Hmm, had a good look here, the likely location according to the co-ords and hint is definately empty, searched all around aswell, did not find...
Dear Cache Owners,
I am a German guy who stays in New Zealand for eight months.
My English is not perfect, so please don't wonder if my log entries sound a bit strange. Thanks!
----------
Nice weather, so I went out to find some GROTTYS.
I was happy, that I could find all of them.
Nice Little track here. Box is in good condition.
Thanks for hiding!

Up in Auckland to pick up some gear so nabbed some caches along the way
Thanks for showing us this location. Will never be here if there is no geocaching. All good at GZ. TFTC
Missed this cache last time as it had been washed away. Thanks for replacing, nice quick find. TFTC
This morning I had to pick up some gear for work just around the corner from where I could park in order to walk to GZ. So after parking it was a short walk to the general area as to where I thought the cache might be hidden. However, the walking track here turned out to be quite busy today. First of all I was visited by a one black lone labrador dog who was out for a rather contented stroll by itself. There was no owner anywhere in sight.... and so after patting the dog, he/she dismissed me and wandered off. I figured at that point that I was allowed to continue to GZ. And once again, once I got there I was interrupted. I had to wait for a couple of runners to pass by before I could begin my search for the cache. However, when I finally began my search for the cache it was a nice and easy find. I was just surprised as to how busy this area was in terms of interruptions. So the log book has been signed and the cache put back nicely in its home... all ready for the next finder. So thank you sp8sm8 for taking the time to set up this cache... I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. Nice. TFTC!
cache number 3530 and day 114 of my current streak. After eventually finding the right place to park it was a short walk to GZ where I soon had my hands on the cache. Signed and returned. Cache all good. Thank you for the placement.
Great place for a walk. Cache is in great condition and log is dry. Thanks for the hide.
The rain was holding off so I came round here this morning to grab this one to continue my daily streak. Pleasant walk on a path I never knew existed. Quick find TFTC
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is five. This is the third for the day.
Out: TB.
Cheers for the cache.

I dare say this is a victim of last weekends storm, bit like us who are dealing with a flooded basement. Our priorities are obviously there, so it may take us a little while to get to this one.
On the road to pick up a few more caches in our quest to fill some dot days.
A quick find.

After escaping the puhinui reserve carpark as ot was getting locked I had a new mission to find some caches at night I was going to do the ones around the sewer ponds but I was scared of by the dodgy looking guys screaming abuse as I drove past decided to keep going and ended up here. I was a little happier as there was no one around. Quickly found cache and was on to the next one.

We walked a section along the creek in Puhunini Reserve, picking up a few caches along the way.
The weather was overcast but perfect for walking.
Thanks for placing this cache sp8sm8

A nice quite spot for a pleasant stroll this morning before work commitments nearby. TFTC
Good find for mr 7 on the start of our walk along the trail. Looks like the rain is coming in through TFTC
Out with the kids to give them some fresh air as they've been cooped up too long due to all the rain. Thought I bring them to this area to pick up a few caches. This was number 1 of the day and a nice quick find, TFTC!
9th find of an on and off rainy day, got the bug today though so sticking it out and off to find more! TFTC
What a lovely old bridge. Entered underneath too far but spied the cache and directed Mr M who was above where to reach. TFTC
Seems like a fairly abandoned place now days, but means no one around while we look for the cache
Another great find while on holiday in the area with Just-Lookin.
Soon had the container found.
Thanks for the fun! SL

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... We have a few caches earmarked to visit today before heading home...
We hoped that this walkway would loop around into Puhinui Park, so that we could link some of the other caches into a much larger walk. It was quite hard trying to make sense of the geo-map, but we quickly got moving... This was a reasonably straight forward find. TFTC.

