Out and about today and I decided to check the map to see what was nearby.
I find myself with time to kill so I stopped by here for a find. Heading to Whyalla from Adelaide.

Not much left compared to the boot tree in Pannawonica.

Many thanks to LíB for placing and maintaining Boots & Bra's Tree. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

31-Dec-22
Nice spot for it TFTC

31-Dec-22
Always liked this tree driving past. Pity vandals or council (not sure which) got nothing better to do. Most boots zip ties have been cut. Managed to sling a pair of sneakers back over a branch. Log is very damp and mouldy ..sorry didnt have my caching bag with me or i would of put a new log with snaplock bag in there. Cool looking cache tho. TFTC

30-Dec-22
After a day caching with sixpak69 whilst KBKL was at work, we went back to Balaklava to pick up KBKL after her shift and head out caching again. I really wanted to do a cache in Gawler which has won a number of awards and has heaps of fav points, so we cached our way in.

Its a shame the tree has been ruined here, maybe the "Boots & Bra Tree" can be resurrected in the next tree over? Cache located, signed and replaced as found.

Thanks for the cache placement 3LG (LiB) and thanks for the company sixpak69 and KBKL.

Got to love Australia with so many Boot or Bra trees around. Walked to the wrong part until looking I at the GPS and moving to the right spot and found the cache.

From 1950 to 1970 I would have been up and down this road 100's of times. Out for a drive and on this road again. Unfortunatley the tree has collapsed and the sign was covered with the dying branches. Stood the sign up and got the cache. T.F.T.C.

I couldnt quite work out what was going on here. I read the cache desc and wondered just what I would find at GZ. Whoaa, so funny. Not one tree but two trees full of boots and bras. Many not placed today nor yesterday, and were showing signs of wear. Get it, gosh I am funny.

Cache found and I was disappointed to have missed the TB by just hours. Cache in great condition, and restowed safe and sound. FP4U

Couldn’t just leave this one out here, I made the detour back down the road to this cache, a very odd location.

Today I decided to go for a nice drive along the back country roads just cleaning up the caches along the way, todays travels I needed up from two wells to Owen, balaclava and back via port Wakefield, all in all 48 finds for the morning complete.

Thanks for the cache

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel. Today we arrived in Hamley Bridge.

Using geocaching as our tour guide, we set out today on a round trip from Hamley Bridge to Owen and return via Barabba.

I saw an over shoulder boulder holder! Thanks for a great hide 3LG

An afternoon caching expedition had been organised with Michells&hound to tackle the February OTD series and the Prime Ministers series along with a few others along the way. [^]

M&h had also targeted three multis which we added to the list, and we also found. Big Grin We had a successful afternoon (4 finds and 2 DNF's) which ended up extending into the early evening, but hey when you are on a roll...Wink It was a beautiful day for caching, warm with a breeze which turned into quite a cool wind at the end of our day so it didn't bother us too much. Saw lots of wildlife with one huge paddock containing hundreds of goats running around...I had never seen so many goats in one place. Surprised

We had finished the OTD series and were on our way to the Prime Ministers series and as we were driving right past this one we decided to stop and have a look at the tree(s) very interesting. Cool

Thanks for the cache 3LG. Smile

13-Mar-19
After lots of dramas at work it was nice to finish at lunch time and head out on an afternoon caching expedition with JJ52.
The plan was to tackle the February OTD series and the Prime Minister series.
I also requested the add in of 3 multis as I am trying to qualify for the SFE multi challenge which is still a long way off.
We had a great afternoon/early evening out finding over 60 caches and only 2 dnf which both appeared to be missing.
The weather was glorious, not too hot and made for a super afternoon.
Thankfully no snakes were seen but we were vigilant as it seemed like perfect snakey weather. Plenty of birds were seen as well as a rabbit, lizard and many many goats and other farming animals.
TFTC cool trees with a sign post too! Found cache in logical 3LG spot.

