Mrs NZT and I decided to have a road trip day today. Left home at 6.30am (crazy I know when we are on holiday but then this is holiday enjoyment for us!!!), drove lots of kms all over the place and back home in time for dinner with a nice haul of smiles (we mostly had smiles today woohoo). This spot could probably tell you many many stories all about car racers - the area was flooded with shredded tyres and tyre marks. Nice quick find and we were on our way. Thanks for the cache.
A nice quick find here today. Log a bit wet. Lots of burn outs happened on road round here. Tftc
Clear hint, quick find.
Ouch, [ got caught in the blackberries. Cut it a little bit to make it a more pleasant find for the next cacher.

Found this one with novalightning. Just started my account today so will be logging with my dad
Been past this cache so many times. Quick easy find except it was busy time for the passing muggles. TFTC
Out doing some exploring in the northern Waikato and taking the scenic route. TFTC
Stopped here in the large pull-off area for morning coffee and were joined by 2 trucks whose drivers had the same idea. Luckily had grabbed the cache before they arrived and put back safely when they weren't looking. There was water in the cache so tipped that out before replacing as found.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Log a wee bit damp. Cache tucked in nice and safe. Quick find on my northern Waikato geotour.
A nice quick find as we passed by thanks to the hint.
Not sure what has been going on here but there are a lot of pieces of burnt tyres and what appears to be the top of a roof from a house. Must have been quite a party but we are glad we weren't invited.
TFTC.

2nd today. Had to detour for accident so stopped to check the map & guess what was here. Quick find. Tftc
Such a large parking area and yet, coming from the side road I didn't know it was there and parked on the curb. Just as well it was a quick find so I could get back to the car! Thanks for the extra cache find toady eyespyben - just wish I had brought a rubbish bag today but I cleaned out the car and hadn't really thought about what I left in it - stupid of me really.
We are on our way home after a busy day caching in the Waikato with rebel98. The GPS/phone bounced around a little, but with the hint there was only one place it could be
The ground is a bit soft with all the gravel, but the car did ok, with the log signed, we were on our way.
Thanks eyespyben for the hide, all good here.

Out and about in 30C heat trying to make a dent in the 'Eyes Have It' series. This cache was only a short detour from the trail so I headed here and found it. All good. TFTC, Biggles.
One of ten located, mostly on the Tahuna-Ohinewai Road, as we headed towards SH1 on our way to Auckland. A reasonably quick find. #2134. TFTC.
I was heading out this way for work today and realised this cache was here. Nice easy grab while it started raining. TFTC.
Out today collecting a whole bunch of caches with KiwiteacherNZ. This was part of our loop and a quick find.
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Found easily thanks....despite some rubbish nearby...including an Old Christmas tree.
Somebody dumped a lot of garden waste here, too much for a CITO in my little 3/4 car.
Turn around point for The Eyes Have It. Nice to have a traditional as a break. tftc
Found very wet so placed in new plastic bag with some things to swap. Lucky for waterproof log awesome.
Heading down to our Waikato base this afternoon to pick up a few caches and attend this evenings Event. A nice big pull off area here, and an obvious hint when approaching GZ. Nice quick find. Thanks.
Fabulous day out met up with Aiden29, Merlot58 & Jag50 and have signed Logs as McJAM to save room on the log sheet, MANY THANKS for the placement, Much Appreciated. Cheers
Made plans to head back down here and complete the Eyes have it series along with Merlot58 and Jag50. Signed as McJAM to save time. A nice quick find here.
Heading south for the day with Merlot58 and Aiden29 to complete the eyes puzzle series. Met up with McJandals and signed the logs as McJAM. Apologies for the cut and paste logs... but we found 100 caches in total today! Quick find here on our way home.
Having completed the Eyes series we did a couple of nearby traditionals before heading home. A nice quick find here
Another nice and quick find and our last trad before starting the eyes series. All good here, coords and hint bang on. TFTC!
Arrived in Hamilton yesterday, woke up bright and early, off i went to the petrol station first of all, otherwise would not have been good as the day went on. A foggy morning again for day 2 of my caching adventure. fog had lifted by the time i arrived at this cache, after picking up a few of the geo art caches noticed that there were a few traditional caches on the way, so decided to see if I could get these as well set my gps and away i went, was lucky enough to stop in time and park in the hope of retrieving the cache . didn't take long to locate the cache once arriving at gz thanks to the easily understandable hint. quick easy find, signed and placed back exactly as i found it. thanks for the cache. off to the next one.
Happy Easter

After finishing up work this morning I decided to reward myself with an afternoon drive in the country. Nice to get out into the fresh air of nature and add some finds to the tally. I parked up close to ground zero and got to searching. Made a near instant find here. Last traditional cache of the day; from here it is puzzles and multi caches courtesy of the "eyes have it" series. Cheers for the cache placement!
Nice quick find here on our day trip to the Waikato. For a cache where it is we weren't expecting to find a travel bug as it wasn't listed in the cache, but looking we can see a newer cacher put it in here. So we will do the "grab" and move the travel bug along. Thanks for the cache here, all is well.