10.55am - Once we found entry point this was a fairly quick find. Guess very few walkers would visit this location. SLTFTC
Another area we wouldn't have found if it weren't for geocaching. Interesting old bridge & surroundings. TFTC
Out with 10centnz cleaning some airport area caches quick find tftc Lokky 1 12 January 2016 12:37
Set out in the rain with lokky1 to get the new south Auckland caches! I have been meaning to do this one for a while and finally got to it today! Tftc
Had to drop one of the team at the airport so met up with Pagenz to do some caches in this area. Nice little walkway and a straight forward find. Carried on from here to the other cache along the overgrown pathway. Thanks
Decided it was time for another walk around the park collecting the last of the caches. Lovely day out in the sun. Thanks.
Vistra and I decided to make an early morning of it and try and get some numbers around the airport, particularly some of the newer ones, quick easy find, this had been on my list for a whilse but pleased I didnt do it then or I would be back for the others that popped up as well.

Having finished work for the year and being greeted with a nice fine day, yorkshirekiwi83 and I decided to head out and do a bit of caching around Manukau and Mangere. A quick find at this interesting old bridge, before we continued along the overgrown old section of trail to find the other cache down there. TFTC!

After dropping some work colleagues off at the airport I had time for a but of a walk before dinner. I got changed into suitable attire and headed off to find this one. No problems here. Found this cache in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Found with Mrs McMike2012 while out for a bit of a walk after tea ... didn't even realise this wee walkway existed ... will come back during the next fine weekend & explore a bit further ... cache easily found, logbook signed & replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,036 for us.
As I am working my way through the requirements for the DGSc Challenge the need to hit specific mission targets continues and tonight's little challenge it to gather a few more night caches to get me closer to finishing that particular elective.
Tonight I was in the company of iammrwalker, we drove up following work for a bit of fun, although did not know quite how much fun it would be after the recent weather. We were fortunate that the heavy rain held off and while there was the occasional shower passed by we stayed warmer and dryer than expected.
All Logs tonight were signed as "IAMCAT"
As this walk went on I can only say that the ground was water-logged, Thankfully the caches weren't, there was plenty of gossip and mission planning for future mad cap ideas.
Have often noted these three caches along here, but being dressed for work was never in a spce to collect them until tonight. This was the seventeenth of 25 caches located successfully tonight without a single DNF. The seventeenth cache of the evening and a nice simple find j(once we passed a car of some dubious purposes parked at the end of the access point to these caches.ust where we were hoping for it to be.
Geo senses took over here and the cache was quickly in hand
So again thank you for the FUN of the hunt

I was fortunate enough to have Cats&Dragons invite me to join him on a trip up to Auckland after work for some night caching. We left Hamilton at about a quarter to six and snuck into bed at about 3am having met all the evenings’ goals. During the night we discussed the state of the nation, the meaning of life, and had we stayed out latter I dare say would have solved the issue of world hunger, discovered a freely available cure for cancer and solved categorically who was responsible for JFK’s assassination. Maybe next time. It rained for most of the evening to various degrees and most areas we visited were pretty sodden but we didn’t let that get in the way of us having a good time. A big thanks to all the cache owners for taking the time and effort to place and maintain all the great caches we visited. We signed the log IamCAT a combination of our two Geocaching names.
We parked in the industrial area and walked toward GZ down a walkway between two large buildings to discover a white Suburu at the end with two occupants in the car, prevented from going any further by a chain. You can imagine what we thought they might be up to and I can only imagine what they were thinking about what we might have been up to, especially since when we returned from our 'walk' C&D had wet and muddy knees. Nice easy find in the logical spot.

