Disabling this until I can get a chance to confirm if the cache is still there or not.
No luck here, area has clearly massively flooded Nd there plants are washed down as well as tons of trash.
Not a nice spot right now and I’m doubtful the cache is still there.

There is green waste dumped at site, will this affect the chances of finding this cache?
Thank you for the cache! Log book was so wet. So here is a picture that I've found it!
A small slope to negotiate. Log sopping wet, have added a dry log, till old one dries out perhaps.
Found but was full of water so couldn't sign log and didn't take or leave anything
Went in a bit to far, but found it as I was coming back up from below. Left a small bit of paper as couldn't sign the very wet log, TFTC
Out on our bikes on a sunny Sunday for a change. As previous stated the log is mush. Nice to have a cache to find on the trail. TFTC.
On a caching day with Agazo and Bennett24 and on our way to a multi just down the way a little. Both had already found this cache but I had not so stopped on the way to see if I could make a quick find and not hold everyone up too long. Neither could remember much about the cache so I had to find it under my own steam. First looks revealed nothing but the cache was easily spotted when approaching up the slope from below.
Unfortunately the cache has taken on quite a bit of water over the winter so the first job was draining all of the water out of the cache. The log is double bagged but had come open so the logbook was pretty wet but just able to scratch my name on the log.
Perhaps a bit of maintenance might pay off here as the weather improves we hope!
Thanks for the cache - cache is present.

Came down this way this morning to grab a coupla caches to continue my daily streak (Day #487) and this was first. Searched around in circles for a wee bit but got there in the end. TFTC
I was down in Auckland for a few days so I wanted to collect my solved puzzles. I was in the area collecting the Blues Clues puzzles and this trad looked easy so I couldn't resist another smile. An easy find on this nice walkway, thanks
Found with lid left off ( no doubt by previous finder ). Fortunately it wasn't signed by the aforementioned and so logbook was still tucked up dry in it's plastic bag. We placed it back as it should be.
Found scattered across the ground on another very soggy summer's walk. All tucked away safely again now. Tftc
In the area today with a little time to spare to locate a cache of two....decided upon this one as I thought during the day the muggles would be much less.....
Nice little hide here....the last time I was here was for the Blues Clues trail.....

Found ... Mrs McMike2012 decided we should go for walk out West & had done a bit of research into the Opanuku Walkway ... while I researched a few caches along the way ... and so it was ... this cache was easily found, log completed & returned ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,554 for us.
Over the last few days I had been out at Carey Park Christian Camp helping to coordinate a kids camp that started the first night of the current school holidays. And as I just needed a small break and a bit of quiet from all of that fantastic energy, what better way to do this than by finding a cache. That is how I came to be looking for this particular cache. So after parking out on the road, I made my way to GZ. And once I got there I had to wait a while as there were quite a few muggles out walking and cycling along here today. I was actually quite surprised as to how busy it was. However, once the coast was clear, it was a nice and easy find. So log book signed and put back in the cache. Thank you witchegurl for taking the time to set up not just this cache, but all of your caches. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. Now its back to the chaos of camp. TFTC
Nice easy finds are always fun for Michelle, so TFTC. First in the new logbook.
In the pouring rain, I peered through at several points to see if I could see the cache before venturing into the wet trees. Spotted it and managed to push my way through the undergrowth to get to it. Nice cache, but both logs inside are drenched. I couldn't open one booklet, but managed to scrawl my name in the other. Both will need to be replaced though. TFTC
A quick find on a rest stop mid-unicycle ride. Avondale to Henderson valley via NW Cycleway. Cache was a bit wet but log book still dry.
Short walk had the cache in hand, biggest problem was choosing the right moment so as not to get sprung by muggles. TFTC
Had a nice walk with hubby and geo-dog, beautiful sunny day today. Found the cache after a quick bush-bash. The log was soaked (probably from the recent flooding) so I left a fresh log in there as I had a spare ready to go. Thanks for the cache!
Took my first TB and left a minion.

Although my GPS threw me off a little; cache was quickly found when I widened the search a little. Cache was a little damp but otherwise in good condition. TB left. TFTC.
Maybe the camo doesn't need redone as this one beat me today! Did find someone's plastic Christmas tree and someone's grass clipping though. I'll be back as I think there are a few more spots to look.
Log Replaced and Double Bagged.
Will replace camo on container as soon as i can...
Thank you for the need's maintenance report AlligatorzNZ.

used the cache to decide where we were walking today.. unfortuantely it was not that suitable for the taller humans .. but dodging piles of dog poo, the unlucky one managed to find a route under ... sadly the log was so wet that it resembled the stream below....;-( only managed to get the date on it..
Container half full water - I drained it out but the logbook still too wet to sign!
Thanks for bringing me [back] here!!

I noticed I only had five caches for August so we decided to spend this nice weather out getting that total up to ten.
I spotted the cache but getting to it took a bit longer. Cache was very very wet.

Parked close and a quick walk to GZ. Nice hiding place too as its easy to sign the log here.. log book is very wet. tftc.
I looked around a bit until I got into the right position and finally spotted the cache. Log is quite wet. TFTC.
Finding a few local caches in between showers and aimed myself in the direction of this one. GPS had me just past GZ, but didn't take too long to see where the cache was happily hiding and managed to emerge from the bushes back onto the path without anyone else around to see me. Good times, TFTC
Expanded our search a little and soon found the hide. Whilst signing the log the container was accidently knocked which caused it to roll down the steep bank towards the creek. Calls of quick stop it were not heeded in time but luckily for us it came up short of the water by about a foot. Kiwi was sent down the slippery bank to retrieve. Soon had it secured back in place. TFTC
Was nearby and decided to come a find this cache. Friends used to live nearby, before the cycleway was put in! Arrived at GZ, had to squeeze myself down to reach the cache. It was full of water, I emptied it, and removed a few items that had gone rusty. The log was damp, but I was still able to sign it. Thanks for the hide
TB taken to move on to another cache!

