I am leaving the area and couldn't find anyone to adopt this caches, so I am archiving it.
A quick park and grab here too. We wondered what the lions were protecting and after a google search I now know it's the Palpung Monastery.
Had a bit of time to spare so headed out with cragger and laval to collect some local caches.
Found quickly in the obvious spot.
Thanks for the cache.

Another park and grab GROTTY. An epic series. TFTC. Located on first attempt (which should be the challenge with GROTTY series I'd suggest).
I've only collected 30 "GROTTY" caches to date so it's time to see if I can add to that number. My GPS had me in a place where I had to take care not to activate a visitor sensor. When I had no joy I widened my search a little and found a much better spot for a hide. TFTC .
Out getting Mrs TWS back on her feet after heart surgery, taking it easy

Find number 4579. In the area to collect information for a nearby multi so decided to cache a little before heading home. As I parked up across the road not only did I consider where the hide would be but also what the property was about. The cache quickly found. Thank you for the placement.
Jumped on my bike to do some trip in the area. Ended with 33km on the clock. Found some caches. This one was one of them. Nice and plesant. Thanks for placing them and maintaining.
Down South finding some easy caches for the Hidden Creatures souvenirs. Find 43 more caches to unlock the World Turtle. Nice new looking wall here. TFTC
Today was a pretty GROTTY day to go caching, but we wanted more finds on this calendar date, so what better bunch up caches to pick up quickly than these.
Actually the first stop wasn't really GROTTY at all, and we made a quick find in the obvious spot, wondering what the property inside the walls was used for. TFTC

Took the family to the Botanical Gardens for the afternoon, while the rest of the family checked out the flowers I thought it would be a much better use of my time to hunt out a few caches in the area.
Decided to make a small detour and grab a few more of these GROTTY caches while on the way to another cache. Turned out the were all in great order and quick finds too!

I was in the area today and so I decided to see if there were any caches up for grabs... and that is when I remembered that I was in GROTTY territory. So after pulling up as close to GZ as I could I had to wait for a female muggle to pass who was out walking her small muggle dog. Once she had moved on I made a nice quick find. This place has developed somewhat since I was on this road last... anyway, the cache is in good order. The log book has been signed and the cache has been put back in its spot all ready for the next finder. So thank you once again Agazo for taking the time to set up not just this cache but all of your caches. As always, I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC
Was working out this way today, and had some time to collect a handful of Grotty caches on my way. Quick find, cheers
Back out an about in sth Auckland, collecting some more of the grotty series, after taking the summer off collecting caches. I had 2 hours free, so the aim was to collect the 10 left in this area
Hunting for souvenirs (Planetary Pursuit) the second... Did quite some GROTTY caches today. This was an easy find. Spotted it immediately while approaching.
Found together with Greenkiwikids and signed as "Team Piraten!" TFTC

Hunting for souvenirs for the Planetary Pursuit I found this cache together with Piratenschatzsucher!. THANKYOU!
I used this nice day to make a Little Geocaching tour in the southeastern part of Manurewa. The weather was nice and I could find many Caches, only at three one I had no luck.
The last one for today was an easy find. Thanks for all the GROTTY's!
Thanks for hiding!

Nice quick park and grab. Interesting development going on here. Looks like some asian religion maybe.

We spent the morning caching in south Auckland. We visited many parks we had not been to before.
We also found another lot of grotty caches.
Thanks for placing this cache Agazo

Looking to grab some extra caches for the day with TheMexican and a bunch of GROTTYs was always going to do the trick. All good here and no issues before moving onto the next. TFTC
Came this way this morning on a loooong detour to work to grab a couple more Grotty's. Nice quick find around some nice stonework. TFTC
We made a slight detour on our way home from Papakura to look for this one.
The main road was very busy but GZ was almost deserted so we could search without too much concern about being spotted and were pleased to make a quick find.
We took the cache back to the car to sign and had to wait a few minutes to return it as a man walking a very large dog appeared from nowhere. It was comical to watch as he really had no control over it and it was more a case of the dog dragging him where it wanted to go.
Once he had been dragged out of sight we quickly rehid the cache and took a moment to look over the wall at the interesting building. We had no idea it was here and would probably have never noticed had it not been for this cache.
Thanks for bringing us here.

Second find of the day on a challenge which we gave up on later in favour of just having fun. We actually quite enjoyed this one, which sounds a bit like damning with faint praise as we were speculating about the building on the inside which we thought might be some form of buddhist building perhaps. Not geowife's kind of buddhism though we think, tibetan maybe? Anyway a GROTTY, but not grotty at all, and a quick find. Thanks for this cache in a spot of interest to us.
Had a free day in hand between a stressful week and the In Laws 80th tomorrow followed by a Expo next week, so this was a chance to grab a few caches that have been sitting there far too long.
So in the company of Mr MCC at 5.30am and setting off we headed north for a morning (only having leave passes to mid-afternoon) to see what we could find in the area before the muggles were up and about and we needed to locate caches in slightly less muggle intensive areas.
Today we managed a total of sixty five finds and only 2 DNF's. Not bad considering we were back home by 2.30pm.
A big thanks you to all the CO's for the effort in placing and maintaining these caches. We had a great day with lots of laughs and fun
Sorry for the repetitive logs. Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Out with Cat & Dragons on a caching finding mission, stopped at the right end of the wall and had the cache in hand moments later
Nipped out this morning to grab a couple of caches to fill in a dot day . . . . . TFTC
Yes another dot day and back out this way for work. Thank you Agazo for helping fill my geocalendar. This cache was the fastest find I have had in ages. TFTC
Out for a caching mission on Easter Sunday. Trying to catch a few caches in South Auckland for a wider spread of smiley faces! Enjoyed some plane spotting whilst searching for this one.
Nice quick find....not too grotty !
Thanks Agazo....
Not sure what they are building here !

