An easy find and a blustery Sunday afternoon The flies are pretty horrendous today!TFTC
Well November has come around once again before it gets too hot, that means off on a camping trip chasing Yellow Faces . Lucky enough to find several but have encountered a couple Blue Faces .Either way the experience has been rewarding due to the Geocache locations and the early summer days in the high teens & low to mid 20s.Many thanks go out to all the COs and the maintenance crews around the remote and country regions that make travelling more enjoyable.TFTC
Lid has a hole in it the size of a 50 cent piece.Sorry I don't carry these sort of lids as spares!
A nice walk on the walk the York Track, then onto the beach.Found the large cache, relieved it of its water, signed the very large log book and replaced everything as found. Thanks 3LG for the place and maintenance
We just got word that we can check into our accommodation early so to save our perishables this is the last find for now. We will head on and get the food back into a fridge. tftc#7892
Blowing a gale today.Had to make this a quick find, couldn't appreciate this side of the point in this weather.Tide is out, wonder if this side is equally good for crabbing.Haven't found a cache this big for a while.TFTC
Goldy is returning to Yorke Peninsula with a friend, who has recently signed up for geocaching under the name "goldyscacheelf".We are exploring the eastern side of Yorkes before heading to Marion Bay for the night.I'm showing him the ropes on caching, as he is still new to the game.We are grabbing more large caches hidden by LB in the TOY series, as well as a jasmer spot I need. This was our first cache of the day. We parked on the road and walked up to GZ. Muggles soon cleared out from the area, so we were free to search. The cache was quickly located and the log book was signed. The cache and contents are in good condition. Another large cache under my belt. Thanks LB for this traditional cache and series, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3858 on the 3rd of December 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!****Only 88 days to go!**
Struck it gold today with a beautiful winters day. Out exploring in the surrounds from Maitland with iluvtrekking. Lovely area though pretty quiet. Thanks 3LG
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We are enjoying the small towns, beaches, cliffs, history and ruins we encounter along the way in beautiful weather. Thanks for the cache.

Found on my one week's lovely and interesting YP caching odyssey. Thanks 3LG.
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

A long weekend with a massive amount of geocache finds in the Yorke Peninsula! The weekend was filled with a loong day of the fishing line power trail, followed by a subsequent day of the geoart at the peninsula bottom. I managed to squeeze in a night scuba dive, and then it was a slow return home finding a few geocaches on the way. An unexpected enjoyable weekend than what I thought it would be, with great company from locals Munja and skuzzybear, and visiting Kiwis mar1sa and the Seagnoid.
The original plan for today was to continue/complete the geoart at the bottom of Yorkes, but I think everyone had had enough with the monotony of getting in/out of cars with little scenery and ongoing repetition, that we decided to take it slowly back up the peninsula. It was an early-ish start from 8:00 hr, as we wanted to beat the crowds back heading home from the long weekend. Geocaches were collected along the main coastal road (or just off it), with a small detour visiting Black Point to collect those caches and having a FTF. I then said goodbye to the team as I drove skuzzybear back to her car in Kadina, and then collected a few strategic oldie caches on the return back to Adelaide. Unfortunately I was waiting in heavy traffic for a duration of 30 min at the dreaded Port Wakefield turn-off due to the time spent in the morning collecting caches, but otherwise, the return drive back went without incident. The weather was kind to us with an enjoyable morning, and then raining (and cleaning!) my car once I had arrived home.
An extended walk from where parked our car for this geocache. Once at GZ, we found the large sized container just like the rest of the TOY series, with the Seagnoid making the find. Thanks 3LG (aka [@LíB](http://coord.info/PR8KEM6)) for the placement and ongoing maintenance.

making our way back to the city, grabbing what we are able to on the way, thanks for the placement, greetings from NZ either signed as KAA or mar1sa.
The end of the Kiwis and Aussies trip on the York Peninsula had finally come to an end and rising early we began to make our way back to Adelaide. Like any good caching trip, we slowly cached our way home. Despite the greying weather it was a good drive back home, with traffic not presenting us with too much of a problem. An enjoyable and relaxing way to finish what was a fantastic trip. All logs were signed as KaA (Kiwis and Aussies).

Another awesome LARGE container. Where I live, in Marlborough, New Zealand there are lots and lots and lots of caches. And pretty much the only large are the ones I placed. Most of the regulars are mine too. Use your horror voice: sooo many micros! So, anyway. I love treasure, and I love large containers. Favourite. Bring on more. Oh - but put them in in New Zaland, please!
After spending the night in Stansbury after a couple of over-the-top days in the Yorke Peninsula targeting the geoart, Team KAA are heading north - the rush is on! To relieve a cache of its empty logbookness. Got that, now heading back to Adelaide. Thank goodness for the cooler weather! That 42 degrees we had earlier was just too much.
Team KAA (Kiwis and Aussies) are Skuzzybear, the Seagnoid, Munja, Mar1sa, David and Kris.

This was our first cache of the day having just left our overnight campsite. We enjoyed the wander down to the deserted beach in the early morning light. The nice sized cache was then located and log book signed. Thanks so much for the cache and for the interesting information on the cache page. This was a great start to the day and so a favourite point awarded for having bought us to this very nice location and for the very interesting series. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Today we headed south and enjoyed visiting and exploring some of the small towns and seaside communities of the Yorke Peninsula, together with ilook4geo. The sea breeze was nuch appreciated on yet another hot day. We found a selection of caches to represent the different areas and each one had both names noted on the log.
This was a nice easy find. Thanks go to 3LG for placing a cache here.

