Another shire checked off on my hitchhiking journey to Perth. Most definitely not a D1/T1. I'll admit geocaching is more difficult when you're with people who have never done it or aren't interested.
First find today. Now I'm off to Mt. Isa!

Wally even made it easy with a tool nearby. Thanks Wally after a long drive from Karumba. Found with NutCacheBNE
Hi there sose89.
We found your cache **"Where's Wally?"** today.
We're full time grey nomads, currently avoiding COVID hot spots on our way to QOGM in Cunnamulla. Today we cached around Cloncurry and found 9 caches in a variety of container types and sizes (& DNF'd 0).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache near where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log are in good shape.
This is definitely not a 1/1 cache. A wheelchair person could not reach.

On my trip up north to find some warmer weather and I have finally found it.
Shorts and short sleeves is the way to go.
In Cloncurry for a couple of days and seeing all of the sights and of course picking up a few caches as I go.
I have noticed plenty of signs around Cloncurry pointing to Where’s Wally and I have finally been able to spot and then catch up with him.
Thanks Sophia_Cox TFTC

Day 3 of our tour around Queensland. Today saw us heading from Longreach to Cloncurry picking up this, that and anything else that we came across.
On our way back into Cloncurry we stopped off at this one. When we were heading to the dam Mr Policeman was sitting right at GZ so we were happy to see the area vacated on our return journey. Once at GZ we used Eskies5 height to make the retrieval and sign our names. TFTC soph_cox

Day 3 of 8 (Longreach to Cloncurry) of a Queenslander road trip with Kestal, clocking just over 4000km, to tick off boxes for different challenges. After checking in to our motel we headed out to grab a few caches around Cloncurry. Going by the terrain rating it wasn’t in the place we thought. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC soph_cox
Heading out of Mount Isa towards Hughenden today and stopped to grab some caches along the way and this was one of them. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Cool hiding spot, travelling through to Mount Iaa after a weekend away in Julia Creek.
An overnighter in Cloncurry today. Stopped at a lovely caravan park and ventured out around town to grab the caches. Arrived at GZ and after reading previous comments that the container may be missing, after checking no cache was found. We have replaced the container, in a spot at GZ,

After camping at Porcupine Gorge last night, I continued my journey west towards Mount Isa, checking out the various towns and caches along the way.
Its been almost 3 weeks since I left Adelaide on a trip north in search of some warmer weather and I’ve really been enjoying the changing landscapes and visiting new places.
Where’s Wally indeed! After a good search in all the likely places I had to conclude that Wally has gone!

Today was my third attempt at this cache and sadly came up empty again. Fairly sure I’m looking in the correct location given all the clues in the logs.
Found it although the cap wasn’t sealed on tightly so the paper inside the tube was all wet and soggy .
My muggle husband and I are on our way from Brisbane to Mt Isa and after our stay overnight at Winton we decided to find a few more smileys. Love the theme of this cache and lucky I have a tall husband. Thanks for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
Found easily enough..however even with the provided retriever was still not easy. Needs a higher T rating. Thanks
Day 353 Today we made our way from this wonderful place of Cloncurry to Winton and before hitching up we made the quick trip to the GZ and a quick find was made and we go underway for the trip today.
Thanks soph_cox for bringing us here to cache.

Staying at Wal's camp ground I thought it only proper to go and find and sign this cache.
Used the tool available.

Felt quite daft having a go at this one as there was a highway patrol car sitting right on the verge of the road. Undeterred I got a boost from Mr Youban and soon we were onour way to the next cache. Kutgw
I found Wally.
Great cache. Gee it’s hot touching anything metallic at 47 deg.

Cool area great for a cache. Nice hide. Log is full but we manage to squeeze on. Tftc
After attending the show at the Stockman's Hall of Fame the previous night then driving out of town to the free camp there which was very popular, we were back on the road again this morning heading for Mt Isa.
We stopped where parking was possible for caches that were close to or just off the road on our way collecting as many as we could.
A wonderful way to come across a range of monuments and features that would otherwise be missed. We also enjoy the stories and anecdotes that go with some.
This was the first cache for quite a while on our travels. We turned the corner and pulled into the gravel area not far from a highway policeman keeping his eye on the road.
Despite our searches and stretches he wasn't interested in us and left us untroubled.
