Logs
Unfortunately this location has been vandalised, and our cache kept getting defaced and the log filled with offensive language. We don't want to draw extra attention to this historic site any longer for fear of future issues.
With an excessively rainy day the day before, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I decided to do a bit of geoaching around Littlehampton and Nairne. It was a cold and at times, wet day, but we think we timed our outside activities right in between spells of rain. We did a small walk around the dam at Totness Recreation Park, collected various geocaches around Littlehampton, and then headed to Nairne to see some of the murals, before calling it day before we were able to complete that respective multi-cache.
Initially started searching around GZ today, but nothing found around that tree. [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) started searching around the shed, but I called her away due to the coordinates, but from reading some past logs, it turned out that it seemed like it was around there indeed. We tried searching around all the typical spots, but no cache turned up. We used all the information available to us with all sorts of hints, but no cache for us today. Hopefully this one has some maintenance done to it and gets reenabled, as it is a great location.

Nice find while in the area with tmann421.
Really enjoying travelling around and discovering more about these areas.
Thanks for all the effort put into these placements

Out with woolwood9 and we enjoyed getting some more finds in the area.

Owl's geodaughter was in town and that means caching! What started as a maintenance run (with lots of caching along the way) turned into a chase for her 600th cache. It was achieved and there was much rejoicing! This took way too long to find. Coordinates had Owl elsewhere and not listening to the prior finder, who eventually turned up the goods for Owl.
With Mrs one-eyed, our Nissan patrol 4WD en-route from our base in Murray Bridge CP to Hahndorf for a lunch and pics and caching, we found this lovely little lane to the cache at the Rail station if we could call it such.
Found the cache okay with Mrs one-eyed's help.

Didn't take too long to find considering we did it in the dark. Log is dry but a bit secondhand. TFTC.
Went back for a final look. And there it was. Must have checked that spot 10 times already. Log a bit soggy but useable (just) TFTC
Found while in the Kanmantoo, Littlehampton and Harrowgate area north of the Princess Highway, hunting my favourite cache type, traditional
Spent quite a while searching at and near my GZ before resorting to my favourite PAF line. No answer
Decided that co-ords might be out and moved across the line to continue the search. Phone rings, it's my favourite PAF line and I'd made the right decision but cache was not where previously found. Then it was spotted on the ground in the long wet grass.
Log is very wet and not really usable. Left a smudge and returned to where I think it should have been.
Have included my take on some better co-ords.
Thanks for the cache TheGaffs

Found today at a second attempt. The gps threw me last time as it's about 7 metres away from gz. I was originally on the wrong side of the tracks. Should have looked better though fairly simple find.
A great little spot to wander past today
Sadly no trains seen
But the cache more than made up for that

This is a great spot and a nice place to ride around. Good hiding and follow the description.
I'm heading into the last stretch of a 365-day daily streak, and now I'm picking up former DNFs. I enlisted Mogni a while back to find this one: the coordinates jumped all over the place, and we looked at trees, rails, and all sorts. The tree and powerline cover here make coordinates almost impossible to rely on, so I recommend cachers think: where is the obvious place? Which man-made structure would I place a cache in? So, we finally located it; Mogni made her mark and I decided to come back on a day when I really needed an easy to find cache for my streak. Today was that day: I was home sick from work and could pick this one on the way back from the doctors.

I came here as I noticed this had been recently found and had heard it could be hard to find. The challenge was not following your GPSr but to follow your instincts about where would I hide it.
Thanks to TheGaffs from mogni

Dnf. In a hurry busting for the toilet.we will come back later and see if we can find it when were more calm
Not sure of the date when we found this cache but found it we did. Barking dogs and nosey neighbours did make it a little harder. SL TFTC
A little tricky find, not really where the coordinates state. Use the title as your clue
I was grabbing some caches today to get my coins for The Lost Treasure for Mary Hyde and also needed to grab some things in Mt Barker whilst home on holidays from uni. I came here a number of years ago for assignment. I was looking into what would need to be considered to extend the Belair train line to Mt Barker to improve the commuting experience from the Adelaide Hills. The cache was about 14m from where it said but I used my instinct and logic to find it resulting in a very easy find. No TB as advertised. TFTC.
Had a solid look. GZ led to a twisted tree which was certainly lacking a cache; nearby tracks and trees were also cacheless. There is a lot of rubbish and recent tyre tracks around so perhaps some work has been done and the cache has been muggled.
Took me a lot longer than it should have to spot this little blighter!

