Quick drive to Kadina and found another silo cache. TFTC chrispy89, and to the previous finder's maintenance.
Thanks chrispy89 for placing this cache and for the ongoing maintenance. Find #10791 on 9/11/2024 at 9:35AMThree of us headed north to collect a few smileys. Our target was the BigQ and also collect anything else we found along the way. Signed logs as TOAD (Team Ozgrumpy Astro doineedthis). A great day out, Thanks to all the COs for their time and effort.
A trip up to do the Big Question Mark with OZGrumpy and Astro. Its days like these when all the finds merge in to one, this one was found, it was signed, it was returned, and on to the next.
Found it full of water, box broken, replaced logbook, new bag, and new container, back where we found it, tftc with jeffner5556
Replaced container, log book and plastic bag for book. Put the toys back in but the original log book and container was too far gone to keep so will disposed of them. Found with Sarge5556. Tftc crispy89.
Found broken, bag torn book mouldy and too big for box. Owner mistaken on which cache maintenance was done on
Owner mistaken on which they maintained. This is as seen in the photo on my log. Cracked and broken box, mouldy log and torn bag. I didnt have a spare with me to help out.
Found and signed on Saturday on our way to Port Augusta and then to the West Coast.Bute is a nice little town surrounded by original mallee scrub. However, the cache is in a very poor state of repair and won't survive the next winter.
Will be passing soonCome visit SA's longest running annual event - keep the weekend free - 7th - 10th June 2024 Cant wait!!
Staying next 2 nights in Wallaroo but taking the long way there. Haven't cached this area before.
Managed to find this and open the mouldy notebook a fraction to get my name inTFTCNEEDS CO ATTENTION
This has had an Owner Attention Requested for well over 2 months now and no input from the CO.The container is cracked and logbook mouldy and pages stuck together.
Found it! Unfortunately it was smashed and full of water and I was unable to add my name to the log book. Logging as found but will return another day to sign my name. TFTC!
Unfortunately this cache has disintegrated and filled with water. Cache and logbook need replacing. TFTC!
A quick find past the silos, the GPS took us to this town and I'm glad it did. Tftc
Nice easy find but the lid was broken and was a but wet, needs a little mantinence but awesome spot
Quick find with the kids as we head north on our SA road trip. Thanks for the fun and adventure.
Decided to do a day trip to Kulpara and make a start on the Gone fishn series. Also getting some other caches on the way. All caches were in in good condition unless mentioned. Today was a PB collecting 115 caches for the day. TFTC

Quick find here today on my way past, cache and contents are all good
Today I headed up to the copper coast for a day out to find a few caches yet to be found plus the new onslaught of puzzles up here. Managed to dodge the rain that was forecast and come away with just over 50 finds.

Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling in the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
After a wet and windy night, we are heading to Bute and surrounds with iluvtrekking picking up caches along route. Truly beautiful artwork - stunning . Thanks crispy89
Day 11, week 2 of 5 weeks holiday.

Log signed and cache returned with camo.

A fun day with JJ52 and Michells&hound going from Adelaide to Lochiel, Snowtown, Bute and Moonta finding caches along the way. My main role was to drive and find caches. Nice artwork. TFTC chripy89
Today was a mighty fine day. A Jams crew day albeit depleted today it was just Allisterw, JJ52 and I so we logged using our individual caching names rather than as Jams.
We made a canny plan to head up the highway to Lochiel, Snowtown and then via Bute to Moonta. Lots of caches found including several ‘bastard’ nanos (eagle eyed Allister was the nano king today). Lots of historical buildings, a monster, the beach, a wedding, a bomb, tractors and many ‘welcome to’ signs. Lots of ‘bastard’ cacti but we seemed to win more of those than we lost which was a definite bonus. Only one dnf for the day.
70 caches visited and Allisterw top scored with 69 finds.
It was very chilly all day but no rain so no complaints.
Thanks to the many COs for contributing to our day out and big thanks to my pals for the laughs and Allí for driving
Nice quick find here TFTC chrispy

Sad to see many rural railways no longer operational and slowly decaying. Enjoying my geo tour of Bute though. Tftc
I never had the pleasure of travelling on this line. I booked a bluebird trip that was promised to be the last trip over the line, but unfortunately the trip did not go ahead due to insurance difficulties and AN being less than cooperative with the organisers - may have been ARHS.
Anyway the cache was a quick and easy find today, with no grain trucks around yet. Wait a couple of months and it might be very busy...

