Travelling home after a great trip to Bathurst with Team Crackers, Geoturtle37 & Papi4506.We picked up a few caches along the way. This is one of the caches we stopped at. A quick search and the cache was located, signed and replaced. Many thanks for placing this cache, Joshwa27, for us and others to find.
Reperio 15:36With the weekend free, I grabbed the family and headed over to Cowra for a couple of hours caching. We arrived at GZ and thankfully we picked a good spot to start searching and didnt have to rummage through any of the flora here.Gratias Joshwa27As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

I am heading home from Canberra after seven weeks on the road and am now trying to dodge the rain to get there safely. Decided to do a detour to Orange to see my brother for an overnight stop and am picking up a couple of caches along the way.Thank you, *JOSHWA27*, cache found quickly and is in good condition.
A quick find here, cache is all goodHeaded over to the Capital GeoBash in Canberra, ACT with Freddo over 5 days, travelling through the central part of NSW before caching around the hinterlands. A nice few days over with great weather. Thanks for the cache
We found this cache without any trouble. The trip bit.Easter geocaching festival of twenty twenty four. This time it is the turn of Oz Mega GeoBash MEGA event in the nation's capital. It is time for a road trip across country to Canberra in the Sporty Pajero Sports. Freddo and Gridge98 traveling from Adelaide via a strange inland route that takes in scenic rural locations, dusty roads, punctured tyres, overheating batteries, various tools of the trade, special campgrounds, and lots scope for many many geocaching finds. Along the way we saw running emus, jumping kangaroos, wandering deer, dead foxes, herds of wooly sheep and stray steers.Arriving in Canberra we met our colleagues e.gregory1, featherwaite, team walron, courtney rose, davidwazza, e_smilie, and georode, signing as ABP, plus a huge group of other like minded excited mega geocachers attending event after event, and more events.Day one. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. We are on our way to the Capital Geobash Canberra 2024. Rain and tents arent ideal bedmates so we hotfooted it to Cowra. Weve been here a few days caching and organising for Canberra. Today we are trying to get as many traditionals as we can as we need only 26 more for a challenge cache in Canberra.A quick find. 1/26Thanks Joshwa27 for placing and maintaining this cache.
Avenged our previous DNF by making a quick find todayOur last day in Cowra today , so we are making a final lap of town to collect the last few unfound caches before we do some chores. Thanks for adding to our enjoyment of visiting the area.TFTC
Found in the first place I looked. Wandering around Cowra on a Friday night finding a few caches and getting some steps up after a hearty meal
The second day of our geo adventure holiday, after camping down by the river at Darby Falls, we set off to explore the Cowra region as it is somewhere we have never ventured and with lots of history to explore
Well, this holiday is all about taking the time to see some of the amazing gems that you find while geocaching
At the end of a long day of caching, this was a hunt with torch lights, and thankfully, an easy find

#20949. Day 3 of a short holiday over the border in NSW with Robmc and the geodoggies. Spent the night in Cowra on the banks of the river (in the caravan park) and awoke to a frosty morning that soon turned into a glorious Autumn day. Plenty of caching around town, scenery to admire and Cowra's war history to immerse ourselves in, walks to be had and cycle paths that will encourage us to bring the bikes on our next visit.
Second stop and we searched in the wrong places first before Rob found it fairly obviously and closer to the geochariot than where we started looking.
Thanks Joshwa27

Day three on our short trip north to find some better weather. BettyBoo3747, the geodoggies and I are heading to Cowra and back. Today we are caching around Cowra!.
This must have been a quick hide, as the photo is blurred with the speed!
Thanks, Robmc.

In the area overnight on the way to the Bathurst 12 Hour Race grabbing some caches around town TFTC
Staying in Wyangala for a few days and needed to head into Cowra to replenish supplies and visit family. Couldn't resist the urge to squeeze in a few caches during the visit.
Arrived at location for this cache and commenced the search with the geokids. Internet was a bit sketchy so my gps kept jumping all over the place. That didnt stop the geokids from diving in and searchi g all possible locations.
At last one geokid, mich to the dismay of the other, found the cache. Log signed and returned to its hiding place. Now to do another one, hopefully the other geokid finds it so there is no tears .

Stayed Corowa for two nights and Finding your cache Joshwa27, thank you so much for placing it.
Five pairs of eyes could not spot the cache. Pulled lots of weeds but nothing fits the clue.
First DNF for the day after doing about 10 caches. I'm not a fan of having to dig in gardens and around bushes. Could not spot after a good search. So let the plants to be.
Not really sure if I have found a throw down or not. But I found what looks to be a cache, so its signed and marked off.. thats for the location!
No good. Didn’t have gloves with me so I didn’t want to dig around for a 1.5 difficulty.
We had a good dig around in the garden here as well as weeding the sticky weed away from the planter bed while searching for this micro.
Took awhile but got there in the end.
Thanks Joshwa27 for the sticky placement.

Unfortunately, couldn't find this one.

