Logs

01-Oct-16
Due to this geocache / location being temporarily disabled for some time now because of flooding, we have decided to archive it for safety reasons, and re-establish the container nearby.

We have re-placed the geocache container nearby, but it is outside the geocaching.com "Update co-ordinates" guidelines, so we will submit it as a new one.

Anyone who has found this one in it's current location is welcome to find it in it's new location.

Thank you for finding this, and for your time posting logs, we have really enjoyed reading what you have thought of this!

Burlos.

Stopped at the 'Driver Reviver' station on the way back to Adelaide. A bit disappointed the cache had been removed because of the recent, and current, storms but I completely understand. Better safe than sorry.
God bless.

KZ Puppy was eager to get back into the car and out of the wet weather. Smile

**Update!**

Just been out to check what conditions are like out here, with a view to re-enabling this geocache.

Unfortunately, while the Driver Reviver is now OPEN again for school holidays, it is still not quite safe enough to reinstate the container and re-enable this geocache just now.

Will check again next week.

Thank you for your patience.

Just a quick update.

Have been out to the Driver Reviver today, just to check the state of things.

Driver Reviver is OPEN, but, be careful. Some roads will be closed soon because of water.

This cache is still temporarily disabled (Container removed too) for safety reasons. (See attached image)

14-Sep-16
Due to safety reasons, I have temporarily disabled this geocache.
The creek is high, and the bank is unsafe at present, due to the recent heavy rainfall.
Have removed the actual geocache container, so please don't attempt this one for now.
Will check this again soon, and replace and re-enable when it is safer.
Thank you.

A quick Walk in from the parking spot and I spied the cache. Poor Brisal5 decided that was about the time he was going to accidental slip and fall down. Pipe on the edge of the bridge assisted him not face planting on the rocks below. TFTC. 19/08/2016, 4:07 PM Find #2600

Suscoe was on the last day of our S A trip today heading home.
It was a cloudy and at times drizzly day.
We found 12 caches today along the Western Highway.
Thanks to Burlos for this hide.

Well we supported the coffee folks here raising money for the old folks home, an investment in their future the two ladies informed us.
Great to be able to help out the local community.
Coffee and cake was tasty too.

Found by Mary & David at 1715. We have been here when the river was in flood and water was across the road. Driver reviver sites are a great idea, but even better is a cache so you have the chance to stretch your legs and have fun too. Our thanks to Burlos.

remember this stop used to have a cache here which my bee friends took over a quick coffee and we were on our way again
Thanks Burlos for putting this cache out for us to find

A quick stopover on the way back from South Australia, saw us in company with pappilon4506 find this easy cache and log our presence.

We didn't stop for a coffee, but they do a great job offering the opportunity to stop and take a break.

Thanks Burlos for the cache placement.

A quick and easy drive by as we roam around the area caching with mcsee&petal. The driver reviver was doing plenty of business today, but the joy of caching was all the break we needed. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.

Found by Team Ninja 29/05/16, find number 809.
Driving from Melbourne to Adelaide and after a few other rest breaks between home and here it was finally time to find a cache! This was the first one for the trip and after parking nearby I made my way to GZ. I actually approached from the wrong side of the river so I was glad to only have to negotiate a few puddles to get to the cache!
After a short search I spotted the cache and had the log signed. TFTC! Very Happy

29-May-16
A great cache to breakup the monotony of driving to Adelaide from Melbourne. Tanked full of coffee and V, this rest stop proved very necessary and with the outside temperature at a very cool 8 degrees, I needed some rigorous stretching to loosen up the cramped muscles.

Walked over towards GZ but did a loop around the creek as my compass was misbehaving. Eventually got the metres to within 5 then started searching. Spotted this nicely hidden cache and the legs sure got a stretch from all the crouching. SL & replaced as found.

Tftc! Appreciated the diversion and now to continue towards.

**Find # *3601* Traditional # *2793* Big Grin**

GemmaSistema, wozzle68 and myself made plans for an adventure trip out west making our way to the this is SA series. We cached along the way and back having a blast while doing so. The weather was ordinary overnight but the morning was glorious, a great day to cache Smile

After our successful trip in the Little Desert National Park, we were now making our way back home, still caching along the way. Not the easiest place to get to, and after a quick search, container was found. Signed and returned as found.

**Thanks for this trad cache, Burlos** [^]
**Log and container in good condition.**
**Took Nothing, Left Nothing.**

Caching in the far west of Victoria today targeting the This is SA series on the border with Na'wal and wozzle68. After smashing out the trail we had some time left to explore and grab a few more caches so headed a little further west, had some lunch then headed back east towards Ballarat caching as we went. A quick dash and grab here - thanks Smile

A quick and easy find with CP.

A lovely location and nice spot to stop on our fun roadtrip from Adelaide to St Arnaud. The main aim of our trip was to complete the BM series, attend the CITO event and obtain the the special souvenir (as amazingly not 1 CITO had been arranged in SA). Locus Cache and I collected CPwanderer, then spontaneously en route Muff1 asked to join in on our trip from Kaniva...lol...and of course the answer was yes! We loved all of the caching we did and had such a fun time filled with crazy happenings and lots of laughter. Woo Hoo...bring on the next roadtrip Wink

Thanks for the cache Burlos! Smile

23-Mar-16
Being as it is the Easter long weekend this weekend, the Driver Reviver centre will be OPEN here.

It's open 24/7 until late Monday / early Tuesday, I believe, so if you are geocaching in this area, there will be people around at any and all times of the day.

Please take advantage of this centre if you are travelling, even if you don't get a chance to search for the geocache.

Have a safe weekend. Smile

It was really hot when we arrived at this location - our car dashboard indicated that it had got to 44 degrees (do not know the accuracy of in-car thermometers). With no water in the creek, we were able to get to GZ where we had to scramble over quite hot rocks. After a short hunt the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Burlos for the cache.

Dropped off the caravan at the park, and headed out to pick up a few caches.

Parked close by, and took a short stroll to locate the cache. Signed and replaced.

This cache was found during a weekend adventure with my two boys out in the Little Desert National Park. We camped here the night, arriving quite late the night before, quickly setting up the tent and the three of us getting a good nights sleep. This was a great place to camp the night with heaps of room to set up tent.
We were up nice and early and packed up camp. We were waiting for Jacko83 and Timmo98 to meet us here as we would be spending the day 4WD'ving and exploring the Little Desert National Park together, so we made our way over to GZ where we quickly found the cache and signed the log. The guys turned up shortly afterwards and found the cache themselves too, then we were on our way.
Thanks Burlos.

Find # 2772 @ 0916 H

Found with Tyred n Cranky.

Headin off on our annual January TDU trip over to SA.
Needing a cupper coffee we decided on stopping off here where we would be well off the road.
Mr Tyred n Cranky decided to sit this hunt out n make the cuppers, so it was Mrs Tyred n Cranky and myself that got to climb the rocks.
After a bit of a hunt and walk around I soon spied the cache.

Super hot weather with a yucky hot wind, still grateful for all the places caching take us

Road trip to SA for International Geocaching Day. Stopped for a pit stop and also to find the cache. Team Crackers and I headed off from the car park and soon had the prize in hand. Thanks for placing this cache.

14-Aug-15
As soon as we saw where this one was it bought back memories of locating a now archived cache that used to be here. It was a bit harder that time as the driver reviver was operating and there where quite a few people around. Today was just the opposite, on a drizzly day we had the entire area to ourselves where the cache was found after suing the clue as our GPS's wanted us to search in a slightly different area today.
Thanks for the break in the drive.