Needed to find a cache today in order to continue my daily streak, as required by my current GIO Licence stage. It was also my birthday, too, so a celebratory cache was non-negotiable, or so I told Mr NewlynFam And so a quick GROTTY stop was scheduled on our way home.
Pulled up to this one and initially thought "oh no.... this could be a needle in a haystack!" However, reasoning took me to a likely spot first off and there it was, just waiting to be found!
TFTC Agazo.... this was day #42 of 50!

A bit dubious when i first got to GZ but cache was detected in the first place checked. Looks like another temple about to be built here. TFTC!
Decided to pick up a few drive by caches today, trying to improve our find stats after an abysmal effort last year! These GROTTY caches are good for that, however they did take us to some very grotty areas, in desperate need of a good CITO! A quick and straightforward find here, thanks for the hide.
On the road for second day in a row to pick up a few more caches in our quest to improve our "find stats" for 2016!
A quick find.

Planning to do a few of the series today on my way from Papakura to Howick.
Too many places to hide. Started at the right end and found in a few moments. Phew!
Thanks for placing this series it will be a real help to me as I am trying to get to 5,000 by the end of this year.

Out in the Takanini Ardmore area picking up some smilie faces. Ended up with finding a lot of Grotty caches.
Boy that's a lot of stones! As I drove up this road I really hoped this wasn't going to be a random placement, sure enough the cache was right where I first checked. Now, I have to find a toilet... off to Whitford I go! Then off to Omana I go!
Another Saturday morning with Miss Davieland picking up some more GROTTYs. Nice quick find. TFTC.
Up for an extended weekend with tmann421 and EK.spygirl enjoying some of the local attractions and collecting a few caches along the way. A nice quick find for us here and last one for the day before we head to Rainbows End for EK.Spygirl (or is that tmann421 . TFTC and the series.
On holiday with tmann421 and Just-Lookin. Having fun seeing lots of new things and geocaching along the way. TFTC
Another nice find with Just-Lookin & EK.spygirl.
Enjoyed the drive around for some more GROTTY caches!

5.30pm - We have been caching in Auckland for awhile. Up this weekend to add event numbers to our challenge we are working on. Spotted a huge number of grotty caches so thought we would try and tick off as many of this series. Amazed and annoyed as to how much rubbish is dumped around this region. Residents should take a bit more pride around the area. Most caches were quickly found with a trend in hiding locations. SLTFTC
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... Visiting Auckland for the purpose of attending an event today... It's been a while since we were last here, and it looks like we have a lot of work to do.
From the outset, we unintentionally began picking up Grotty caches. Before we knew it, we were up to our eyeballs in it... While most caches were quick finds, visiting each location took its toll... We have seen some of the most appalling, filth laden sites in South Auckland. The joy of receiving a smiley is counterbalanced with the need to erase ones' memory of the things we've seen. We pity any caching visitors who may think New Zealand is clean and green. Their perception of this country will be shot to ribbons on this trail...
Anyway, we came for a smile and we succeeded... TFTC.

Has been a hell of a couple of last weeks with work both domestically, internationally as well as being involved in a large trade show so am now just now catching up on logs.
Finally got a machine working only to have a main drive belt fail on me!!!!!! I would have to pass this one onto my colleague as I was heading down country the following week.
Still needing a cache of the day I lined this one up as it was on my way home.
Stopped and made the quick find.

Out and about this way for work today. With that done for another day I thought I would find a few caches before heading home. I parked up near GZ and made the short walk to GZ. Detected the hide in the first spot I checked. Always nice to execute a super quick find. Cheers for the cache placement!
First of all, apologies for the cut / paste logs... Today I had some spare time in Auckland so decided to see how many GROTTY caches I could find. I found quite a few and saw many places of varying degrees of grottiness. All good clean and / or dirty fun really. I found a spot to park around the corner and walked back to GZ for a quick find. What is that place? TFTC, Biggles.
I spent a few hours this morning chasing down some of the GROTTY caches. Thanks for the series.
Last cache for our best day ever. We were really tired by this stage after a full day out and 10km walk along the Waikato river and glad to be able to stop and grab this one. TFTC.
Found ... quick detour to this cache on the way to work this morning ... needed another cache to fill in a date on my calendar ... this Grotty cache fitted the bill nicely ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,388 for us.
Nice quick park and grab with EmCee Kiwi. Geohounds enjoyed the drive as well. Tftc
Tftc. Rats I nearly over thought it but didn't lose my head & soon had the cache on hand. 2nd to find.
A quick find for crusing5 and myself along with our geohounds. Though I do feel guilty for disturbing the local cockroach.
Was with EIR-0T at Music school, which was coming to an end when the notification came through on this cache...only 5 more minutes of class and EIR-0T would be free...doohh plus packing up time, trumpet, clarinet, French horn, and a whole bag of music and stands etc, not a small exercise at all.
jumped in the car and checked to see if anyone had logged it, and no...the race was on...navigation said 10mins to GZ...I was fully expecting a found it log to come through on the phone en-route, but the phone was all quiet....
Parked opposite GZ and noticed old tyre marks leaving the area, and instantly thought we had been beaten for the FTF...navigated past the carcass to retrieve the cache to find a blank log...just what we needed to continue our monthly FTF streak, Thanks Agazo.