Searched for this one long and hard before. Came back and almost ready to give up again-bingo! SLTNLN TFTC
It took me a while to find it. It is sad to see it like that.

We were looking for something bigger, but after a PAF, we were told it was a mint tin. That changed our perspective and we soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for the cache TheGaffs. Found on 16 Mar 2017 at 4:52 pm. Find #4140.

Sometimes we all get broken - it's the path to rebuilding that gives us the strength to carry on. Good foundations are important in the process - something this structure is sadly lacking! Clear skies is always a big help too.
Had this one my list for awhile
Located. the cache under
signed the log and returned it to where I found it
Logging this I read it has been disabled
cache itself all good has just been unscrewed from its hide

Temporarily disabling until we can repair and find a more hidden spot. Too many thieves and too much damage
Two Canadian GRANDPARENTS caching with our Auzzie granddaughters. Read before coming here that the cache needed some tlc repairs. So made a log book, slightly camoed the container and left some some swags for next catchers. TFTC
The bottom half of the snap lock container was sitting on the wooden beam totally empty. Unfortunately I didn't have a spare logbook but I have placed a few pages from my notebook which should suffice for a while. Re-attached the bottom half to the top half. TFTC TheGaffs
Found it, easy as. Replaced it where it should have been. Was left out in the open for any muggle to find.
After a short stroll along an unused railway line I ventured upon a derelict station. Unfortunately the container was muggled so I signed my name on a spare sheet of paper I had in my pocket and replaced the container in its intended location. Thanks for the cache TheGaffs!
Finally after a week or so of biblical weather the sun came out. So I grabbed the GPS and headed for the hills .
Thanks for the cache!
A caching run with Moneydork that led to me finding 12 caches before I got home somewhere after midnight
11 between Littlehampton and Monarto then 1 on my own, halfway home
Very quick find here as we saw the cache while walking into GZ
Now that took way less time than finding a way to get into GZ did

Followed TomTom to GZ and made the short walk over [:o)].
Instantly found, but there was no log book [B)]. Went back to our vehicle and grabbed a replacement [8]. TNLNSL.
Thanks SkyeMc.

Nice little spot and some interesting history. I presume it used to have a floor many year ago?

Certainly a broken station, after going around a few times earthlight soon spotted the cache. TFTC
Freddo went for a drive and a cache. This was the cache. Found successfully. Signed the log. Interesting location. While since there has been a train on those tracks.
After attending an event in Hahndorf headed to Mt Barker for cache maintenance. Noticed this cache come up so quick detour. Easy find. TFTC
On my way home from Bunnings decided to call in and check out the area mot knowing where the littlehampton station is situated. Was harder to find a park which didn't require me getting towed out due to excess rain in the area. A quick find after a short stroll. Thanks for the cache
Our first for the day met up with Mattycat for some drizzly caching in the hills, a little sloshy here after the rain but cache all dry, easy start to the day TFTC TheGaffs
A short caching run with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin to clear off some caches between us.
Lots of memories of fun times on the trains.

Wow what a cool spot! Loved taking a walk through here and admiring what may have been here in it's hey-day. Unfortunately the cache was all over the ground when we arrived so signed the oh, made the swap and put it all back together again. This was number 2 of 2 for us today. Took Fish Eraser, left Toy Car. Cheers.

Nice to see this 'newish' listing on our map when planning an outing for today.
We love rail history ... any history really.
Drove along the lane and must have disturbed the neighbour's dog. Woof, Woof, Woof!
Our GPSr wanted us to look in the trees, but we expanded our search to the more obvious location and soon had the cache in hand.
Signed log and took some photos to remember our visit.