Last find of the afternoon here for me today. Had grabbed the other two nearby ones so just needed to locate this one and call it a day. Went to where I had the most reach initially, noticed nothing out of the ordinary but it gave me a good view down to where the cache was hiding. Quick find with no one else around and I was on my way - TFTC
Out and about this morning for a spot of cache detection before duty calls in the afternoon. I actually walked passed this one earlier, but decided to save it for the return leg. Ended up doing an impromptu loop of the trails that involved an impressive (for me) leaping of the stream. Anyway, on my return the cache was soon spotted in the most likely of places. Cheers for the walk and the cache placement!
Looked in the least obvious places first before we located this one. A quick find while filling in time before heading to the airport.
Just got an FTF in the area, so thought it would have been rude not to get this cache while in the area
After chasing a new cache near by had to claim this one on the way back to the car TFTC
Mr Hemaludy, Darthcacher1 and Purply were out at Muriwai doing some night caches with a group of cacher friends. When the notifications came in of new caches the plans changed so of we went chasing FTF's. Got this one in passing on our way home after a drive across Auckland. Signed as part of Knight Riders.
A group of us 'Knight Riders' decided to head out to Muriwai to grab some caches, dinner and then some night caches. The plan went out of the window when the publications began. After a sucessful FTF nearby we headed back towards the car and stopped for this cache.
Nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Nice quick find. Thanks for the cache.
Had just got a group FTF a little further along the trail, so stopped for this one on the way back to the car. There were a fair few of us here, as south and west cachers converged after the FTF race, and much teasing and merriment was had at the bridge as we signed the log.
Log signed as "Knight riders"- a group name we came up with for our caching exploits earlier in the day/ evening, in order to save on log space.
TFTC- I haven't been to this area before, always cool to discover new parts of Auckland!

Had a very long week at work so with friday finally here and a sunny break in the weather, decided that I deserved a cache! Found the entrance to the walkway between two businesses blocked by small diggers, looks like some earthworks happening down the access lane, but didn't let that deter me! Approached GZ and made a quick find in the first place I looked, lucky as it was pretty wet underfoot. Everything nice and dry and in good order after the recent rains, TFTC
I was in the area, i.e Auckland! I was out, and about to find a cache of FMZ's in Pt Chev. I heard the usual bleep bleep on the mobile and off course I have to respond! Why wouldn't I! I shot off like a Subaru on heat but ended up going down HW1 instead of the Mangere route which probably would have been quicker. However I get to a street that seems to be closest to the cache. I drive up and down to see a possible entrance through all the high wire fences that plague this street. I started to think I had the wrong approach. So I checked the cache page and yes I happen to be on Aerovista Pl. So where is the damn entrance? it was sort of hidden behind a large digger machine, which was parked up right next to it. In my haste I didn't see it straight away! But I see it now! So off I trot with tools in hand, GPS and mobile in case I get a FTF alert from someone who has beaten me to the cache. Arrived at the neat old bridge and with anticipation I open the easily found cache and YES! FTF for me, whew, that was a relief. Cheers sp8sm8 for that, I really enjoyed the fun chase and the neat old bridge too.

I had just said by to Mrs stik-a-crane and junior cacher for the day and sorted some brunch for myself when the announcement rang out from the phone... was it a found log for one of our caches or a new publication... I had to tend to our youngest cacher first, then checked the messages...
A new cache and really close to boot, how is this going to work as I have our youngest and it's the weekend when other FTF hunters are going to be much faster off the mark than I.
Having to wait an approximate 1/2 hour before the youngest would be mobile I decide to just watch things unfold.... 1/2 hour went by and no activity... where are the usual suspects... I knew it was going to take me another 40mins to reach GZ, shall I .... why not, the sun was creating more warmth outside for junior anyhow so off we race, hopeful.
The gps told me 2 mins to parking when the FTF blowing message comes through, that someone had already claimed the find. I was too close now so I decided to continue and have a nice walk in the sun.
To boot the FTF was someone illegally (without a current passport/visa to be operating in the area) Gorby... a good 45mins before me I see gggggrrrr.

Didn't you know stik-a-crane! I operate as a FBI agent in my part time, and at other times I disguise myself as James Bond, man on a mission! Therefore I don't need a passport when I travel to an assignment, and I get to shoot things! Or I get to find things that are very secretive and need to be uncovered! Hence FTF's are on my to-do list. Being the secretive agent that I am, you will never know when I will pop up!
Saw these two new caches come through this morning while we having a late breakfast. Ok, now we know where we are heading this afternoon. Not in any FTF race, just a leisurely Sunday today enjoying the sunshine and a few smileys. Headed to this one first and never realised that the Te Araroa track headed through here! Parked up and made the short walk to GZ over the rustic old bridge. Cache quickly found, log signed and we were off to the next new installment. TFTC sp8sm8 and for showing us this new area
