Thanks for starting our day great on our return trip to Perth! Happy to be out of geraldton tough caching zone!
Heading home after the annual camping trip to Gnaraloo Station, overnighted at Galena Bridge, and then took the opportunity to stop off here during the final drive back to Perth. Easy to park up and an even easier find in the first place I looked A perfect little cache & dash No problems here today - TFTC

Cheers Miss-Placed!
Cheers Miss-Placed!
After a week in Perth it is time to head up the coast grabbing caches along the way TFTC
Yay, a nice easy find. I love a challenge, but itβs nice to find a quick one every now and then. TFTC
Hi there Miss-Placed. While out on the road today we found this cache after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to Miss-Placed for this cache - our find 7980
A quick find of the original cache.
TFTC Miss-Placed & Gabs1963 this is find # 7406 for us.

Out with JAM1511 on International Geocaching Day so thought what better to do than a bit of Geocaching. Thanks for your efforts.
Be wary the killer ants that go bonkers when you pull the cache out of their home
The keeps of the cache were out in force today but quick find for us today! Signed B+GFTB

Driving by and heading south, we stopped to pick this cache up. Unable to do the whole series as we are towing a van, but will be back sometime soon for more caching in the Geraldton area. Nice hide TFTC
On our way to our second IGD Event in Geraldton. Really looking forward to it, the weather is just about perfect too. TFTC Miss-Placed & Gabs 1963
After caching solo round Geraldton for the past week we met up with Squash2 to head out of town a bit and search for a few caches neither of us had found previously.
It was a bit of a disappointment to come to the last cache in the series. The hides had varied in both size and style and we had been enjoying ourselves.
This was a nice quick find.
Thank you for a great series. Most enjoyable.

Nearly gave up but then found it! Yay! Near our grandmas house so we were very happy to find it! Thank you!
Only gave this cache 5 minutes since we were headed home and that wasn't enough time to find it. TFTC, though
We decided to have a go at this series and we found the majority, but some managed to elude us. Maybe next time! This cache was in the obvious place and so was very quickly found. Our name was added to the list as being finders and then we were on to make the next find. Thanks to Miss-Placed & Gabs1963 for this cache.
Unfortunately this cache had indeed gone missing. I have now replaced it and it is ready to go again. Happy Hunting.
Another dnf for the devlin series well thats one found out of the 6 looked for
Stopped at this cache whilst on a roadtrip with Eliktrisiti. We didn't find as many caches in the Geraldton area as we had hoped for, and after being home for a week or so, I have decided that the motto I would adopt for these logs would be this: It isn't the destination that is important, it is the journey!
In a nutshell, we had fun and that is what it is all about. Great company, lots of interesting locations, good variety of caches, even got to meet one of the local geocachers while out and about, and of course, we came home with a whole swag of smileys.
Stopped and gave this one a quick search, but think this one might be like the proverbial needle in a haystack, and so many other caches out there beckoning us to move along. Another time maybe...

We made a start on this series but will have to return to finish it another day. Thanks Miss-Placed
Enjoying the journey with iluvtrekking as we head towards Geraldton. So many great spots to check out along the way. We needed to check into our accommodation but we were determined to grab a few of this series before we headed into town. Thanks Miss-Placed
Headed up to Geraldton for 4 days to try and find as many caches as we could. Its been 6 months since we were last there and there has been so many new caches come out that we will need another trip there to find them all. We ended up finding 215 and about a dozen DNFS. We picked a few up on the way and did a detour on the way home to Mullewa and i must say the wildflowers are beautiful at the moment. We found a great variety of caches including a couple of wherigo,s, lots of field puzzles, multi,s and the highlight for the hubby was doing the chirp cache. I would like to say all caches were found quickly but that definately wasnt the case lol.... There was some very tricky and sneaky hides that took quite a while to find with a few we went back a couple of times to till we found them. We managed to find a few that we previously had DNFS on and it was was great finding a lot of creative cache containers especially some of the field puzzle ones. Thanks to everyone for the caches and hope to find a lot more on our next trip to geraldton....
On the trip home from the now famous annual IGD event in Gero. Myself, Kyzabra, jinta29 and SVKR_WA piled into the Sante Fe with a view to grab the odd smiley here and there along the way. This little series was on the radar as we had heard some good reports and it wasn't too far out the way.
SVKR_WA informed us that this would be his 1500 find so we left him to do the honours and a short time later he had the log book in hand. Congratulations Simon
Miss-Placed I found your cache at 8:06am, this was the 5th of 14 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3426. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

A change of plans due to the rain had taken place, so this series was chosen. First stop here, cache found, all good. TFTC Miss-Placed.
What a grand weekend it has been, thoroughly enjoyed the event yesterday and meeting lots of new faces and teams.
We started at this end and nearly missed this one completely, but I turned Max the GeoUte around while she made the find. Nice to be following some of our Perth cachers signatures.
Thanks for a nice looking series Miss-Placed and this hide.

