Staying at friends shack. Quick find at the end of the day. Had to keep an eye out for danger noodles thanks
Found with JeffEddy after attending an event nearby, we decided to see how many caches we could put a smile on before the sun goes down. TFTC

A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Great big bucket, love it!
Day 3 of caching Gone Fishn’ trail on Yorke Peninsula and a few off trail trads today for a bit of variety with Wollaston and Liz&Bruce.
Wearing gloves and gators today as it’s getting warmer and the less tourist friendly wildlife are on the move. Adding to the thrill of finding each cache was the view of perfectly grown cereal crops almost harvest ready forming a tapestry across the hills, some starting to crop with mega harvesters. Along the way are the odd blue tongue lizards, huge centipedes, flighty spiders, horses and alpacas, birds nesting and singing away, the obligatory late afternoon flies, and the biggest beetles, and of course what would a cache day be without upsetting a few ants!
So much effort has gone into setting up these trails, a few caches were tricky to find, some were under bushes that are now trees, some were found in undergrowth that has overwhelmed the hide, some were under rocks when they were hinting a bush post or tree. For the rest, most were easy, some were duplicated and some were missing. We may have added to rock piles making a couple of cairns.
Maintenance was done by replacing full or wet logs and missing or broken containers all completed with CO permission.
Thanks to the many hands and minds taking time to set out hides and showing us your part of the world

Thanks for hiding. Caching with Wollaston and SeasonedBird and enjoying exploring the area.
Another Wednesday wander for a few of the befuddled animals. The target was once more the tedious Gone Fishn series taking relief with this and others scattered around the area for which we were thankful. TFTC
Another Wednesday wander on the Yorke Peninsular.

Days Fishn' done and time to head home. [^] May as well take a different route and get some caches along the way. Called in here for a quick find and picked up the TB to move on.
Another Wednesday Wander for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solvers. Today myself Blackadders and SA Sewer Rats headed over to Yorke Peninsular in search of some more Gone Fishn' caches and others we might be passing. We commencing Fishn' from where we all needed to get caches as we were individually at different places from previous trips. [B)] Then is was off to Curramulka for some lunch and a wander around there in search of some solved puzzle and other caches. Then it was back for some more Fishn' before heading home another route via some more unfound caches of course. A very fun day.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks LíB for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

An easy find and classic cache. Great to find this one on the road I used to drive to work at Curramulka. TFTC
Out with Purrfect Di , Sebastbat , and Jack , hunting tupperware and mint tins with billion dollar satellites
Did quite a few more of the long fishy series, slowly getting there...
And so pleased to find some others along the way too!!!
This was a double bonus - because stoopid matty had been here 12 days ago but not logged as found!!!
Stamped again and this time includes the whole bunch of us ! ! !
Most caches were found in good condition, we helped out with a little maintenance here and there, where things were cracked or missing logs or just plain wet !
The roads were pretty good, a little 4wd drifting along one stretch but nothing a Corolla couldn't handle (if we had one)
Thanks for adding to the caching map out here with another nice large cache LiB

Apologies for the almost generic logs. It's hard to think up something exciting to say after 50 or so roadside drive bys

Found during a caching tour to visit some of the 'Towns of Yorke' series while over on Yorke Peninsula for a few days. Thanks for the cache LíB!
Today was planned as a numbers day, and although we got a late start, we are pleased with how many smileys we found. We mostly went Fishn' with one or two others to break it up.
We replaced one or two broken containers and didn't have many DNFs

