Logs
We assumed we were looking for a birdhouse but despite widening our search area, found nothing. Judging by the last log, the cache is AWOL - if so please disable until a new one is in place.
Looked everywhere, without sucess until the CO came along and said the cache container had been muggled, but the logbook was still there. So quickly signed.
Needed to get a cache today and as I was over collecting junior from Devonport chose this one... Arrived at GZ and stated the search... Well found a little way off, and possibly not in the state when the CO set it, as logging was quiet easy....

Little bit of a challenge but lots of fun, saw some amazing birds on our walk.
Went off the co-ords posted and sure enough not much of anything to be seen. Reviewed past notes to see it would be worthwhile to broaden search by 15 meters and sure enough cache quickly located. Disturbed the family of cockroaches which have taken up residence within TFTC
Don't think I'd climb to the tree platform for the view but the vicinity is a great spot for the local kids to play hide and seek.
I went out today with yorkshirekiwi83 for an afternoon of caching around the Hauraki, Bayswater and Devonport area. After wandering along the boardwalk to GZ, we had a search around the general area and soon spotted this nicely made cache. Reattached the roof which was lying on the ground. TFTC!
Last find of the day and a nice one to end it with. Swooped in for a quick find and was back on the boardwalk before anyone else wandered along. TFTC
Vistra and I had planned on being out and about today with it being Earthcache day and we decided to grab others in the area. We parked nearby and walked along the track after reading previous logs we started looking within a 15m radius. Soon had the cache in hand and it was about 15m from the coords. Vistra fixed up the roof so it looks like it was intended. TFTC
A very nice bit of construction. As others indicate the co ords seem 15m out but the tree cover doesn't help. Sadly no problem getting the log out to sign. It seems to have been a muggle vs a tornado which took part of the roof off. NINO TFTC
Me and my partners first find. GPS isn't quite right but with a bit of looking found it.
Collecting a few of the local caches while in the area with tmann421.
A nice quick find and cache in good order.

Parked up nearby and had a wander along here. GPS wasn't being helpful so resorted to cacher instinct and an idea of what we were looking for. Soon located the cache. Thanks
First cache in a few months and quite a hunt for this one gave up in the dark last nite but came back this morning and got em

Just loved the effort gone into the construction of this cache, really well done. Tftc.
Doing a few caches after work. Had me going for a while. Most definitely look at all logical clues! TFTC
Took a while as the GPS was jumping about all over the place, pretty sure I knew what to look for and eventually spotted it.

After stopping at Little n Friday for some sustenance, ventured forth to find somewhere to eat our bounty. Nice spot by the waste water station (poo seems to be the theme today). Searched for this cache but Muggles were a plenty on such a sunny day. Unfortunately the coords were a little wandersome so eventually reverted to the useful comment in the logs... to find Mr had already taken a peek here at the start but not quite far enough... found a couple of chairs and an unusual spot for a light fixture on a pole.. until Mr pointed out it probably would burn if you " lit it"... euuuwww more poo spots...

Made the call to have a look for this with FMZ, the traffic wasn't too bad to get over the bridge. Got to GZ and started searching unsuccessfully. Eventually supernanny turns up and joins us. I realised I had the hint wrong due to a single letter (doh) and it then becomes obvious (well, to me, the others probably tweaked beforehand) what we are searching for. Eventually FMZ spotted the cache and a joint (FTF) was scored for all!
Coordinates were a little off for all of us. And given it wasn't on the path I wouldn't really rate it as wheelchair accessible.
Thanks!

Yep.....this one HAS been found !!!
Saw it come out when I was finishing work tonight at Ponsonby..so I thought why not ?
Don't know this area well so studied the map and shot over the bridge. ...I thought for sure some North Shore Cachers would be there ....
Was wandering around on way to gz ...took a wrong turn and nearly fell into the water !!!
Got closer and saw two more torches ....was quite pleased as was a bit spooky on my own and my torches are pretty weak ...
It was the usual suspects ...
FMZ and Slieschke .....We spread out a bit to widen the search ...had a fair idea what we were looking for ...Yay....yip ! There it was ....finally. .
The guys gained entry to the cache ok and did the signing ...
So thank you for the adventure hmckee and nephews !!!

If I had stayed just a little bit later at work then would have gotten here even sooner, but I had just got home when I saw this new cache published. Headed over with slieschke to take a look. Arrived at GZ and no one about so started to take a look around. Couldn't spot anything that resembled the cache, and then saw a light nearby which turned out to be supernanny, who then joined in the search. Upon expanding the search area finally I spotted the pretty obvious cache hide. Nice one, and despite the coords being a little bit off (although we were searching using our phones, under tree cover) I will give it a fave point just for the effort that went into it. Joint {FTF} with slieschke and supernanny. FTF #1798 TFTC!!!
