A sneaky wee hide and a nice big area to pull over safely too. An FP from me TFTCFind#166
Nice hide under the kanuka umbrella. The prickly mingi mingi helped provide the point TFTC
What a great cache, we gave it a FP for its cunning hide. As folks before us noted the log is mush so have replaced it with new waterproof paper. TFTC
TFTC - found immediately which caused a good giggle from master 8! Pic of log as it's quite the mush
Nice and easy, someone added a new log and I replaced the baggie All good here Thanks!
Awesome hint and spot to hide it, only downside was that rain had completely ruined the log
Yay after a little debating and reading of others comments finally worked it out! What a great hide! Just pity the log is so wet!
Pic to show we found it

Nice easy find for us as we have found similar caches in the past. The log is still wet, too wet to sign thanks
Just like: Cevron Corner West Auckland in New Lynn. Good hide. Tftc. Log is useless.
Nice and easy to pull in and find and a classic hide type, though the log was REALLY wet here and I had nothing to help with.
With a free weekend stretching before me like a free thing I needed to come up with a plan as to what I would do with the available caching time. I decided upon a Friday trip to Piha, Saturday a trip out to Waitawa Regional Park and Clevedon and Sunday will be Orewa and Millwater. No real goals, just find some caches and enjoy the weather.
I left work a little early so as to beat the traffic through the main busy bits, and I was successful thankfully. I managed a few caches and it was lovely and quiet everywhere before the weekend warms up with people everywhere.

In the area of West Auckland after Oratia Stream CITO. Very handy and well placed park and grab. Log soaked wet. Thanks anyway! (づ◔ ͜ʖ◔)づ
Here with D10A10N and superwhirlpool but couldn't find it.
Live nearby so could replace sometime if needed...

We were thinking where it could be looked around all objects that could fit the hint description but no luck. Then we started with the first object we inspected and there it was. TFTC
Did a little caching after having visited a very nice X-Mas party. This was our sixth find for today. Very smart and creative hide this one, it gave us a hard time, too. We went up and down the suspicious items and read the previous logs. "Spot the difference" was a good and helpful hint, but it still took us some time to figure it out. Pyphant succeded, since he is the tallest of our group... We were definitely crowned with success today, since we found a 100 % of the caches we had planned. Yippie!
Found together with Pyphant and Greenkiwikids and signed as team Piraten. Tftc.

During our holidays in New Zealand, we spent a couple of days in Northland with program sightseeing, gastronomy and, of course, Geocaching!
So, we took the time to visit a few Caches, to remove some green, orange or blue dots on our map.
We will distribute favorite points according to our mood and caches met.
Thank you to all Owners for the installation of these boxes and for their maintenance.
A nice place for a box!

A very nice cache, and plenty of parking here allowing for a safe park and grab. Had an idea re the hint, and first checked one way, before thinking what about that, which proved correct, TFTC
Out and about in rural west Auckland today, enjoying a drive in the country. A splendid day, weather wise, to be hunting down hides. I parked up In the ample parking area near GZ and got to searching. Missed the hide on the first pass. I tried another spot before returning to the first area and finding the nicely camoed cache on the second pass. Cheers for the cache placement!
Approached the site from the wrong end, on return from Bethells, albeit safely! Had a fair idea what it would be, and found the cache relatively quickly. May not be a difficulty 1.0 if you haven't found this type of cache though! Cache is in good condition. TFTC
Second to last cache for the day, just as well as the rain was starting and it was getting cooler. The name and clue gave the hide away so after signing the log I was back in the warm dry car.
Our teams first find took us a while about to give up & leave when my husband found it
I have set myself a challenge for this year to have at least the same number of caches on each day of my calender as the number of years I have been caching.
Today the target is four. The last for the day before heading back for a family lunch.
Cheers for the cache.

As there is now a Rahui over the Waitakeres I decided to grab a few road side caches. I almost parked close enough to be able to lean out the window and grab it TFTC!
Trying to retrieve this one in between traffic was a challenge. We eventually grabbed it between a gap of motorcar silence. Tftc f/p
Nice quick PnG here this morning at the second pointy end I looked at. TFTC and nice work on the camo.
3116 The day after the Blues beat the British Lions and had the day to do some caching before returning to Hamilton. Was after some old caches in the area so collected a few in between. Was coming back from the west and thankfully no traffic so I was able to easily pull across into the parking area. Walked up and down a couple of times before I made the find. Nice hide. Thanks for the placement.
#30 easy once you've found it! It took me a little bit of walking back and forward till I cottoned on to the fact something was different... cache and log in good nick, TFTC!
Went to what looks like the obvious pointy end but realised was the pointy end. Nice find
Great spot - wrong pointy thing at first but one's like this are the best, tftc
I drove to the pointy end of Scenic Drive and parked right beside the Pointy End cache. After waiting for some cars to pass by I quickly grabbed the cache and signed the log and had it back hidden before the next car came along.
Quick fun find after having collected a few caches nearby in Goldies Bush. *TFTC funkymunkyzone, #9282*
Found this cache today together with SpookyEyes on our way back to the south. After a short search we could spot the container. Thank you for placing this cache.