Epic day of caching. ANZAC day usually means a caching day for me. Had decided on a day of fishing on the YP would be a good way to get some numbers. Today was definitely about numbers as I was attempting to get 300 in a day, something I didn't think I could ever do but having read of a number of teams managing 870 with team work I thought that 300 would be doable on my own. So hatched a plan to get up super early and drive to the YP. Geohusband (who had zero interest in accompanying me on this quest) suggested it would be better to drive to YP the night before, stay in a hotel and then start early. Good idea I thought.
So had driven to Minlaton and camped at the motel there which was surprisingly good and surprisingly cheap. Only downside was forgetting my precious pillow which will now need to be replaced, but that is another story.
Up early and left hotel as the bugles were sounding at the Minlaton dawn service, so stopped for a moment to reflect. Kennedy and Malloy were on the radio interviewing returned servicemen, very moving. This was followed by caches, food, caches, food, caches, football, caches, long drive home. The magpies won an epic ANZAC battle and the Bombers fans booed Scott Pendlebury, how very dare they on such a day too.
Ended up with over 300 finds, brilliant. Long drive home, stopped at Cavan and had tea and then home to shower and bed. Will this feat ever be repeated by me? I say no but never say never!!!
So onto the caches, I mainly found fishing micros but also added in some others to break up the day. I had a bit of a drive between 2 sections of the fishing line which was also nice. The fishing caches became utterly mind numbing. Base of tree, base of tree, base of tree, base of tree, base of tree. Quite a variety of hides, many more mint tins than I was expecting. Was also entertained to find my stamp in 3 of the caches I visited that I had not been to before, but that is leap frog caching for you!!! Hated the caches hidden in rocks, rocks and more rocks. There was also a very tedious section of under bush, under bush, under bush, almost lost the will to live there. No dnfs today which was an added bonus, but as many caches had just been replaced by the last fishers had expected to get them all.
Caches were mainly in good condition, a few perished tubes, a few damp logs.
Not much in the way of humans seen (other than at the Minlaton ANZAC dawn service, a lot of people at that), a few farmers, one truck and one passing muggle. Not much in the way of wildlife either, cows, beasts, sheep, critters.
Weather was glorious and perfect for caching. Started at 7.03am and finished my stint on the YP at 6.15pm, saw the sunrise and the sunset. A day of my life I will never get back but excellent for the statistics!
My thanks to all the COs, especially those behind Fishy Tales and 3LG for all the wonderful buckets on the YP.
Couldn't resist another in this super TOY series. TFTC 3LG

After finishing off the last section in the long series of fish to be found on the peninsula, we picked up a few more caches while travelling back to camp with ilook4geo. As usual, each log had two more names added to the end of the list and the container was replaced as it had been found before we moved on. Many thanks go to 3LG for placing this cache.
After having been on a successful fishing trip this morning with goingplaces2, it was time to pick up some other caches. Each one found, each log signed, job done. TFTC.
Day three of the fishing line caches, a bit more challenging today, sooo many rock piles to glance over and find the cache made the going a little slower than desired. We have decided that today will be the last and we will leave the remainder until we return next year and combine it with the geo art further down. TFTC 3LG
We were on our way back to Maitland and our caravan when we realized there was a LARGE cache on the way. As we are currently about 550 in on the Gone Fishn' power trail it was irresistible, and a simple straightforward find. Mind you, if you can't find a large in the bush you'd have absolutely no hope looking for a micro!

My sincere apologies for the late log. I have geocaching finds dating back to 2011 in my GSAK database that I am yet to log; amounting to several thousand un-logged finds across the last 9 years.
So, what to do when you find yourself in this administrative caching 'hole' nightmare? Well you seek out a 'personal assistant' (thanks GoodLook), to assist to remedy the situation of course! I thank the CO for accepting my tardy log and for your understanding.
I love the YP, it is a location I have spent a fair bit of time over the years. I certainly enjoyed collecting some of these TOY Run series.
Thank you 3LG!

This is one of 3 caches that we did, while attemping the 'Gone Fishn' series in the good company of Team Crackers, micaparamedic, Alansee & Phetlern.
With a quick detour, and a short search, the log was signed and replaced.
Lovinf these large containers.
Signed with either our group name of 'SNEECKS' or The Drovers.
Many thanks for placing this cache, 3LG, for us and others to find.

We joined forces with alansee, micaparamedic, Phetlern and The Drovers for an assault on the Gone Fishn series.
We had decided to look for caches that weren't too far from the trail and this one popped up on the screen and of course we weren't going to pass it by
This was the first in this series for us but we were to find a few more before we left the peninsula.
This was a nice quick find and our names were all added to the log.
Thanks 3LG for the cache.