I found some white tape on a tree at the gz but that is about it. Was that part of it?
Very good find today while geocaching around the area.
Thanks for the fun cache!

This one presented a little bit of a challenge. Not least because errant gps kept putting me, initially in the stream, quickly followed by my being in someone's front room; and then there were the jogging, sweating screeching cycling female muggles. I felt like I was trying to search in the middle of a Female 'Tour de West Auckland', sponsored by Jenny Craig.
However, distractions aside, it took a considerable change of searching direction, and an adoption of a more....shall we say....'Organized Approach', and lo and behold....cache soon to hand.
Great to Knock the B****r off as a famous New Zealander once said; as this one had been a solitary green rectangle in the middle of so many yellow smiley faces for to long...
Thanks for the enlightenment...I never knew until today that lycra tops and pants could stretch

Had arranged to met up with Trout-fly today to pick up as many drive by caches as we could. Had a great time finding 35/35 for the day, Nice quick find here. TFTC
#10613. Our last cache following the stream, and a quick find. Now, I just need to work out a good biking route back to the car, parked at Sunnyvale Station. TFTC.
Out for a morning walk with KatMidd and Nebulenz. While I checked out a few likely suspects, Nebulenz made the find. TFTC
TFTC! Was nice to pop a cache this morning. Was out and about with our little one, KatMidd and Hughie_
We loaded the bikes onto the car and headed west, the Blues Clues series being our main focus but picking up the odd other cache on the way. The weather forecast was for rain later, but apart from a few spots, it held off, fortunately. My first visit to Henderson and I enjoyed my introduction to the area via the great bike trails in the area.
Time to head back to the car, parked in the Sunnyvale Station car park. But can't ride past a cache! Quick find. TFTC.

After checking around a few shrubs I soon came across the correct one and located the cache. TFTC!

Not the wisest idea to attach the cache by punching holes in the lid It may seem that the weather will not be able to get inside but it's an underestimation, always
So, a little damp inside already.
Anyway, nice spot and cycle-path.
Thanks for the cache!

Vistra and I headed back out after it got a bit cooler to work on the west ones again. Couple of kids playing on the road near here but we soon had the cache in hand without them seeing.

After caching on the North Shore this morning, then taking a break from the heat this afternoon, yorkshirekiwi83 and I headed out again this evening to pick up a few local caches out West. A quick dash into the bushes where the cache was soon spotted. TFTC!

We dropped by after a visit to the "Just Plane Interesting" shop, with the FluffyBandit family. Find credit goes to ever-alert FluffyBandit #4. Tftc
It is a rare thing for us both to be away from our property during daylight hours in the christmas tree selling season. This morning Mark had an early appointment for some minor skin cancer surgery, so Sherrie came along to do a little bit of christmas shopping before driving him back home - via a couple of caches.
Parked and made the short walk to GZ. There appears to be a few "geotrails" into the shrubbery around here, and we had checked out more than one before we spotted the hide. TFTC.

Out exploring the Henderson Bike Paths on a fine sunny day, so why not find some Geocaches while I'm there
After checking the lighting near by, I had a quick search for this one. As I was in the bushes signing the log, I hear footsteps. A muggle was walking by, the cover made sure I went unnoticed. TFTC
Nice quick find, but Murphy's law no one around, merlot finds the cache and two muggles and their dog appear. we were just looking for geodogs lost ball
There was no one around on this grey and occasionally wet afternoon until I'm in the bushes signing the log. 'Did you find the ball?' I hear ugnz call as some muggles chose that moment to walk past. 'Yes' I reply though I'm not sure they believed us as geodog was sitting in the car nearby!
Out and about in West Auckland, taking advantage of the sunny weather today, picking up some cache finds to add to the tally. Parked up at the trail-head and made the short walk down the path to GZ. A quick survey of the scene and I spotted the way into the cache's hidey spot. From here a super quick find was executed. Took the TBs and covered a little before leaving. Cheers for the cache placement!
Managed to use my tracking skills and follow the cacher trail to the GZ. Nice quick find. Uplifted TB and dropped off a couple to. TFTC
Great cache spot. Love the fejoia trees nearby. Spotted the Tar baby's TB. Left comissioning octopus TB. Found with battlebarbie
Great spot. Quick find, as it has been a busy cache in the last few days. Very busy area during the evening. Nice stroll with Gradi3nt. TFTC
Came by this way because this cache seemed all lonely, one I haven't done that needs to be done. I love this walkway, I have done it a few times now. Had no trouble find the cache, all looks good. Co-ords fine too.
Left Tar baby's TB. Thanks witchegurl for the cache.

Walked past here many times in the past but hitched a ride today. A hunt in the bushes and all was revealed. Tftc
Found this one on Thursday on my way to work ! Got some strawberries a grower nearby as well ! So nice to have a new one out West thanks ! I like your method of attachment ! Can't go awol ! Thanks so much Witchegurl!
Having had enough of walking today we decided to park as close as we could to this one. Waited for three cyclists to move off before we started to hunt seriously for this one. Was quickly located and logged.
I was in the neighbourhood so I thought I would pick this up. Nicely hidden and a nice quick find. Not sure why the inside of the cache is already a bit wet but log is dry.Tftc
