We're meandering home, after attending 2 awesome Megas over this side of the country, via a few little deTours as we go.We'll be going back across the Nullarbor, back to our Seaside home eventually, before WAGB 2024.Thanks for this one on our travels.TFTC
Another cache found with richlink as part of our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
This is our last day in the area, so a very low-key day today. Our thanks to all who have placed and maintained caches for our enjoyment.

Out with iluvtrekking on our last day in Loxton. Enjoying the rural roads caching we much prefer. After extensive search we concluded that cache was missing, so hope you don’t mind that we replaced at co-ords. Thanks Moneydork
Found along the dusty roads while caching with -Beaker- and Kellmik on our SA Easter rampage.
Thanks Trigger_Fish for the placement.

The forecast temperature today was listed as reaching 39 degrees so we planned our cacheing day around spending maxium time in the A/C in the car and minium time out walking trails. Today it was fantastic that we did not find that we needed to renew any cache containers or log books/sheets. Well done everyone. All the caches we targeted today were found to be in good order.
There was, of course, the mandatory flies and dust and more dust and more flies, we can live with this as we have the technology to deal with the flies and dust.
We did encounter roads that we have never travelled on before and were very surprised when we came across a water way at Bugle Hut that had at least 300 swans on it. We traveled down a road that had the strangest collection of items attached to the trees, there was fans, lamps, boom box, frypan, stuffed toys, CD's with red reflectors, asstd computers bits - monitor keyboard etc. It felt like every road had an old house on it. We saw house's where the lawns were so green while all the land around them were as brown as can be.

Sir_spectre and I had a quick getaway to the Riverland. We were targetting the less found caches. We found an assortment of caches, and as regular for us manged to replace containers for several and put some fresh logbooks in others. It was a rather hot weather for a weekend of caching but the air conditioned car gave us some relief.

first cache of this series. quick find.
Out with the Mogni for a short trip out to the riverland, only 3 days. It was hot first 2 days where 40 degrees and the last day was 33 degrees. Since the rules just changed about covid 19 testing before and after entering vic to no testing, we changed our plans on the way up and decided to go via Murray Sunset National Park. The idea was to find as many caches as we could that haven't been found recently most hadn't been found in 3 months. On day 1 we replaced 10 out of the first 12 caches, all broken container and 1 log book replaced, and by the end of the day had a heaped medium bin liner bag full of broken containers, the hot mallee sun doesn't do the plastic containers any good. Day 2 saw us caching around Loch Luna and lake Bonney which is way easier driving around here in the dry then in the rain like my last visit here. Onlt 1/2 a medium bin liners back of replaced containers today, people must fix the closer to the highway caches more often. On day 3 it was back in to the mallee country and home via Pinnaroo. Getting those " out of the way caches ". Plenty of dirt roads where driven down and many, many back sandy tracks taken. It was good to explore all the country areas and stay off the highway.

Day 2 of our weekend away to explore the Murray Mallee region (keeping away from the Victorian border due to COVID-19 restrictions) [8].
After lunch in Loxton, we followed this little series south on the way back to our campsite .

Bored Wife Series? Now that has to be fixed! Caching can do that - both ways.
A fun drive with four-fun saw us both investigate the area while discovering this cache.
Thanks to Trigger_Fish and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]

As I am getting older and running out of time, I have decided I will take off on my own to cache in different areas of our vast country as my NGW (Non Geocaching Wife) has no interest in caching.
I have been up to Loxton for five days of full on caching with suscoe, au.fait and Phetlern and still have so many caches to log.
Heading east of Loxton with the crew we found this guy. Ross tells me that we travelled at least 250 km today.
I am afraid that for the next few days my logs are going to be a lot of cutting and pasting but that does not take away the effort that the owners have put in to provide these caches for us to find so please accept my thanks. With close to 200 caches placed I know how much work is involved with not only placing them but the ongoing maintenance.
Thanks, Trigger_Fish for placing this cache.

Another great day of caching, with Bushfire, au.fait & Suscoe, in the Riverland - between Loxton and that infamous border! The expanse of the farmland is amazing the ruins dotted along the roadsides adding interesting snap shots of local history.
We had to laugh at the origin of this series, perhaps it could be interpretted as the BWS outlet close to Woolies!!
Our thanks to 'Trigger_Fish' for placing this cache for our enjoyment.

Suscoe headed out this morning in the terrific company of au.fait, Phetlern and Bushfire for a caching adventure to the east of Loxton.
It was a warm morning which turned into a farily hot afternoon.
We travelled around 250 kms and found a lovely range of caches in some interesting locations.
The roads were fairly quiet but we did pass quite a few shingle back lizards, who were making their way across the roads that we travelled along.
Thanks to Moneydork for this hide, it was pretty hot out here this afternoon and it was good to be at the second last find for the day.

