I came, I played, and found out that Synchronized Sudoku is my thing Big Grin.

Had a good time, so many people, sausage sizzle, many events to keep us entertained, the time just flew by.

Thanks for all your effort to organise Freddo [^] Hope this one becomes a regular.

14-Aug-16
Enjoyed catching up with everyone again and scoring a podium spot on the synchronised Sudoku. Also enjoyed all the Pickachus about : )

I came. I pulled on the rope. I jumped over the log. I threw the (strange looking) GPS. I stacked the containers. I found some caches. I wasn't first at any of them. I ate a chocolate frog. With 7 Geosportz finds, today was a very olympic themed day!
Thanks Freddo for the event!

After a morning of having the scooby kids competing at World Cheerleading comp.. it was time for the scooby adults to attempt some competition of their own.
Arrived to the event in full swing and the competitors keen and eager to show their stuff.
A few events in.. with mr and mrs scooby competing more against themselves than anyone else!
Things were looking great for team scoobster.. they had the highest rate for the tug a war, discus and a solid silver for the cache stacking.. when the event of the moment - the log jump was in full swing...
Mr scoobster took a massive jump.. (over 3 meters).. and took a solid landing... forward roll.. into a crouch .. to leap up with a victory shout!
Sadly it was at that point his performance enhancing insulin delivery system had broken... alarms bells went off.. and the reality of his caching olympic dreams went out the window Sad
Home and safe... he dreamt of all that could have been.. all that was.. and all that he will pretend!

Great event. Novel idea. Loved it!

Although we arrived late, we did enjoy the games that we played. Great fun! Thanks for carrying on the Geo-olympic Geo-spirit!

14-Aug-16
Thanks for an awesome event

14-Aug-16
Managed to attend for a couple of hours before having to retreat for Feetlet to have a nap. Still managed to compete in a few events, pic of Mr FF's log jump effort is attached. Lovely spot for an event, thankyou Freddo.

14-Aug-16
A very nice afternoon as it turns out, and I completed all the tasks.

14-Aug-16
Came, played games, hit AnyMules (oops sorry ??), ate frogs and sausages, casually walked to three new caches, chatted and chatted some more. Thanks for the fun event Freddo

14-Aug-16
Had a great day out in the park with geokids
One of whom was really interested in pedal prix bikes going around the track

14-Aug-16
Was great to meet so many other cache crazy people. Had a great day and look forward to more events.

Attended, for about one hour.

I finished my job at 2pm, had some lunch, and rushed to GZ. Unfortunately I missed most of the event, but at least I talked to some cachers, heard some stories, discovered some TBs...

Signed the log.

Thanks for the event, Freddo.

14-Aug-16
2/3 pirates attended whilst one was working at the Uni open day. A great event, lots of fun and good to catch up with old and new faces. We even won a medal and a chocolate frog despite our average performance in the events. Thanks Freddo for organising a fun afternoon.

14-Aug-16
A great day in the park. 10 tasks for the eventers. 9/10 tasks were under control. I am still trying to work out what Micro Marathon Leap Frog actually means. I have four more years to get it right.
1.-FTF dash over 50m, which may include no holds barred mud wrestling. No mud today.
2.-Tug of war, Cacher v The Load Cell. Some impressive work on a slippery surface.
3.-5kg GPS put. So hard throw that lump.
4.-Cache stacking. The container voted hardest to stack if the wind is blowing.
5.-Finish Skattles. Who knew there was a speed version of Finska?
6.-Nearest the coordinates. s34 55.938 e138 37.294 was the final answer.
7.-Victoria Park Cache Race. Run Forrest Run.
8.-Synchronized Sudoku Solving. The world's easiest Sudoku?
9.-Micro Marathon Leap Frog. TBA.
10.-Log jump. See Frozen Feet log.
Marvellous to see the competitive edge of the eventers. Of course everyone won gold and a Freddo frog. Cue national anthem.
Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie. Oi Oi Oi.

Oh you are just sooooooooooo AWESOME Freddo the Leaping Frog. what a BRILLANT event you hosted!!! [^]

The various activities you setup were spectacular.

The competition was fierce between geocachers Wink, yet the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly - such a fun time filled with lots of laughter.

Once again a lovely way to catch up with friends and enjoy the fresh air - we even got to watch some pedal prix!

Thanks Monty! Smile

A cardinal rule of competition is never to eat something "harmless" that has been given to you at an Olympic event.

Apparently ASADA wants to know if anyone has any left over "chocolate" frogs for them to test?

