Having dropped Mrs Msc20 at the airport, I meandered my way back to the Tron picking off a number of nearby caches en route.Muggled here last month. No one waiting today though. Craning my neck, spotting the cache, signing the log.Another smiley for the total! Thanks KirsTim#5478
Mrs NZT and I decided to have a road trip day today. Left home at 6.30am (crazy I know when we are on holiday but then this is holiday enjoyment for us!!!), drove lots of kms all over the place and back home in time for dinner with a nice haul of smiles (we mostly had smiles today woohoo).Missed on the first pass around the bus stop but soon had it in hand. Thanks for the cache.
I was on a mission to drive round the lake to take some travel bugs Im carrying out on a mission. Its a good thing this bus stop provides shelter because its starting to rain. The voodoo troll and the travel house are patiently waiting to get on the bus.I really enjoyed this trip around the lake and its a road i probably never would have taken if it wasnt for geocaching. Thank you for the cache.
Gladly a nice quick find here.
Cache in good condition, all nice and dry.

Headed down this way today with the intention of collecting the Pickup 52 trail of caches, and any others along the way....as am in need of some numbers for my goal for the year.....
Thank you to the CO's for cache placement, and bringing me to these locations.
After locating all I could of the Pickup 52 series, I was still left with quite some time before heading home....in other words it was still light, so I went in search of other caches on lesser travelled roads for me.........

Out on a caching day with LEONOOB and Cocokyla, there were a couple of kids hanging out at the bus stop but once they had moved on we soon had the cache in hand
When this bus shelter is repaired or replaced,, cos it damaged now, the cache may disappear! 'Just sayin'.

Both the youngest and I were looking, and I kept on looking while he went back to the car. Eventually he came back and told me he found it.... TFTC
I'm down from Paihia for a geocaching weekend with team G0LD: Geocachers: 0B80B8, Lis's crew & DaffyNZ. They're going to walk the Hakarimata track on Sunday. I got shin splints training for the walk so unfortunately I can't join them.
We picked up a few caches yesterday on the way down. Today's weather forecast wasn't good for the big walk so it was postponed until tomorrow. Our main aim for today is the Waikato River walk series. We're just filling in this area with yellow smiles. I happened to go straight to it which made it a very fast find. No dreaded waiting for us, thanks

Down from Northland for the weekend with the prime objective being to do the Hakarimata Trail. That was delayed a day because of the weather, so we ended up doing the Waikato River walk today and getting soaked in the process. After Team G0LD dried out at the pub, we then headed off for some more caches on the way back to our accommodation.
After a short detour off the main road, we stopped beside this one. Lis and I went for opposite ends and she came up with the quick find. TFTC

Today I'm starting my road trip home from Auckland to Nelson with my newly acquired convertible cachemobile. I'm going to be finding a few caches along the way. Plenty of room to park here. Found the cache in the first place I checked. TFTC, Biggles.
Luckily no one was waiting for a bus, so here I was looking here and there, and at last I found it, with log retrieved it was soon being signed.
Thanks for the hide KirsTim, this was to be our last find for the day before home with rebel98

Very cool little park and grab. Never cached in this area before. Very interesting. TFTC!
Want aiming for this cache but missed the turn off I needed to take but another cache is good
No buses today. Lol. Had a really good day finding caches around the lake. And all been nice quick finds. Tftc
My geosenses found the spot of the hide but my eyes and hands didn't so I was here much longer than necessary - kicked myself when I finally came up with the goods. No buses today. Have spent many an hour waiting for buses and never knowing whether I had missed the bus or it was just late. Especially school buses - there wouldn't be another if I had missed it! Occasionally that was in fact the case, driving my paranoia up a level at times when it was just late. Thanks for the hide KirsTim!
On the homeward journey today via a maintenance run on the 309, with a few cache finds thrown in. Haven't driven this road ever so have taken a long detour to make some cache finds. Nice hide here. SL. TFTC.
On a mission to clear out the area after a recent FTC. I have an old cache around the corner I can check up in too. Tftc
Time to start heading down the island towards home in Feilding, however I’m stopping if in Rotorua for a night at the holiday home that they have rented for a couple of days.
I set off early and I didn’t want to spend too much time caching prior to Auckland as I wasn’t sure what the traffic was going to be like through the city. However I decided to grab a few on the way. Got through Auckland in good time and now I’ve got a bit more luxury for some more caching.
Another quick find here in the usual spot for this type of hide. TFTC