09-Mar-19
A huge weekend of geocaching with Mary from Aussie M & M. We got ourselves a lovely little cottage in Kadina and made this our base. So many caches and so little time we had to target certain ones that we felt were special enough to get a visit. As per normal we fixed any that needed some love so other could find them after us.
This was my first find of the morning.
Thanks to 3LG from mogni Big Grin

Aaahhh you've been on my to do list for a long time, just for prosperity sake. We have a tree like you over in the west and it was interesting to see the size and shape of our fellow travellers and locals! Seems to be a bit of boot spread... So scrambled up to continue in search. Was surprised and a little disappointed it wasn't the boot I thought it would be but mighty pleased it wasn't a bra !! TYFTC SLTNLN

24-May-18
Only boots. No bras. Didnt feel like adding my own.
Found with FUF009.
Day 6 of an 8 day epic tour of SA.
Based in Tarlee, today's goal was some OTD caches, the 60 and the APM series.
Various side tracks to get other finds along the way were added in as they presented themselves.
The OTD series are so different in style of hide so that kept things interesting.
The APM was a long drive for few caches which we didnt really enjoy but it was heading in the direction of our accommodation so was convenient.
Again, I was impressed by the diversity of the SA countryside and it was a pleasant day.
204 caches found today. Apologies for the generic log.
All caches were found in good condition unless mentioned at the start of my log.

Day 6
On the list was OTD April and February, then onto the PSA series and the big 60 onthe map. After that it was a look at and completion of the APM, long and bumpy, trail. This took us all day and just to the brink of the night.

came up on the map as we were travelling around.

It ended up being a massive week of 2960 odd kilometers travelled, with day find counts of 25, 256, 361, 318, 66, 205, 104 and 76 (yep thats 1411 for the 8 days)

A trip up north with a Rat and a Starfish collecting a few new caches and many others that we had yet to get.

With the number of boots, runners and thongs adorning the tree we thought it time for a Bra. With Mrs Rat in the team we tried to coerce her into leaving a suitable garment but to no avail. Oh well maybe we will have to ransack through a woman's lingerie drawer and select a few old ones for a return visit. TFTC

On my way back from the Easter long weekend in Port Augusta to see a Bestie, this one perked my interest as I have seen these kinds of "Uses for tree branches" before lol... they are so cool Wink. Initially I wasn't too sure of just exactly where to look without disturbing any of the Boot's & Bra's present, so I just followed the GeoTrail to GZ Big Grin (GPS units usually come in handy too, lol [:o)] Left the phone in the car so I attempted to find it BFE style) Big Grin

It was Anymules Birthday and he wanted to go and find 'his' OTD birthday cache. Cool If you are going to do one OTD you may as well do the series. Razz So I invited myself along for the ride and met up with the birthday boy in Balaklava for a fun day of caching and chocolate cake.[8)]
Of course I had to make a few stops on my way to Balaklava to grab a cache or two, or three. [:o)] This was one of those.
Strangely there were more boots on another tree. It seems the ladies have not quite got into the spirit of donations to this place as yet. Wink Oh yeah - and I found a cache here as well. Smile

**Thanks 3LG for this cache. ** Big Grin

Found during a day of caching in the mid-north in the company of GoodLook and feathertop, with the main aim of completing the O.T.D. February, O.T.D. April and O.T.D July series, and any other caches that got in the way! Most of the logbooks were stamped under the name of 'fabulous randoms' but I did get to write my name out on a few that GoodLook and feathertop had previously located. From Balaklava heading south feathertop parted company but retraced our steps the following day. Thanks for the cache 3LG!

Found on our way to the Red Centre mega event in alice springs. If I'd known about this cache I would've brought along a 'sexy' but very uncomfortable bra to offload here, LOL. Lots of spiders on the walk to GZ. And pesky grasshoppers who sound like snakes sometimes! TFTC