Yorke Peninsula Day 4: Last day on the peninsula, so we decided to make a big dint into the fishing line today - up before dawn and collecting caches at a very rapid rate. Got as far as we could do while staying sane, then went on to collect a bunch of other cache in the area. All logs signed as the group "SWAG-JJ". TFTC!
Travelling down from Queensland with my fellow cachers Snickersallan, Waz and Vik, Ardom, Gcoven and JooJoo57. We have planned a week long adventure to collect all the geoart, the fishing line and anything else we can get. Thanks for the cache!
Day 4: Time to hit the Fishing Line. Collected a few others as we avoided the drizzle and visited small towns to drop some tourist dollars in.

Love the series. So good to find a container that holds more than a log book - at last we were able to drop off a travel bug with a sheep attached which also seemed appropriate for this location. It will have plenty of company in the adjacent paddocks. TFTC.
Found by Mary & David at 1240. After toasted sandwiches and coffee in Minlaton, we're off again. A quick find and a FP of course. Our thanks to 3LG.

Day 7 of the Perth to Adelaide trip where we started in Adelaide and ended in Warooka.
Today was the day, the main reason for the trip over, the start of the power trails on the peninsula. We had over 1400 caches saved off line and a variety of others to now find in the next 3 days prior to starting the drive.
We had planned this for quite some time and until we broke it down for caches to be found v hours in a day the thought of how long the days would be didn’t cross the minds until the night before.
Once we realised that it was going to be some full on 12 hour days we were up at the crack of dawn, energised with a good nights sleep, phones fully charged and looking forward to the day.
We had only one time pressure today and that was our second event at 8pm in Warooka, possibly a welcome break and stop after waking at 5am to start caching!
3LG We found your cache T.O.Y Run : Mount Rat thanks for placing this power trail for myself and others to find. It’s large scale trails like this that we have travelled for.
Turned off the power trails to pick up a few different caches Have a Fav point

Out for the day with LLL51 and Madham02 with the aim of finding LLL51's 1000th cache. [^] A plan was hatched and we started off with 14 caches targeted, hoping we didn't have any DNF's. The weather was not looking too promising, but we managed to get them all before the rain really set in.
Another TOY Run cache off the list. [^] I just love big buckets out in the bush.

On the final day of caching Yorke Peninsula with J+J. We had to stop earlier last night than expected due to the dreadded rain started to fall. Unknown to us in the morning was just how much rain fell! One local farmer later told us there was 15mm of rain overnight.
The extra water made our caching trip wet, and very muddy. The final highlight was having to be towed out off a muddy road by an 8 wheeled tractor!
Thanks for the all the caches.

Hi there 3LG.
We found your cache **"T.O.Y Run : Mount Rat"** at 11:56:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 17249).
We started the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then took a route that was mostly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the area & ended up finding quite a variety of container types, and sizes hidden along our route.
We found 17 caches today & DNF'd 4. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
###Thanks for placing a large cache here. It is really sad to note that the trend of placing small caches (without swaps) is increasing. While nanos and eclipse tins sometimes have their place in an urban environment these, along with 200ml Sistemas, seem to be the norm these days even out in more remote areas. It made us feel really glad to find a large, kid friendly cache here.###
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

No rats seen in the caching of this cache.
Found with four-fun during a JLWE adventure. Great weather added to this fun find and the people we met along the journey made this a weekend to remember.
Thanks to 3LG and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

A bit of a bush bash to get to this one but with such a large container how could you miss it. Sent hubby in for it. SL TFTC

Found on a TOY run of YP. A large cache does not hide for very long. Nice views. We signed the logbook.
A silver for CPwanderer and myself tonight. Definitely needed the torch here!
After co-hosting 'Another Fab Pub Lunch' event in Adelaide with Feathertop on a crazy hot day, I collected CP and drove us over to the Yorke Peninsula with one goal in mind - to collect all of the new T.O.Y. run series, a few BBB BBBBs and As Time Goes By caches.
We left Adelaide about 3pm and I dropped CP back home just after 4am, so 13+ hours of driving and caching on the beautiful YP ....the things we do for caching!!! HOWEVER, we did manage 21 golds, several silvers, plus I targeted a few other specific caches in the area.
The coordinates were excellent [^], some of the hides easy finds , others a little more challenging , but ALL of them were enjoyable finds - GEOCACHING ROCKS!!! [:X] [^]