**2.51pm**
**daily find #91**
The weather looked to be bad in the BOP so a decision was made to head to the brighter skies of the Waikato (for a change...) to knock off "The Eyes Have It" series and a few more to bring our tally up to 99 for the day.
Managed the whole of the series (Bar one that we didnt notice the updated co-ords) in just under 7 hours, including an hour break in Gordonton.
The puzzles took us a long time to click, even emailed/text/messaged a few previous finders but we had it sorted by the time the replies came!!
It seems everyone wants to stop here!!
That and the hoards of cars coming out of Rutherfurd Rd!!
Thanks for another hide Ben!!

Heading back home after a successful bout of power trailing with alpenmilch80 and themexikiwi and we stopped in here for a few extra caches for the day.
Quick look around and we soon had the cache in hand and carried on back up the road. TFTC

On a big day trip with KirsTim and yorkshirekiwi83, the goal of the day was to tackle the Eyes Have It Series, and a select few others on the route. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements and maintenance, we really appreciate all the work into cache ownership! A great day for driving and hunting down caches, no issues or problems were had.
A straightforward find, thanks for the hide!

Vamber, KirsTim and myself decided to tackle some of the Waikato caches today, or rather focus on the eyes have it series and anything we came across on route. Thank you to all the cache owners for their cache placements, they are very much appreciated. It was a hot day with the threat of thunder storms (which we got on the drive home) and ended up suffering for hayfever for the first time in my life, legs attacked by long grass but this is all in the life of a cacher, we had no issues with farmers or the like.
Nice quick find once we had finished the series, TFTC

Out on a bit of a cache run, even though its a little rainy. Oh Well. I'm all booked in to Rotorua for the night, so on I go.

in the area for the day, nice to find a cache that was dry and didnt involve being spiked to get to it, tftc
Leaving Huntly on a caching expedition to Hamilton via some back roads today.
I don't get the cache name!
A quick find while Ms M photographed the sign posts to send to a friend on Oz as she grew up around here.

I scored some ridiculously cheap flights to Auckland, and that means one thing - geocaching!! I had some specific caches in mind, so I hopped into the car at the airport, and drove straight south. I had to survive in my hiking boots for the whole weekend to have suitable shoes for such an activity due to the seat only fare (I have perfected my packing technique since then ), but I managed. I found as many as possible of the eyes series, and it was time to head back to the airport - just one more, right! Quick find fortunately in the setting sun, then a quick drive, drop of car, and walk straight into my seat Great weekend!!! TFTC!!
Day three of my break in the Waikato, and I woke up this morning to no sign of rain, so hopefully that means a drier day, so hopefully I’ll get through the day with dry feet. Had an early breakfast and planned my route - it’s onto the Tahuna / Orini area to collect the final few of the Kiwi Art series and onto the Eyes series.
This was one of about half a dozen traditionals today in a day that was ninety percent mystery caches. No problems locating the cache quickly here today. TFTC

I was starting to worry that it might be under the pile of roading gravel. but it wasn't. TFTC
In Hamilton for a Daffodil show yesterday. Had an early start for a big day caching. Quick stop and find as I passed, while doing 'The Eyes Have It!!' puzzle caches. Thanks eyespyben for the cache.
Decided to drive some of the "eyes" today and do a loop back to Hamilton via Tahuna and Morrinsville.
Nice to have a good parking spot after the previous tight fits.

done a check today all good change log book neally full got a new one in there and drop of a tb as well
I managed to wrangle myself a few hours to myself and after being cooped up all week with school holidays, sick kid and all that life wanted to throw at me, I knew I needed to get out and find some caches. Despite the average weather I rugged up with a jacket, a thermos of hot coffee and had the car heater blasting. It meant I was as fast as I could possibly be while finding the caches so I could get back in the car asap!
A quick grab while out collecting some eyes. Thanks for the placement

Sorry Eyespyben ...no story today lol...the weathers mean and the wind bitter ...glad the find was fast as ..thanks for the great placement
Nipped out in my good suede boots - not the best choice of footwear for this cache. Luckily the hint meant it was a quick find, then tippy toes back through the mud the the car. Thank eyespyben.
Out with a group of geocachers to do the first half of the eyes caches. Stopped here as they thought a few hadn't got this one but it ended up just me Enjoying the ride and having lots of fun. TFTC
Came down from Auckland for a day of caching. Don't have anyone with me today but that's OK, loving the drive in the country regardless. No problems with the cache here today. I had to swap my jandals for gumboots to wander to the cache.
Decided to take the scenic route to Auckland and try a few caches on the way. This was find number 4. TN, left a TB. TFTC
Up in Auckland for the weekend with Team bop (myself Philip.Perry and TNXPRO ) collecting a few of the puzzles we have solved. We had an long tiring weekend but still managed to stop for caches on way home.
