This was our last find of the day after a nice walk along Upper Harbour Drive picking up caches along the way. What an interesting and unusually placed bridge, definitely a great place for a cache. We had the area to ourselves and after a brief crawl spotted the cache.Aside from the fabric around the container coming a bit loose the cache is in great condition and has lasted well here over the years. After a short rest we began the long walk back down the road to our car. Thanks supernannny for a nice cache to end our afternoon adventure.
Easter day out caching walking along this trail. Found after a quick search. TFTC
Out for a lovely day caching with Lycurgon, Anastriel and Small Pooka for Easter Monday! TFTC Signed as LARPS
Tried again and found it this time! We were about to give up when one of the kids spotted it! Great cache.
**19,493**This definitely was at a strange bridge, great that it is there though, because it works completely satisfactorily as a cache holder so we cant argue with that. Cache also definitely still there. TFTC
It's still early but had to stop my hunt for this hide several times while people walked or cycled by. Eventually found it though. Indeed a strange bridge. Thanks for the hide supernanny! Walking the road while GAR is busy helping out at the nearby dog agility event and only my second caching outing this year!
My second cache of the day, out trying to get Signal out of the labyrinth. There were no muggles around which made for reasonably easy grab.
It all seems in good nick and the bridge was cool. Watched a tiny digger drive past whilst logging. Tftc #1506

Made a hard job of finding this one! Literally the last place i hadnt looked. Tis indeed a strange bridge, but wonderful place for a cache. TFTC
M24: no muggles around so I was able to take my time finding this one, which didn't take too long at all, which is good.
Nice and easy cache to find while wandering the trail. TFTC.

Quiet here today so no problems being on my hands and knees and looking suspicious. Tftc
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache.
I'm in Auckland and I am exploring the region while I am based here. Today was a dry day, overcast but dry. I borrowed by bro's bike and cruised around the place. I had a great time.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Decided to try to get all those along that road over the next few days. Did 3 today. Pretty easy find although I felt like I would get muggled at any moment. TFTC
Took us quite awhile but we still new and learning. Kids very excited to trade so we had to go and get some items to swap. Thanks very much for this cool cache and the longer you look the more rewarding it is so we feel really enjoyed this one. Thanks so much
Nice easy find! What a strange bridge though! There's really know point in it! Very busy highway in front with motorbikes roaring past. TFTC
Some dogs just across the way were clearly excited to be stood on the trampoline and made sure they let me know they were there. So did a cyclist who suddenly appeared and startled me!

Another assault upon the Magnetic Road series which, as it turned out, was a series to be repeated up the road a ways at Puzzle Highway, lol. Anyway, I started this series last December and wanted to do as much as I could on foot this afternoon. Parked in a side road just by as far as I got last time and carried on. Not disappointed and a range of cache finds ensued. T F T C to all COs who placed caches.

A definitely strange place, it would definitely cost quite a bit to build that. Night time caching, quickly spotted as there weren't too many people around GZ, TFTC
Another good cache found today with woolwood9
We enjoyed walking / driving around the area
*Thanks for putting out this container for us to find!*

Magnetic Road geocaching El Dorado bike trip to grab all placements here. Great road to test my recently fixed hydraulic brakes. As lack of parking spots around GZs using bicycle is the way to go! .... Took a while and I had to use my torch. But no worries. All good here. TFTC
Nice hide! Spent a while looking then looked to the comments to help me out to find it. Bridge seems to serve no purpose except for looks lol. Tftc
A strange bridge indeed! Fourth find for the new year, out and about this afternoon practicing writing the new year in logs. Cache was in the second place I looked/felt so a nice and easy find here. TFTC!
Had a look, with a glove, but no luck for me, maybe next person has more luck, thanks t the search anyway,
Out collecting caches towards the mystery at the museum challenge.Driving around and waiting for the rain to stop we noticed this one was close by.Loved the bridge not often a a street has one of these.
For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 8 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more I decided that there were just over the required number along the old Upper Harbour Drive.
Dead Totara leaves lying on the ground are sharp.
Cheers for the cache.

Interesting and strange bridge for sure! Thanks to the hint, the cache was found in the first place we looked. TFTC Supernanny
Finally getting round to logging these. Michaelteacher, mee_mi and I decided to do an afternoon of caching together so headed out to Greenhithe. Lovely weather it was!
Spotted something out of the corner of my eye but left the retrieval to mee_mi as she had the gloves! Michaelteacher and I should really get some. Cool little bridge, but completely pointless? Tftc

I spent a bit too long trying to figure out what the point of this bridge is. It looks nice and quaint at least. We've looked for many caches like this, but if someone has gloves, it makes it unnecessary for me to do things I don't like doing. Thanks!
With the Metservice informing us we were due for a sunny Saturday, hayleyfcy, michaelteacher and I decided to turn a couple of North Shore caches into smilies. After meeting nearby in Glenfield, we decided to do a bit of a loop through Greenhithe.
What a cute little spot, and super 'clean' in comparison to similar hides we've all hunted before. michaelteacher thought he'd spotted something of interest, so in I went with gloved hand and came up with the cache. Very busy little spot today, as the three of us tried to blend with the scenery whilst completing the admin TFTC

