Its anniversary time and this year its GMelbs turn to choose the secret destination which is Port Albert (in the hope there may be an Aurora) Time to head home today and the weather is crying too! This cache wasnt long after we had checked out so we didnt want to get geopuppy out so we parked very close by and started looking but then it started raining again! After a bit of a look and getting wetter all the time we decided to leave this one for another day!
Attacked by the only blackberry for kms, but found it quickly! Thanks for the hide.
On a quick trip for Sunday afternoon fish & chips at reopened shop in Port Albert. Convinced muggle Hubby to indulge me with some geocaching on the way home. Quick find despite squashed spider incident. Tftc 2greywombats
Found this cache on our East Coast Trip Day 2 in company of Bazzars. A cache on a cold wet windy day on route from Foster to Sale. Thanks from D B-A
Added a proper log book.
Sandyofthesea and I took off from Perth at the start of April to travel more of Australia using geocaching as a guide to see the sights. How good is this country!!
2greywombats, I found Sign of welcome. today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

2greywombats, I found Sign of welcome. today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
I used the hint and read the description and I had no luck.
I decided to check the previous logs and realised that maybe it fell. Placed my knee unsuspecting on some blackberry… great…!
Soon had my eyes on the cache.
The container is holding up, but no need to look under and up. Try looking on the supports.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
I visited 5 TB.

Out and about today with Rebel Acts on a loop that took us out through South Gippsland and down to the coast before returning home via Yarram.
We traveled through some undulating farmland with some great views before hitting the coast with some walks along the beach.
Some roads we had never traveled before and others not for quite some time.
There were a variety of hides and cache sizes, it being a tough and long day with a number of DNFs before getting home well after tea time.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache 2greywombats.

Found it! We were heading home after a weekend in Port Albert. Stopped here to find the cache. Had to wait for a gap in the traffic. Got to be careful here! Spotted some wildflowers growing nearby! TFTC SL

Geocache-sanitise-repeat. frmen1 and I decided that a drive to Yarram was today's outing. A quick find between cars. Gosh...this road can get busy! Returning took longer than finding, even with using the car for cover. TFTC
A few days of caching and golf in South Gippsland had me meandering along this way . Had a fair idea where this one would be and the log was signed and off to find another. Thanks 2greywombats for contributing to this great game.
So hard not to be seen I’m sure people were looking at me thinking what on earth is she doing.
Muggles galore. Everybody driving around for a long weekend. I am sure we looked suspicious.
We're staying in nearby Yarram and today I decided to come out for a drive to see some scenery. And grab some caches too, of course
Took a while to find since I had to pause for every car that went past. I wonder what they thought I was doing out here by myself?
Thanks for find #1565

On our way home from Eden with BettyBoo3747.
Going from Bruthen to Fish Creek. Collecting a few caches along the way.
We were going the wrong way to be Welcomed by this sign, but we parked on the opposite side and made the quick find.
Thanks, Robmc.

#16994. Left Bruthen this morning and we are heading for Fish Creek. Just stopping for a few caches along the way. We were travelling in the wrong direction but stopped anyway. By the time I crossed the road Rob had the cache to hand. Nice hide. Names added and we continued on our way.
Thanks 2greywombats

A quick find in good condition, though a propper log book would be better than crunched up loose pages. Tftc

Catching up with some very late logs
We had set aside a few days to explore Gippsland with alansee endeavoring to aid him reaching 30,000 finds before the Queanbeyan mega event at Easter.
We visited rail trails, parks, mountains seeing beautiful scenery along the way as well as enjoying some lovely walks as well as some easy drive by's. The weather was mostly kind to us enabling us to search for the caches in comfort.
We have lost track of the number of times that we have been to Welcome to signs since starting caching but we don't ever mind adding more to the tally. The cache was located quickly and our names were added to the log.
Thanks 2greywombats for the cache.

We are very pleased that it is Saturday afternoon, there is roadworks happening here but being the weekend not a soul was around. Hubby retrieved the cache as I did not wish to encounter any creatures that may have been at home. SL TFTC

Day 12 of our caravan trip going South from Queensland. Explored Phillip Island and then in Wilsons Prom. First day spoiled us with sunshine, second day was stormy and partly too wet for walks.
Now heading home.
But before meeting our friends from Queensland in Port Albert,
travelling towards Melbourne.

The cache was found on the ground. It was lucky I looked down before I spent a long time looking fruitlessly. I wedged the cache in a nearby spot, logical to me, at least.. TFTC
Continuing my journey through Victoria to pick up caches for the Victorian LGA Polygon Challenge & Victoria Country Road Atlas Challenge. Managed to get another 2 maps ticked off and 2 LGA's. TFTC.
A sign of welcome and a welcome find. Thanks to 2greywombats for placing this cache that was easily found, as there were very few places it could be lurking. All was in good order and we were quickly on our way after doing the writing duties.
A quick find today with hubby and the geokids as we continue our Gippsland holiday adventure. So many stunning places to visit! This was a quick find picked up on our way from Paynesville to Toora. Many thanks for the cache.