Spent the day cruising and caching around the Yorke Peninsula with goingplaces2. We had a good day, found plenty of caches to add some smileys to our map. Logs signed and we moved on. TFTC.
Looking at the houses here we do not feel we can afford to move to this area. SL TFTC
Spent the day clearing some more of the map around Central Yorke Peninsula. Still a few more to go though. TFTC.
We are coming to the end of our three weeks staying on the Yorke Peninsula, and we will be sad to say goodbye to such a lovely area. We have moved around a bit spending three nights at each of the spots we’ve chosen, and it’s a great way to really get to see so much of what is on offer here. We’ve picked up heaps of caches but, more importantly, we have come to love this region and intend to return here and continue our explorations. Some great bakeries, coffee shops and pubs are also worth coming back for!
One of the things we will miss when we leave here is the TOY Run caches. It’s been our first contact with a series that not only has such large containers, but without exception they have all been in perfect order, with good clean log books with plenty of room in them, and there’s been a nice collection of swapables for the kids. Great work 3LG.

Day 5 of our trip - travelling back from the Yorke Peninsula through to Adelaide. Our targets for the day included more T.O.Y. caches, a virtual, a letterbox trail, and a bit more geoart. Also a few caches with some interesting D/Ts for their type. Finished the night with some wherigos... A great day was had by all. Caches logged under the "SWAG-JJ" group monkier. TFTC!
The SWAGJJ team has embarked on day 5 and are enjoying the caching pleasures of the Yorke Peninsula! So much on offer and such a wondrous part of our great land! So many caches makes for a busy and fun filled day! Lots of fun caches today TFTC
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 5: Heading back towards Adelaide for the next two days we are hitting up as many TOY caches, letterboxes and other interesting things on our journey today.

Day 5 visiting Adelaide and surrounding suburbs with geo friends Waz and Vic, Ardom, Gcoven, JACS Team and joojoo57 from Queensland.
Enjoying venturing around the beautiful city and countryside finding as many caches as we can before heading back home.

Found on way home from Stansbury for Easter. Visited Black Point during happy hour and had beach to myself. Wished I had bought my TOY gloves which were waiting to be grabbed from car. Cache in great condition still with many swaps still available for the kids. TNLNSL. Thanks for the cache and the series
Another visit of some T.O.Y. Run cache... must be about the last 3 to find for me now...
Most were a quickish find. Who would think a bucket that big would be so hard to see sometimes???
TNLNSL
Thanks

Today we explored Port Vincent and then travelled to Port Julia and Black Point and finished at Pine Point using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Last Toy run for this Peninsula trip will be back for more later in the year tftc
Having stayed in Port Wakefield overnight to got a good head start on the traffic heading to Edithburgh for the JLWE, mogni and I set off early. The only thing standing in our way were several unfound caches. What would YOU do? We stopped and grabbed a few (well more than 40) smilies and about 4 DNF's
Our ninth TOY bucket for the day required a stroll along the beach. I hate sand. But in for a penny , in for a pound. We had already ventured all the way out to the point so coming back we continued along the beach to this one. I'll bet this cache owner did that too placing this. [:O)]
Unfortunately we were able to follow a geotrail into the area for a quick find.
Thanks 3LG for the cache and series.
This has been the pick of the towns so far but I think I need a few extra zeros on the end of my pension to live here. [B)]

Out for a drive with brisal5 on our way to Edithburg for the June Long weekend. We didn't take the direct route but the scenery was much better the way we went. I am venturing into new territory. I will need to come back and really explore.
Sadly this location is getting damaged by all the visits.

Found this cache on a leisurely walk around Black Point. Great camouflage (complete with sharp guardians) but found it without difficulty. Thanks for the info about Black Point and its history.
Travelling home today after a peaceful break on the yorke, few local caches along the way made for a great day, Thankyou.
Strolling around the point,
I found meself in a likely spot to hide a T.O.Y. Run cache
It took a few minutes !!
Amazing how you can hide such large caches so well,
just by giving them a coat of paint

Found during a trip to Wool Bay for the weekend after criss-crossing the roads of the peninsula. The beach was deserted today allowing for a quick find with spot-on coordinates. Thanks for the cache 3LG!

A great spot. Had a fair bit of trouble spotting this one in particular. Had a phone call at the time so that was off putting!
I can't resist TOYs so what better way than to go searching. The caches in this series were of a good size - I think I only broke 1 finger nail getting them open. I got wet a fair few times from the water on the lid, didn't see any snakes, and a few times they took me a while to spot as the undergrowth had exploded around a few of them. Coords always spot on.
Thanks to 3LG and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I did in 2016. I cache with an assortment of cachers and never alone. In 2016 I cached with Moneydork, Ride the GeoWalrus, Locus Cacher, Liz & Bruce and Team Zouk. My log should match up with one of theirs. I enjoy every cache find I have made and do not for one second take for granted the effort going into each one, its just I'm very bad at logging my finds and I'm trying to improve. To improve I have to reduce the quality of my log and just get it over with -- for now. If I can form a good habit again I will return to my once more meaningful logging. Thanks heaps for hiding caches around South Australia that I could find!
Over this way for the weekend with a frog got in a bit of cache maintanance and took the Yorkes tour.

This cache was found using a Garmin GPSr, Montana 650t, Oregon 550 or Dakota 20. Waypoints and paperless geocaching downloaded via GSAK 8. One of many large TOY caches found this weekend. I broke a finger nail. That's a bit racist.
This coast has a variety of landscapes from smooth sands to rocky cliffs.
Although the caches are the same they are located in different landscapes.