Anyway we do hope that none of the competitors were affected by performance enhancing agents. Although the fact that at least one competitor got to the finish of an event before the starter's gun has fired has to be regarded as highly suggestive.

Fortunately we are in the clear as Brad was held up at work until after the main events had been run. And Janet was busy elsewhere.

Who knows, after all the investigations have been completed, our various "late in the day" logs may move up onto the podium Smile

14-Aug-16
Managed to arrive late enough to miss anything more energetic than a casual walk to the three new caches.
Thanks for another well co-ordinated event Freddo

14-Aug-16
Came along not intending to compete, only to participate in every activity! Had a ball, thanks Freddo! Cool

14-Aug-16
In town for the weekend to attend a couple of events on Saturday and Sunday...and to do a few caches as well! After checking out of our motel and having a great brekkie at Milkohlics, we found a few caches on our way to this one. What a great, fun event! Had a ball taking photo's and video wth the drone, and trying a few of the events! TFTE Freddo!

14-Aug-16
Unfortunately due to other commitments that I just could not get out of, I was only able to spend about 45 mins at the event today, and competition was certainly out of the question after falling on hard rock yesterday, even if I was able to stay. But I managed to catch up with a few people before I had to leave. I hope those choosing to take part in the sporting endevours were humble in geovictory and gracious in geodefeat.

This was find number 1 of 2 for the day for me. TFTC Freddo!

14-Aug-16
Brodie, muggle partner and I attended the Decachelon event and while there, we found 3 newly published caches... along with every other attendee at the event Wink

This was a very interesting Geolympix with all sorts of sports events to be played Cool, chocolate frogs to be eaten Smile, pedal prix vehicles falling over behind us Surprised and sunshine and blue skies [^]
Caught up with some great people and even got to see a rider on a strange one wheeled contraption Wink
Had lots of fun watching the 'games' Big Grin
Then we headed off to Para Wirra to get a multi for the GC mission souvenir. [^]

TFTE Freddo Smile

14-Aug-16

14-Aug-16

13-Aug-16
Hope to get there before stumps but after all the energetic stuff has finished.

Unfortunately we have another "thing" on in the morning which will mean that we will get to this event late, but we will be there.

13-Aug-16
I'll finish my job at 2pm, and try to be there before 3pm.

13-Aug-16
Unfortunately cant get there...

13-Aug-16
I convinced the family to make a day of it, so Skybird3, myself with muggle partner and geodog will be present!

12-Aug-16
Will hopefully be there for the opening ceremony

11-Aug-16
The weatherman has spoken and it should be a fine day on Sunday. Freddo will have tongs, a couple of dozen sausages, sliced bread and sauce as an offering to the gods Bar Bee & Que.

11-Aug-16
Seems likely that I'll make it to this one.

11-Aug-16
I will be there. Geosportz will happen afterwards...

For anyone coming from the north: several of the roads in North Adelaide will be closed on Sunday morning (someone's running a marathon apparently). It is also university open day so there will be a lot of traffic about on the few remaining open roads.

11-Aug-16
I can't make it unfortunately. We are heading north to see my parents for the day. Sounds like fun though - I hope the weather is good and you all have a blast.

11-Aug-16
We will hopefully be able to make it!

10-Aug-16
Scoobsters will try and get there (even if it's just Mr Scoobster).... but both scooby kids are competing at Cheerleading comps that day.. if results and presentations are done in time.. we might be able to catch the tail end of this event. Sounds like a heap of fun !

09-Aug-16
Should be able to wander by!!

09-Aug-16
Should be there and most likely carrying MR3lg on my back Wink

08-Aug-16
While I'm not particularly athletic, this looks heaps of fun. At this stage I should be there, unless disaster happens at a morning jaunt Smile

08-Aug-16
May or may not be there depending on if geokids are interested

07-Aug-16
Starting the day off with a 5* hill climb [:0] and will need these next 4hrs to recuperate. All spare energy will be used to cheer on the competitors Smile

25-Jul-16
Hmmm..two Cats will attend, but as you know Cats don't like water...or dirt mixed with water....

20-Jul-16
Fingers crossed, I'll be there to watch the real athletes competing Smile

19-Jul-16
Back in SA so looking forward to attending a few events before heading off again.

13-Jul-16
Who would give up the opportunity to partake in some mud wrestling... will be there!

07-Jul-16
I will be there to compete poorly. As long as I don't carry away the wooden spoon I'll be happy.

06-Jul-16
Has Freddo seen the light? Is he secretly promoting GeosportZ 2016 here? [http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/game/geosportz2016](http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/game/geosportz2016)