No luck for us today (but we can see from the logs it was found today by others), so we will make sure we have our glasses on next time we come through.
# 6801 On a trip to Dubbo for a long weekend away from Canberra. It's been a while since I've managed a geo-trip so it's good to be on the road again. It's also very not, days on the mid 30's are hard going. First stop is Cowra, then Canowindra, Moping and Wellington. I returned via Orange and Crookwell for a bit of variety.
Had to dig around a bit to locate this one.
Thanks *JOSHWA27*

I had a DNF of this cache on 01/May/2016. Apparently it was missing and was replaced shortly after my DNF. I returned today to correct that DNF, and after digging deep and my clothes being covered in seeds, I made the find. I tipped water from the cache. Nice to change to . TFTC Joshwa27.
PS. Looking at the log, not all signatures are there, so I am wondering if there are two caches.

After dinner we went for a short walk to pick up a couple of caches. Luckily Mr Winglen put his hands on this one straight away. Thanks for the hide and short stroll.
found on a trip up to Orange, a quick stop en-route.
Cache was a bit exposed so may need to be re-positioned but container all good
thanks

Sticky bushes made the find harder. Brushed off some bugs and found the cache.

Not sure what went wrong, probably the gps as it was all over the place.

It was time to return and try to finish off the remaining TRLT series with Rapidlywild. Probably not the best time to go with rain and snow forecast, but we have never let the weather stop us before. So packed all the winter woollies, thermals, gloves and beanies and off we went.
We nearly got all the elements over the weekend even in one day snow, rain, fog, sun and wind but there was also some pleasant weather thrown in there for good measure. Roads in some places were a little hair raising but the trusty 4WD got us through safe and sound.
With permission from some of the cache owners we replaced saturated logs and on a few occasions caches.
All in all a good and successful long weekend away, lovely looking countryside and views along the way.
Another quick find along our journey.
Thanks for the hide *JOSHWA27* and thanks for another fun filled weekend away RWLD.

Last month, FFLL and I begun the tackle against the TRLT series and managed to get a huge chunk done. Well, we decided we wanted to get it finished so with snow on the forecast, we bit the bullet and packed the thermals and set off to have some fun. We had rain, fog, frost and even snow but it was an awesome weekend for sure We reached out to the cache owners of the ones we had to complete to inform them of our intentions and also advise that we were happy to complete replacement maintenance if required, so we came across a few that after extensive searches, we didnt locate, so we replaced as approved by the CO. A large number of replacement log sheets left along the way also to assist with the caches with soggy log books.
Lots of places visited across the weekend, including lots of old churches and old cemeteries across the land. A quick find in Cowra
Thanks for the hide Joshwa27 And thanks to the FFLL ladies for another fun weekend out and about the TRLT trails and others

Driving through Cowra to find the information required for the Breakout multi, we passed this park and decided to attempt this cache. The GPS was playing up here but luckily it was a quick find. Interesting location along such a steep slope; and an awesome, long view. TFTC Joshwa27!
Found at 2:53 PM GAFF1.
A steep little park that y ou really couldn't play in. A good view of the town though.
Thanks Joshwa27.

Fairly quickly found. Started my public service career here back in '84. Thanks Joshwa.
Found. Was going to leave. TFTC Darwould and Plus Elle from Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
#3709 After the biggest $10 lunch at the RSL, we walked over to this cache. At GZ we found what looked like 2 caches. Signed both and replaced as found. TFTC.
After a DNF a few years back, this could have been a hit or miss cache. Lucky today it wasn’t a miss and what was more surprising was there was another cache very near the first. Signed both logs...tftc
Found this just as light was disappearing. Cute park and quite an interesting location, sandwiched between houses!
Cute little park that we visited at dusk. Caches was nearly lost down a gap filled with unstable natural camo. Tried to reposition a little safer.
Finley to Cowra
A Day on the road , high temperatures & wind that was ferocious. We stopped where suitable with the caravan on.
At Cowra we camped at the showgrounds to find some of the very interesting caches in the area.

12 Nov 2019 & 14 Nov 2019 Caching Trips
With these two days free, I decided on getting back into caching after a recent dry spell (apart from the event I attended on the 9 Nov). On the 12th, I headed for Cowra to start the caches out that way. I visited many monuments which some included: the World Peace Bell, Koorawatha Falls, Wynnefield Memorial and the one of the old Railway Bridges. Most caches were quick finds but a couple ended up with DNF’s or NA’s which was upsetting but hay… you can’t find all caches because you need things to do next time you’re in the area. There were many different types of hides and locations which made it a very enjoyable day out. On the 14th I headed down over the border into Victoria to hit the ‘S’ series trail which has been on the to-find-list for who knows how long now. I headed straight for the far end of the trail to start so I would finish at the closer side to the other caches on the list to find. This ended up being a solved Mystery cache finding day with a couple of Trads along the way. Also while I was in the area I couldn’t say no to visiting, the ‘Ettamogah Pub’ and ‘The Henty Man’. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s
