorry for the late and generic log, something I am notorious for. Thank you daniel.lowe86for adding to the adventure that is geocaching.

Catching up on some very late logs.
After leaving The Drovers in Broken Hill micaparamedic and myself carried on toward Yowah for a catch up with friends, of course grabbing the occasional cache along the way.
This was to be our only cache in Bourke this trip and only because we need an empty out break.
We were happy this very nice little park was empty today allowing us to search and located the cache at our leisure. Once located it was not too long before we were adding our names to log.
As we were heading back to the cars we heard a crack and a branch fell off the tree just missing micaparamedic's car, phew.
Many thanks daniel,lowe86 for the cache and showing us this great park.

I spent the day seeking out the caches around Bourke before making my way north to the Charleville area. Nice little park. Thanks daniel.lowe86 for the cache.
We are now on the way soiuth back to Tasmania and stopped in Bourke for a few days and this was one of the caches we found in the area. Thanks for the tour of the area via your caches. Found after thinking it must be up higher. No muggles today. TFTC
Day two of our daddy/daughter outback adventure. This was a quick park and grab as we headed west - once I got to the right height! Glad to have my geokid with me to use as a TOTT! Cool container! TNLN TFTC
Today we explored Bourke and surrounds and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ and adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Just about gave up. Then read the two metre clue. Yeh thank you for the cache.
Hi there daniel.lowe86.
We found your cache **"Rotary Park"** at 3:55:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 17338).
We cached around Bourke today, & thoroughly enjoyed our tour around the area. We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 9 caches (& DNF'd 2). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards

well maybe we did find it and maybe we didn't. We watched our step - on 23/5/17 - and replaced the cover very carefully not having found anything... so is the log missing? we would love to know, as we will not be back in Bourke, probably ever. we are tripping to North Q'land as part of a 4 month trip..
This cache took a few minutes to find because we were being guided by the Terrain rating of 1.5 (which means that the cache can be found whilst standing on the ground). When the search proved fruitless, we widened our search area vertically and soon located the cache. However some climbing was needed making this cache at least Terrain 2.0, possibly 2.5. In the end, the coordinates were accurate. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks daniel.lowe86 for the cache.
Found with Mum as 'Jess & Caro'. She is now Carø and I now have my own geocaching profile so we are sorting my logs for caches we found together. TFTC!
Found on the way to the Red Centre Event, had a quick look around town and found a small number of caches. Nice hide. TFTC.
Visiting my daughter and family in Bourke and were out for a walk. I remembered this one was close by so we went looking. Found the cache but had no pen. Too hot to walk back and get one (it's -30C back home in Canada right now so a + 70 degree temperature swing was a little much) TFTC.
Found easily by geokids. The bbq bench came in handy. SL. Left green caribiner. Took purple badge. TFTC.
Out caching real early

My Garmin took me to the BBQ. I looked around at ground level, but wasn't prepared to climb up on the BBQ with people nearby. Besides, BBQs can be greasy and the terrain level indicates no climbing is necessary.
Cairns trip 2016. Day 2. As I head further west I traveled through Nyngen & Bourke to stop a bit north of the border at a creek side rest stop. The day was dry but I had mixed results from my caching in some remote areas of Australia. I had a fun afternoon in Bourke. Lots of DNFs but the ones I found were all good.
Thanks.

We searched everything we could think of with no success today. Had to head off to Kidman park to get tent up before dark. Thanks anyway!
Returning home form our awesome road trip to the Kimberley's, grabbing a few caches on our way to mark our journey. Will have to return to explore this area further and do it justice. Party time on this one, thankfully no one around to watch our goings on. Tftc
Wow! Only 3 years ago when we were in Bourke, there was only two caches! Now the place has been filled with them! After a dnf down at the wharf, we picked this as our "Bourke cache." After waiting for the muggle to leave, a little clue from past logs told us where to look. CIH signed the log. TFTC!!

Travelling around Australia.
After a full on month visiting WA we are now back in our Caravan and making making for Birdsville.
After a few days in Cobar it was time to head for Back of Bourke! We dropped the caravan off at the caravan park then ducked out to visit town and find a cache or two.

Lucky geo-hubby was with me for this one as I wouldn't be able to climb to get it
Just picking up some caches today on our way along the Mitchell Highway heading towards Bourke, as well as a selection of caches in and around town. There was no problem finding this cache once we started looking at the right level. The container was a bit stubborn and did not want to open but it did open when the right tool was used. Thank you daniel.lowe86 for placing another cache to be found in the Bourke area.