So we were all set to fly to Dayboro for the Queensland Mega this weekend. There hadn't been a case in Qld for a quite a few weeks before we decided to book in early Feb. What are the chances of a case causing a lockdown and closing the border we thought..So when it all did happen just 4 days before we where due to leave, we were royally peed off. So we had to cancel and find somewhere else to spend Easter. Pt Broughton was a last minute choice so here we are at the Broughton Bay RV park. After having brekkie in the Cafe and looking around the markets we headed out to do a few around the district. A quick find here TFTC
All was quiet around the silos today. Accurate coordinates and a common style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks chrispy89 for the cache.
Day 442 ( Friday 13th) of our trip. Caching along the way, in Bute today. Out this afternoon to get a few around Snowtown. TFTC

Finally some time off to do some geocaching. Headed north to Snowrown to try and clear the map. TfTC
Staying at the Beautiful Hummocks station at Snowtown (highly recommend it) we ducked out to find a few caches nearby again today. Loving the history shared in this area with us by the Cache owners.

Today was an excellent day out with Goodlook, CP Wanderer and Erine14. We set out with the aim to complete the Sad Fisher series, and find a few extra caches in the area. We were lucky the rain stayed away for most of the day, and only had a few light sprinkles. All caches were found in good condition, with excellent coordinates unless noted otherwise. I really enjoyed the series, and the other caches we found today.
The roads were all in good condition too. Somewhere along the way Erine14 and I both found our 1800th caches, and it was our first day finding 100+ caches! Thanks for the cache!

earthlight and I were heading for a day at Port Broughton and so Rex and I picked her up at 8.30am[^]
We dropepd her back at 10.20pm[|)][^][|)]
During the day we had eaten lunch at the Port Broughton Hotel, walked the jetty at Broughton, laughed at Rex barking at and chasing seagulls and pigeons, found 13 caches and I did 1 lot of maintenance[^] on 1 of my own caches[^] as well as ending our day with a FTF
We had a fantastic day with only 1 real rain shower and sunshine at times too[^]
It's cold, dark and the soursobs and grasses are soaking wet so I'm walking very carefully... trying to keep my shoes out of the wet weeds underfoot!
Rex had fun sniffing around everywhere too
Cache found easily by me as earthlight had done this one previously

Found on a trip from home in the Adelaide Hills to Wool Bay on Yorke Peninsula, via the scenic route through the Hills to Gawler, out to Mallala and taking the back-roads to Balaklava, up to Snowtown, across to Bute and Paskeville and down the peninsula through Maitland and Minlaton, finding 32 caches for the day and clearing up a good portion on the map. Thanks for the cache chrispy89!
Owl was out on a long-awaited girls' day out with SA Sewer Rats. Random caches were found in random directions (though Owl will try to claim that it was all totally planned that way!) The rain held off, there were no DNFs, the lunch was yummy and the company great. Just what you want in a caching day! This was a careful find, as something was grunting at Owl while she made the retrieve. Never spotted what it was... ghosts of past cachers?
On the way to Millicent Mega and detour and signed the log as EV and thanks for the cache and hide
An easy find at the start of a caching day with geo friends Gemini 7. Heading out to Snowtown, Lochiel to grab a few which have remained unfound over the years

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Today we moved from Port Broughton, via Bute to Moonta, caching where it is safe to pull in with the caravan in tow.
Quick find, thanks to whoever lever the shackle bolt in the cache, just what we needed. Left a few marbles in return. Thanks chrisy89
