I think there might have been a change in this area. Have message co to check.
Having found the clever hide, we checked everywhere, but the log sheet is missing.
We have added another in a clip lock bag.
Good to go again.
Clever! One of a kind, we think!
Thanks Davidnarelle

Found at 1:05:00 PM(t) GAFF1.
When we started looking we thought we knew what to look for and where due to the "size" given on the cache page, but we couldn't find anything and then by looking at a slightly different location - there it was - haven't seen one like that before.
Thanks DavidNarelle.

Clever play on words here. Nice quick find on what could have taken quite some time. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
A fun find here by the highway
I was wise to the ways of the hider,

Left Cunnamulla after QOGM 2021 heading to Sth Australia, stopped in Mount Isa for a little spell and to catch up with new friends drrnrchr and attack all the caches here. Then WA then back to Cairns June 2022. 12 October 2021 3:20 pm Tyfc Davidnarelle total caches now 2784
Our plan today was to pop down to Mary Kathleen to perform a maintenance check on our cache there. Of course we also had to log all the other caches along our route as well.
Fav point given for the sneaky hide.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container is in good shape. We replaced the log sheet.

Day 4 of 8 (Cloncurry-Mt Isa-Cloncurry) of a Queenslander road trip with Kestal, clocking just over 4000km, to tick off boxes for different challenges. Stopping to make up a few numbers for Kestal’s imminent milestone. Squeezed our names in a gap. A fun find. TFTC Davidnarelle
Day 4 of our tour around Queensland saw Eskies5 and myself venture to Mt Isa and back to Cloncurry. It was milestone day and a few caches needed to be gathered to hit the right target.
Arriving at Mt Isa we stopped off at this one. A great hide was found here. TFTC Davidnarelle

Heading out of Mount Isa towards Hughenden today and stopped to grab some caches along the way and this was one of them. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand.
Nice hide.
The log is full but I managed to find a spot and once signed all was returned as found.

This is a very clever cache. Once I had found it I understood the title. Great camo and great fun to do, as it made me think.
This is a cool container! Pity the area is strewn with rubbish, and we were wondering if any of the truckies took notice of us.
It's a spidery haven, we just did not take any photos as we tried to get away ASAP.

Nicely hidden but easily spotted by me.
Log is filling up fast and about 10 spots left on the log for newcomers.
Cache is in pretty good condition.

Three weeks ago I decided to take a break from cold Adelaide and head north to warmer climes for a month or so. The (loose) plan was to travel on my own up to Innamincka then into western and central Queensland, camping along the way. Where I go and how far north I get would depend on how distracted I get and how hot it gets.
I’ve made it to Mount Isa, but I think I’ve probably reached my northern limit for this year. Camping out in the swag in this weather starts to get a bit exhausting after a while, although the mornings are fantastic!
This morning I had a look around Mount Isa and surrounds and found some interesting caches. The afternoon was spent trying to catch up on some logs and preparing for the next leg of my trip.
This was a quick park and grab, so to speak.
Thanks DavidNarelle for the cache.

Day 350 this day saw us on the road again as we travelled from Mt Isa to Cloncurry just down the road along the way we had a find and a DNF.
This was an interesting find as the previous searchers had not found it and made it seem that it had gone however after looking and looking in the wrong spots and a reread of the cache it was realised that the name was more than just the name of the cache and we soon signed the log.
Thanks for the cache Davidnarelle and you have made it very challenging to be in the area with some great finds and some not so great DNFs.

Didn’t find. But we didn’t continue after we found used needles... Be careful there’s used needles
Be carful there’s used needles in this area!!! And long grass so hard to see them lucky I seen them and we didn’t stand on one! Got out of there!
Found on our 2018 mega trip with Roostaman.

Another perfect Winter day for a trip around while staying at Isa for a few days.

Continuing our trip through Outback Queensland, grabbing caches along the way. TFTC.
Loved this one in plain sight.

Bought a bit of rite in the rain paper, no scissors just a knife to try cut to shape.
Last day here and decided some caches were in order headed here first and it all made sense when approaching gz. Very clever tftc
Headed into Mt Isa this morning to do some necessary shopping, as well as picking up some caches while we were there. We just did a selection and each cache found had our name added to its log before we moved on.
The log for this one is full and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. As have others before us, we wrote our name on the attachment tape as there was no room anywhere else.
Thanks to Davidnarelle for placing so many caches to be found in and around the Mt Isa area.

