Something special or unusual goes here:One final one. I found it just before I was about to go and get a torch. The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday Trekking for the trio of puzzle solvers. I was already over visiting with the relatives on Yorke Peninsular so Ttrogg picked up S.A. Sewer Rats and came and met me at Port Vincent. [^] We set out from there with quite a few walks as we toured around clearing up the game board. ***Thanks earthlight for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
March weather in South Australia makes it maybe my favourite month of the year. And its a bonus when it coincides with a looong weekend and I can fit in some caching amongst the buns and eggs. Thanks for the cache placement and management earthlight adding to my enjoyment of the day
Had come over to the Yorke Peninsula for a nite run after a FTF and after that was done found some more to add to the smilie count. Started with 8 trads around Stansbury then headed further a field after a multi and 3 puzzles elsewhere on the peninsula before heading home after a satisfying nights caching. Pity about that one DNF The Touch of the Past series was another of the series targeted. This was the last of five in the series found tonite. I do hope/plan on getting the rest sometime. The count is now 11 done, 22 to go.Thanks to earthlight for making this cache available to be found.Cache #14500 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Cant wait!!****
Out and about today, grabbing some caches around Minlaton and Stansbury today. A quick grab here TFTC
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying the small towns, beaches, cliffs, history and ruins we encounter along the way. Thanks for the cache
Making hay while the sun shines with rain ️ forecast later today. Heading to Port Vincent and surrounds with iluvtrekking. Thanks for the hide.
A cool winters morning but hopping in and out of the car caching soon warmed us up - TFTC
Found on my one week's lovely and interesting YP caching odyssey. Thanks earthlight and X-T's.
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Quick drive by, for Mrs SG, after a little heated discussion about driving directions!! Tftc
Today is earthlight's birthday and her twin Gwen's too of course
earthlight wanted to come to YP to do some cache maintenance[^][^] and so Rex and I picked her up (late) at about 7.50am and returned her home at 8pm[|)], which was only a tad after tea time
We had a warm day with blustery winds and then rain, rain and rain all the way home
We even scored a FTF too along with my total of 24 cache finds for the day[^]
Talk about a weird day though[xx(][xx(] My GPSr had a hissy fit after the 4th cache and suddenly I had NO geocaches in my GPSr other than my previous finds I also could not use my phone and so I had to rely on earthlight[:X] telling me where geocaches were and then giving me GC codes so that I could list what I had found[:X][^]
From YP, we drove to Moonta to do the adv lab there[^] and completed that[^] then hit the wet roads to home[|)][^]
Rex was so tired[|)][xx(][|)] that the marrow bone I bought him in Moonta did not get touched[?][|)][|)] until the next day[|)]
Thanks Liz for a great day out[^] and I hope that your birthday starts a wonderful year for you![^][^]

Holidaying in Minlaton with Messy61... thought we would go for a drive and pick up some caches in the area. Beautiful day, sun warmer than the temperature rates but a good day to do some caches. Lovely breeze down this way, keeping us cool. Another cute homestead. TFTC
Another fun day caching with DoubleHelixClan and Murphy the geodog. No wildlife encounters today. TFTC
We have a small team travelling to The Yorke Peninsula from Canberra. It was decided by the group before we left that our team name would be DTY, although I act like the boss, I rarely am and so the initials actually stand for - dty73, Tankengine & Youban.
Today the team decided that it was a “tourist day” and we would go have a look around a small part of the peninsula to see what there is. But of course like true geocachers we couldn’t help taking a caching route as we went. We ended up getting a lot more than we expected, but we did have a good time.
Luckily there was a quick find here as it was cold and windy and we could get back into the car quickly. Tftc earthlight and The X-Trailers!!!

On a caching trip with Dty73 & Tankengine to Yorke Peninsula. Team signed as DTY. Looking across at a ruined house with a chill wind blowing. Kutgw
Found with dty73 and youban on our Yorke Peninsula invasion! All logs signed DTY (dty73/Tankengine/youban). - Had a great day today, in that we didn't do any of the power trails! That was a very nice change! So a nice variety and some very nice locations! Thanks!
Enjoying a 3 night stay with earthlight, while she performs a maintenance run on a host of YP caches. Staying at Coobowie in an amazing location on the foreshore and using this as base camp.
Day 1 we travelled from Adelaide to Coobowie and I grabbed a few smilies along the way

Today we travelled from Port Vincent to Stansbury and finished at Wool Bay using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.

Hi there earthlight.
We found your cache **"Touch Of The Past #18"** at 1:06:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 16925).
We cached around JLWE area again today (even though the event is over). We thoroughly enjoyed our trek & ended up finding a variety of hides, types and sizes hidden along the way. Today we found 11 caches (& DNF'd 1). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Geocaching brings together strange groupings - in this case a fish, an owl and a rat - to seek out little boxes hidden around the place.
A quick find, thanks earthlight.
A quick find, thanks earthlight.
Off on an overnight adventure with Sushilord and SA Sewer Rats to visit the JLWE event, do cache maintenance and get Owl closer to a milestone. A quick find in the logical place.
I didn't even need to look at the GPS to know I had to stop the car.
Found with four-fun during a JLWE adventure. Great weather added to this fun find and the people we met along the journey made this a weekend to remember.
Thanks to earthlight and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Lost As Time Goes Past #345241613745493. Thanks for sharing your special place with me.
A nice drive-by cache, with a good view of the ruins. Found after searching for a short while.
Out caching with My sister Liz for a few days
Driving down the road towards another cache we spotted this ruin
A quick pullover to the side of the road and a new cache was being organised
Ruins are one of my favourite type of cache placements

I was just out finding caches in the area and I found this one and noticed it had a blank logbook. And I turned out to be first! - at 10:30am.