A fairly warm to hot day with much driving in the area to the East of Loxton. The caches were fairly widely spaced but the excellent company of Phetlern, suscoe and Bushfire made for a very enjoyable day. Not certain where you are going, but one more today then it’s back to the caravan park TFTC Moneydork
Heading towards Bordertown today and found this nice little series of caches put out for the same reason as we are here, to get out. The wind is biting hot today and it doesn't help that every time we get out of the car, we are sandblasted. Thanks for placing these caches for us to enjoy.

Our aim today was to drive south from Berri (where we stayed overnight) to Millicent, looking for a few caches along the way. We got side-tracked by the BWS series. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find by the shorter member of the team but the taller of the team was required to retrieve the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Moneydork for the cache and the series.
Round and round we go, until I spotted it... Doh!
Started this series ages ago, by finding #6. Came back today from #1 and completed it...
An interesting array of hides and containers. All in good condition.

This year our plan was to spend our "summer vaction" in Australia.
So arriving on the 7th November we took over the campervan and started our tour from Sydney to Adelaine. On that tour we found a lot of caches. This was one of it.
Thank's a lot to all CO's that placed and maintain the caches here in "Down Under".

Dunno, don't wanna know

Starting my great trip up the middle with a couple of muggle friends.
Just picking up random caches while I can without upsetting them to much.
The last one in the series for me and it was a great drive off the main highway to do this fun little series.
Thanks Moneydork TFTC TFTS.

Found it while on a little (long) loop drive out from Loxton into Sunset National Park picking up a few caches along the way. Kids had trouble finding this one, but I soon had it spotted with the added benefit of being taller. TFTC SL, Cannot remember what the kids swapped out. Thank you Moneydork
A crazy one day road trip with Sebastbat , where we claimed three firsts on WH caches for the team,
visited a few other special caches along the way, showed incredible self control by driving past hundreds,
and "leaving them for later!", and even snuck our way into Mexico for a few in the bush!
Found in the dark while escaping nearby Mexico.
How could a wife be bored living with you ?
Getting late - we'll be back for the rest another day. tftc Moneydork

Found with FerociousFlea on our 2017 June Long Weekend Wandering Heroes Caching Run. Totals included 155 on Saturday, 176 on Sunday and 6 early Monday, making for 337 caches in a little over 48 hours.
Thanks to all of the cache owners and caching teams that have this series named after them. Thanks also to those who make the effort to maintain other's caches so that people like us can do these caching runs. Apologies for the generic logs...

Found with Beaker on a long weekend caching run... 337 caches in 2.5 days! Broke some personal records, had very little sleep, lots of caffeine, a few minor injuries and a heap of fun! Some great caches found, well done to everyone involved. Thanks
This was a fun little series and we enjoyed finding the variety of containers as well as the different types of hides. All were achieved with no problems and all logs were signed before each cache was put back where it had been found. Thanks to Moneydork for the fun and hope the wife liked the caches as much as we did.
Up this way doing some WH cache maintenance, and decided to tackle some backroad caches before heading home. TFTC Moneydork.
Day Four of our journey north to the Red Centre Experience and after camping a little bit south we are using the back roads to make our way to Renmark.

Nice one to finish on and the only cache today, where a vehicle drove past. Has been interesting to see the blue NBN indicators on these back roads. Thanks for this quick series. Probably a bit silly to do this in today's conditions but I was already in muddy, dirty clothes and in the right area to start at the end of the trail, so it seemed like a good idea at the time! My car now looks disgusting from all the muddy puddles I've driven through, but it has certainly been a fun morning! Cache #2449.
Thought we may have scored the FTF while out caching Taplan/Taldra but alas we were beaten to the punch. TFTC!
Heading off to Mildura for a couple of events tomorrow. Of course getting there is always just part of the adventure. [^] Collected Clare007 and then Hevwalker as she finished work. No time to get changed into caching clothes. Let's head east stopping at caches along the way.
Our overnight digs were in Berri. So after checking in and getting our rooms it was not quite the witching hour and there were some unloved caches only 30 kms away. Just had to go an get them. Grab them and come back for a good night's sleep before continuing to Mildura. Or at least that was the plan.
Setting off on the back roads there was just nobody about. When we got to the first we opened it with baited breath, but by the third we thought we we be in line for six FTFS. [^]
WOO HOO. Joint FTF on this one at 10.05 p.m.
Thanks for the series Moneydork. Left a TB

We were staying at Berri tonight before heading off to Mildura tomorrow...we had heard about this series of caches that had been out for a few days & not yet been found so after booking into our rooms we headed out into the night.
It was a really nice surprise to see a blank log book.

We had checked into our Hotel at Berri,
and as we had already stopped for dinner we were soon on the road again in search for FTF.
As the drive wasn't too far, we all agreed that a night trip for a few night caches and potential FTFs were in order.
We were happy to find a very empty log book, so joint FTF with hevwalker & brisal5