We have been spending a few days in Mount Isa and for our last full day decided to take a drive to the old Mary Kathleen mine site and the Ballara Heritage mining trail. Of course we hoped to nab a few caches on the way
This was our first find for the day. As many have said before us the log is chockers. We hunted high and low in our geo gear hoping to find a waterproof log to replace the full one but it looks like we used our last one a while back. Like the previous finder we left our mark on the duct tape. Hopefully a future finder will have some ‘write in the rain’ paper they can replace the log with

Well after nearly 10 days of no sun and rain it was time to get out and about and knock over a couple more local caches. TFTC TNLN
Love these style of caches!
NOTE - the log is completely full and requires replacement with something suitable - i had to write on the duct tape holding the log in place!

Log is chokers. I'm here for a few days to replace for you if need be, but it won't be as good as that one I'm guessing.
Decided to take off for a couple of hours, leaving Pa to finish the washing. Planned a little circuit around town and managed to find them all as well as a couple of extras. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches. It was an interesting and very informative trip through Mt Isa.
This was cache #2 and one of the extras. Love your caches DavidNarelle. Another quick find, sign and return.

Having plan 372 collapse on us when a friend we were supposed to meet in Mt Isa decided that they were now coming through Cloncurry so we booked another night in the caravan park and ventured out towards Mt Isa picking up a few caches as we went.
There were muggles parked here as we were heading in towards town so we just went straight passed, coming back out this afternoon we were happy to see the area empty so we pulled up and the cache was found relatively quickly which we were quite happy considering and now we understand the cache name as well.
We added our name to the log, using the last available space so a new log will be required.
Thanks for the cache Davidnarelle.

Hi there Davidnarelle - today was our first full day in Mt Isa, so after a late start we visited the Tourist Center then looked for a few caches on the way back to the caravan. The cache and log are in good condition - SL. This is our find #4915 - thanks to Davidnarelle for this cache.
Found on a one month road trip around Australia. Muggle nomads having lunch close by, too interested in their sandwiches to notice me. TNLNSL TFTC

It has been very enjoyable caching here in your town.
I could see this as we pulled up, but hubby started by looking else where.
Thanks for placing this cache DavidNarelle

Alice trip 2017. Day 24. Today Sol de Lune, Luckyl10n, Fitzy_1965 and I spent the morning caching around Mt Isa then started driving east, visiting Cloncurry and finishing quite late in Winton. After getting plenty of the town caches it was time to get on the road.
Thanks.

#7218 - 10:45; Day 26 of the Alice Mega Road Trip with Sol de lune, albida33 and fitzy_1965, so signing logs as A.L.F.S. After attending the Red Centre Experience event in Alice Springs and then heading north to Darwin, we are now headed for home. We reached Queensland yesterday and after overnighting in Mt Isa, we collected a few more around the city before hitting the road and heading for our next overnight stop in Winton via Mary Kathleen, Cloncurry and McKinlay. Most of the caches we located were in good order, including this one which we grabbed as we left town. TFTC DavidNarelle
13679. Next find of Day 16 of the Red Centre Experience Roadtrip. Heading South East into QLD.
I flew into Alice Springs to meet up with my caching mates Sol de Lune, Albida33 and LuckyL10n (signing mostly as ALFS) to attend the Red Centre Experience and then venture up north to Darwin and then east into Qld before heading south for home - a three week caching trek.
Next stop for the day. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
TNLN - TFTC !! Second find like this here in Mt Isa - enjoyed them both ! FP !

Out around Mt Isa today and this was one of the caches we found. Thanks to DavidNarelle for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area. This one gets a fav point - very nicely done.
Heading back down the track and towards home with fitzy_1965, LuckyL10n and albida and we were heading from Mt Isa towards Barcaldine. Grabbed a good number of caches along the way, with the oddDNF thrown in. A couple of days of fun caching. Most logs were signed ALFS to save space on the logs.....
Thanks to all the caches owners for the caches and the fun in grabbing them.

Found this morning. It took us a while and all the time it was right in front of us.
Found at 0921. Found while have few days off from our travels to Alice. I suffered Cache blindness for awhile and the boos had to point out the rather obvious from the car. TFTC.