The IGD Geraldton trip is fast becoming a MUST ATTEND weekend and this was my second trip up. Joining forces with Jinta29, Granett and SVKR_WA, we bundled into the SanteFe and headed up.
After a fantastic weekend, it was a far more leaisurly pace today as we made our way home.
Congrats to svkr_wa on their 1500 at this cache.

tftc miss placed found on the way to the event from Perth. It was a relatively easy find however the solar light on the other side was an easy target first up.
Thought this one could be a bit tricky so close to the busy highway, but a quick find in the obvious place and we were on our way! TFTC!
TFTC! Today was day one of the "boys weekend" with me and Cravo heading up to Geraldton for IGD 2016, my third trip to this great part of our state and johns second. Think we will continue to do this every year? Especially with all of the new caches getting published around town!!
We drove up the coastal route to cleanup the last of what we had left, so that we could concentrate on the various alternate routes on the way home and on our trip to Geraldton and Mullewa next week for the annual Mullewa Gift event.
We picked up a number of new caches along the route and even some that we had missed on previous visits, being in a 4wd this year made it a lot easier to get to some of the hard to reach places that a 2wd would struggle to get to.
We completed a few really nice caches at cliff head including a legendary Liz and Bruce hide and a couple of ten year old caches.
We got to Greeenough and decided to complete the greenough walk trail caches as well as the caches along Delvin road, knowing that we wouldn't be heading back this way on the way home.
The greenough walk trail was great except for getting two flat tyres from some slow leaks that happened to go a bit faster!!
We then moved our attention to the planes series, which was just bliss, chewed through about 25 caches in just over an hour with Cravo and me taking turns at finding the most likely spot for a cache from about two hundred meters away.
We then meandered around town cleaning up a bunch of caches that have either been recently published or we've missed previously. Had a couple of DNFs, nowhere near as many as I famously had last year, but I might have to refresh my notes from some local cache owners who I'm looking forward to meeting at the event tomorow.
Thanks to the local COs for their hospitality so tatami their cool caches.

Headed to Geraldton for the International Geocaching Day event on Saturday 20th August.
Barnzy12 and I packed the car at 6am and headed North. Despite making a critical error by choosing the freeway to start the journey we then made it to Geraldton and checked into the motel by 5.30pm.
We found several caches along the way some new, old and even archived caches. As I missed the event last year I was guided to some others on the map that I hadn't found before and made for some quicker finds yet still enjoyable.
Ended up back at the motel after getting the new plane spotting series and some other caches close to the city centre at around 9pm. Beers were cold and was then time to relax. After a 15 hour day sleep was needed ready for the big day tomorrow.

Hi there Miss-Placed.
We found your cache **"Deceptive Devlin #7" **at 12:08:00 PM today, so this makes our find count 14438.
After completing the Grenough River series we carried on to attempt the Deceptive Devlin caches as well. Many of these caches took us to a wonderful spot next to the river where we could have thrown in a line or had a picnic.
Without Geocaching as our guide we would never have seen so many wonderful places.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where our GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Last time we were in Australia and spend our holiday in the western part of the country β that was fantastic!
We landed in Perth and from this great town we went to the east and the north β we were on the Wave Rock, in Kalgoorlie, in Nambung Nationalpark, on the Hutt Lagoon, in Kalbarri NP and on the Shark Bay.
All the time we visited there the main attractions β but we wanted to do our hobby (geocaching), too.
So we looked for the boxes next to the highways and on all the wonderful places during our tour.
Here we could found the box very well, we say thanks to the owner and thanks for the cache.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about with some of those friends and we targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
Thanks Miss-Placed (F=291 H=25) for placing this cache.

Found along with Maccamob and Micaparamedic on the way north today. The recent rains must be making things look a little different to the usual.
Found by Mary & David, in convoy with Alansee and micaparamedic (logged as ACMPMM), at 1520. Quite a number of roads meet here. Crop looks good, and there has been a lot of rain recently. Our thanks to Miss-Placed.
After yesterday's perfect bike riding weather,
today was shaping up to be a bit showery
Time for a drive and see if I can stay dry on a few short strolls to find caches
No problems here, just a bit cold and windy
Cache found in the first place I looked too [^]

Found on a stormy day, rare for Geraldton. Thanks for the park & grab cache Miss-Placed & Gabs1963
All good things must come to and end. We had a great afternoon on the trail only one DNF, all caches bar this one were spot on with cords. This one was around 5 metres from my GZ but really obvious, OK that's easy to say when you find it where you look isn't it?
Thanks for putting so much thought, time and effort into this great little trail. 10/10
We signed the log TP to save space in the logbook.

Busy doing office work after breaky at the Hamlet when we were interrupted by a ping. Ooh a new cache close to home. Geo Hubby grabbed the ute and I grabbed the GPS and off we went. By the time I began loading coordinates there were 6 more and by now we were at number 7. Had it in hand just as another cacher family drove by onto number 6. We spent the next hour or so leap frogging with them for first to finds. Thanks guys.

Back to the one we had skipped and we had a free GZ to search around. Neat little hide that we are happy to have found easily. TFTC!