Found this one together with looki on our way down from the north with our campervan. This was the last one before Piha. Nice hideout!

Parked nearby, went to the wrong pointy one first, then went to the pointy one by the car, and there it was Thanks for the hide!
Out picking up some caches along the Scenic Drive. Its been a long time since I have been along here. Nice quiet weekday.
Been past a few times but always from the south, made a point of approaching from the north today.

#2444. I was spending the week out in west Auckland doing some work at my study site. But also had a few dot days in early July so needed to get some geocaches each day. Fortunately I had a rental car this trip so was able to spend a couple of hours each day picking up some nearby caches. Today it was showery in the morning so headed off to do a few caches before lunch so I could spend the fine afternoon back at work on my research project. Decided after doing one hill climb that I would pick up a couple of roadside caches for a change. Managed to pull in successfully in the layby while heading downhill. Soon as I saw the GZ I guessed where the cache would be hidden. However the likely hiding spot didn't budge at first so I went back to the car to read a few logs. Thought it must be hidden there so went back again and was a bit more persistent and this time I had the cache in hand. All dry inside the container. Signed the log and returned the cache during a break in the traffic. Thanks for hiding it here.
Out for a bit of fresh air after a wet and rainy day yesterday for a morning of caching. The weather was breaking and looking foul again as the morning ended and we were heading for home when we saw this on our route so swung by for a quick park and grab.
All 3 of the team got straight to the point but only one of us came up trumphs! A very speedy retrieval. Cache all good, nice camo. TFTC
Nice quick find on a visit to Auckland. Had my grandson with him who loved the clever hide. TFTC
Very good find today while geocaching around the area.
Nice hide here - took a couple of minutes to find.

Had a good idea of what to do when I hit GZ and with perfect coordinates my first theory proved correct during a break between cars. Took a bit longer to get a break to put the cache back but managed without too much bother and then it was away to the next. TFTC
Out with Vistra finishing up those we could get to from Scenic Drive.
Parked alongside and quickly had the cache in hand. TFTC

Yorkshirekiwi83 and I went out for a few hours this afternoon to clean up some more West Auckland caches. While finishing off the Scenic Drive caches, we made a quick find of this nicely hidden cache. TFTC!

Out and about with Team Welsh to grab the SD series (and any other cache that we passed) along Scenic Drive. A dose of the flu meant that the plan was to do the drivebys and leave the walking for another day. Started at the end and went to the beginning. Grabbed this one on the way. Thanks.
Had arranged to met up with Trout-fly today to pick up as many drive by caches as we could. Had a great time finding 35/35 for the day, Soon spotted the pointy end and a nice quick cache. Thanks
Today Mrs Biggles and I decided to drive from one end of the Scenic Drive to the other. it's been a few years since either of us did that. We managed to find a few caches along the way. Found this cache in the second place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Nice and easy cache to tick off another for my 31 days. Am heading that way for a bush walk
This one was an easy find for us as we have grabbed similar one from the same CO before. TFTC
This certainly does look like the Pointy End of Scenic Drive. Parked and found the cache in the first place I looked, even if it was at the second time of looking Sat in the car to sign the log, then had to wait 5 minutes while the driver of another car talked on her phone very close to GZ. TFTC.
Needed to fill in a day on the calendar and hoping to make this my best month ever so set off on a road trip along the Scenic Drive. Had to wait a while for this one as there was a muggle and his dog waiting for a ride, eventually he got picked up and I grabbed the cache. TFTC
Recognised the hint and the cache was quickly found. Good to have easy ones when its raining nonstop.Tftc
Thought port and starboard may have been involved, but, no, we soon had it all sorted and shipshape. Tftc
I was home catching up with stuff today. I was logging some caches from yesterdays caching at Long Bay when I see this alert come through!! Right, the logging can wait, gotta go and catch me a cache. Got to the pointy end of Scenic Dr ready for anything. I don't see anyone here so things are looking good! Soon found something that looks suspicious and sure enough I have the cache in hand and put away. Just logging this now then witchegurl shows up. Nice to see you.

Just about finished off my journey along scenic dr and remembered this one had been released earlier today. parked up and made a quick grab. appeared to be 3rd to find this one! TFTC
2nd to find. Thats not to bad! Haha thanks for the cache! And congrats to gorby for FTF! I've found a few caches hidden this way so it was obvious to me pretty quickly