Another chance to work my way continued on what I didn't clear off from last weekends trip. So once again an early start to the day followed by lots of laughter and fun while hunting for caches in the "Burbs" that really is Auckland.
An early start one again at "oh my god o'clock" which had me starting caching for the start of the day in the day. For the remainder of the day I was in the company of Alpenmilch80 for more laughter and fun as we worked our way through the area. So much nicer to be caching in fine weather after all the recent rain over the last few weeks. Logs signed as "APCD" (or some such varient) to conserve log space
For the day managed fifty two and three DNF's so all in all not too bad and home by 2.30pm
Yes it is, A80 soon had her hands on this one, assisted by a bit of crafty parking
Thank you to all the cache owners who put in the effort for the game to keep us thinking about what is coming next.
thank you for the placement, thank you for the cache

After getting some Brezels at the German bakery in Glenfield I was collected by C&D for some geocaching in the area. After the sun came out to play nicely we enjoyed the muggle free early morning hours for our hunting. TFTC
Todays mission 10 cache finds to get the next hidden creature. A bit rainy today, and already too wet at some locations. This one took quite a while to locate. SL. TFTC.
Last one of the day for me and after an initial little scramble I couldn't find anything in the more obvious looking places, a quick read through the logs and I nailed down my search area and soon had the cache in hand. Had to watch out for what was left of a poor old bird, but no dramas otherwise. TFTC
Today was a lovely winters day, so after a hearty cooked breakfast we decided to head out for some caching on the shore. Miss NZT joined us for part of the day for a rare full compliment of the NZTravellers team! Had an enjoyable day, accompanied by HelloBird1e. Many thanks to all the cache owners for their great hides!
A bit of rubbish and a dead bird at GZ. But made the find pretty quickly before some joggers passed by and wondered why a grown woman was on her knees looking under the bridge! TFTC!

Out for another day caching to reach 500 points, nearly there. Found in the first place, signed and grabbed TB to move along, thanks
Found. And discovered our first trackable. left it this time as we didn't know the rules yet! Cool find. TFTC.
We finally made the effort to grab this one which we pass every day walking our dog. Wasn't too hard to find, just needed to remember to grab it. The bridge has been great, it was a bit unnerving having to go around the garden onto the road. Thanks for the cache!
Miss Four and I made a quick stop here after her Saturday morning swimming lesson down the road. Thanks!
I tried looking for this once before but was foiled by a lot of work happening in the area. It was all quiet today so I had no problem crawling around on my hands and knees for a few minutes before spying the cache
This Cache was in some parts tricky to find. We found it after a few minutes of crawling around on the dirt.
A nice easy find with harisree tonight in the cold. Funny when some ppl drove past and paused like they were going to talk to us. Tftc
FITW FMZ
Out on a late night caching adventure, helping FMZ to make some numbers before he fly out. This was a very easy and straight forward find with the help of the hint. tftc.

#139 out and about picking up a couple of park and grabs while I could. Bridge stuck out like a sore thumb, interesting little feature! Reasonably quiet area so didn't have to worry too much about looking like a goose on my hands and knees. Spotted the cache quickly but took a wee while to work out how to grab it. Signed the log, cache is in great nick, TFTC!
Out picking up a puzzle final with the CO, she needed to check it and I needed to find it so win, win. Indeed a strange bridge, amazing what you find when you are out and about. TFTC
Was on my way back from logging a couple of puzzle caches on the Shore and remembered this wee cache so stopped in for a quick PnG. Nicely hidden. TFTC
I popped out for a couple of hours to check on a G2 hide while he is laid up. That taken care of I found myself with time for a spot of finding. I parked up near GZ and got to looking. It's a bit uncomfortable kneeling down on the totara leaves. The things we do for a smiley. Spotted after a couple of minutes of grovelling and neck twisting. Yes, this is a perfectly good bridge in a strange location. Cheers for the cache placement!
Didn't find this when I first looked in April last year, but found quickly when finally got around to revisiting today. TFTC SuperNanny!!
Thought we might just try to finde all the caches down the Upper Harbour Drive. We were pretty successfull and pleased about the easy findings. TFTC
We thought Emily lane side was the side with the sign... hahaha well after a bit of crawling we found the cache :p
On a roll this evening. Quite a dedicated effort getting this one in such wet weather. Thanks
It is indeed a strange bridge makes no sense. However the cache was quickly found
Yes it did indeed seem a strange place to put such a well constructed bridge. I'm glad you thought so too supernanny and made a cache here for us. I did wonder if it was for wheelchairs as it made the path flat which would really help them get across this road. Easily found. Thanks for the cache
Cool spot, nice easy parking just off the main road. Didn't take to long to come up with a smile here. TFTC