Whilst traveling home from Auckland with a friend stopped for a stretch to find this cache.
Thanks for the cache great find nice drive too log sheet is rather ripped so needs some tlc
One of ten located, mostly on the Tahuna-Ohinewai Road, as we headed towards SH1 on our way to Auckland. Took a brief moment to find the spot where this one was hiding. Fortunately no-one was waiting for the bus at the time! By the way, good luck to anyone parking on the other side of the road and then trying to cross it. Take great care. It’s not the safest place to walk/run across! #2135. TFTC.
Decided to stop and grab this on the way home from work, first time I've managed to put my hand on the cache straight away. Everything was good, put it back home off home to get some sleep. Tftc.
Log found quickly but it is a shame about the broken glass and graffiti in the area.
Thanks KirsTim.
Nice to have a brief respite here from the Relentless Rain!
All good ...

A little bit different from the Albany bus station where I normally catch the bus, they don't even have one of those electronic boards showing when the next bus is due. Oh well, easy find with absolutely no muggles around, cheers
A quick find here before hitting the eyes series. Yes there is broken glass around but we were easily able to find without injury. All good here, TFTC!
After finishing up work this morning I decided to reward myself with an afternoon drive in the country. Nice to get out into the fresh air of nature and add some finds to the tally. I parked right next to GZ and got to searching. I started at the wrong end of things so found it in the very last spot it could be. I also had to be mindful of all the broken glass littered around GZ. Anyway, cheers for the cache placement!
Heading down to our property near Gordonton this evening, so we stopped here to make our cache find for the day. At this time of night it might be a long wait for the bus at this stop. The cache on the other hand was a quick find. Thanks.
The wait for the bus is bad but I think the wait at the hospital is worse...sometimes they'll make you come back tomorrow even though you've been waiting. And the waiting list can take months...and sometimes you find you haven't been on it so that you don't make the government statistics look bad. When I lived in China they'd have you waiting for all sorts of things and I don't want to alarm you but there is no respect for the art of the queue. It would drive an English person to despair.
Fortunately there was no wait here for the cache, I suggested going for a TOTT to make it easier but Mrs Tuolei was having none of it and was happy to do the hunting from a different angle. Found in good time and all good here, thanks for the cache.

Heading back home after a successful bout of power trailing with alpenmilch80 and themexikiwi and we stopped in here for a few extra caches for the day.
Quick look around and we soon had the cache in hand and carried on back up the road. TFTC

On a big day trip with KirsTim and yorkshirekiwi83, the goal of the day was to tackle the Eyes Have It Series, and a select few others on the route. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements and maintenance, we really appreciate all the work into cache ownership! A great day for driving and hunting down caches, no issues or problems were had.
A straightforward find, thanks for the hide!

Vamber, KirsTim and myself decided to tackle some of the Waikato caches today, or rather focus on the eyes have it series and anything we came across on route. Thank you to all the cache owners for their cache placements, they are very much appreciated. It was a hot day with the threat of thunder storms (which we got on the drive home) and ended up suffering for hayfever for the first time in my life, legs attacked by long grass but this is all in the life of a cacher, we had no issues with farmers or the like.

Out on a bit of a cache run, even though its a little rainy. Oh Well. I'm all booked in to Rotorua for the night, so on I go.

I could not believe my luck!!! Just after a couple of weeks of having been up north, I got an unexpected invite to AUT, with an opportunity to come up the weekend before (=do some caching!!). With flights and accommodation sorted, I was more than happy to invest in a rental car for the weekend Nice quick find once I looked on the right side! TFTC!!
Leaving Huntly on a caching expedition to Hamilton via some back roads today.
Nice and quiet today for a quick crouch and grab.

Well Mrs nzkites read the cache listing to me as we drove along the road we enjoyed it so much that we want to buy the book. A quick find and a fav for the writing and the memories.
This was on the list for tomorrow, but I was passing today so stopped to find it. TFTC
It was pouring with rain when we arrived at GZ and the wind made using an umbrella somewhat pointless so we were pleased to have some shelter while we searched.
Nice hiding spot. Thanks KirsTim.
Nice hiding spot. Thanks KirsTim.
After being cooped up inside all week with bad weather, sick child and school holidays I had scheduled in today for some 'me time'. I had planned to clean up around Hamilton but after finding a few urban hides I was well and truly over it and decided to head into the country for some peace and quiet and some nice country roads.
Thankfully no children or buses today so I could search uninterrupted. Soon found the sneaky wee cache. Thanks for bringing me here

It's still very early in the morning, and I'm having a fairly big day of caching here and then into Hamilton. This is a little far from home for you KirsTim! But the cache is well weather protected so will last a while.
