What a hide this one turned out to be. Sometimes, you just have to be prepared to put your hand in spots you're not going to like, and this was one of those times. I had looked in this spot previously and had no luck. With a PAF used, I knew I was on the right track. I just had to look harder. Once i had the cahce in hand, then the real fun began. But that's a whole other story Thanks to the CO for a clever and very unique hide once again.
Not many have found this one including us , leaking some claret now so its off for a Band-Aid
The big tree that fell over near this cache did not effect the cache at all and it is still there, still right at GZ, all nice and dry and waiting to be found again, by some good lookers. The big tree that was blown over has been removed so you can get to the cache very easily now, as it was before the big tree. Just keep looking and you will find it & sign the log-book. Thanks for the photo of the big tree. Cheers. The CO.
No luck today, but did find these recently fallen tree at GZ, so not much access.
Yet another name to add to the growing list of DNF's. Had to watch where we put our feet as the fallen tree has left a deep hole
First of a long list of DNF today. Mind you this hasnt had many finds so didnt feel too bad about this one.
Went to check on another cache out this way so we thought we'd check on this one as well. Yep it's still there all nice and dry and ready to be found again. Keep looking. Cheers..??????????????????
Went out for a bike ride this arvo to check on this cache. And guess what, it is still there, all nice and dry and just sitting there waiting to be found again. Good Luck and Cheers. The CO.
Two words “pure evil” including the field puzzle.
Favorite point because it’s hell on earth and it made us think!!!
But we have learnt that a “bolt” has many meanings…..take heed!!!!!!!!

Not enough time this morning to really nut this one out. Not really sure what I was looking for and don’t have the car with me in case I needed an extra tool. I’ll be back next month so I’ll try it again then.
It's here alright, just not too easy to get to. Loved the container, contents and what you had to do to get to sign the log .
Thanks again Sparra0907.
The Trip
We talked about planning this odyssey months ago, but put the finishing touches to the plan in the last couple of weeks.
We were hoping to undertake two challenges. One was to log a cache in as many counties in Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales as we possibly could, as well as logging caches that were placed on the pages of the UBD Victorian Road Atlas as well.
dalerious got to work strategically picking caches that we needed. No easy task, but he is so adept at it. I get the car and supplies ready, and drive.
We had only 2 full days to do all this in, as well as an event to attend to in Mildura.
Quite an ask, but yet again dalerious and I not only marked of all the caches we had on our list, but we were lucky enough to add more.
We had an awesome time away travelling around hop, skipping and jumping from one state to the next. With the exception of hitting one Kangaroo, no damage to the Hilux or us thank goodness, I loved driving around this beautiful area.
Next big trip Tasmania........ Bring it on!
Thanks again Sparra0907.

No need for any maintenance on this cache today.....as it is still there. Cheers. The CO.
Going to call it a day. ️ can’t find half the caches here. And I have half the bushes in my pants!!
Thanks very much for this devious cache.
Had to PAF to locate the cache container, as this was my second visit here. We spent more time here than we needed to as dalerious required this one to complete a challenge.
A favourite point from me for sheer audacity and counterproductivety.

Found with Cybergran V and her Muggle Hubby.
I targeted this cache solely for its placed date.
I now have a find for a cache placed on every Victorian public holiday needed for another challenge. [^]
I wasnt expecting such a deviously devised hide. I would have walked away empty handed but for Cybergran V's tenacity and the next challenge was accessing the log.
Well played Sir. Well played.

After a nudge from a PAF, i was onto this one quickly, but once found i was not SL straight away [:o]
I won't spoil it for others, but it was some time later when i returned the cache to it's hidey spot after SL at 17:31 on Tuesday the 10th of March 2020.
This one, in my eyes, deserves a Favourite Point [^]
Others that have favourited it too, will know why i did

Day two, in the very good company of Suscoe and the forecast of hot weather a caching course was charted close to the city.
With just six finds in three years, the last being in June '17, this one looked OMINOUS!
We searched and researched (logs) and searched again. Contact was made with a previous finder, who generously gave us a lead. Finally after more searching, the container was in hand BUT How to get in! U tube may help - well not really! Eventually the patience and persistence of Mr S paid off and our names are in the log. A very wicked cache and certainly requiring a DR a lot higher then the DR 2.0 selected by CO.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** A reassesment of the DR for this cache is certainly called for.
Thanks 'Sparra0907' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Suscoe was out and about with Phetlern on this warm Spring day.
It got to 30 degrees and it was sunny, a light sprinkle of rain at times and sunny again as well as being windy.
We focused on caches that were not too far out of town and enjoyed finding a range of caches and hides.
It was a top day and we had a great time.
Thanks to Sparra0907 for this difficult hide.
We searched for sometime and considered what the name of the cache might tell us about the hide and we searched some more.
We continued to search and search.
A PAF for some advice confirmed an idea that we had about the hide and after more searching we had the container. We would not have found this without the PAF.
But that is where it all took a more fascinating turn. After a considerable time fiddling away we finally accessed the cache log and there were smiles of relief all around.
The container is a well thoughtout and tricky conundrum.
A favourite without a doubt from us.
Keep up the wonderful work.

Had a quick look. Was a bit hot, sunny and tired so didn't keep searching as it was a bit hard today. Another time perhaps.
Found with a bit of help. Definitely would not have thought of looking here! Lizard scared the shit out of me! TFTC
How many months to the Alexandra Mega[?]
No idea, so I figured that i had better attend the event in Swan Hill to find out
Really though Cybergran V would have thottled me [xx(] if I hadn't have brought her up for this event so I had no choice but to attend
A pretty quiet weekend numbers wise however one that was filled with the usual laughter, craziness and fellowship of a caching event
I was extremely glad to be caching in numbers this weekend though [^], having spent many hours looking for caches in this area before!
Sadly, too often I heard the lament that 'this isn't fun! ' as a result of coords being off, no hint and the dreaded 'micro in the bush' style hides and the worst part is that instead of geocachers looking forward to coming back to Swan Hill, many will now avoid it
Not the best geocaching reputation for a town to have, especially considering the amount of money and traffic that a good geocache hide can bring to towns like this.
4 DNFs was much better than I had expected although that was only due to the numbers of geocachers present and the numerous PAF calls shared by many many teams [^]
37 finds for 2 days was pretty cool considering!
DNF! We came, we looked and we left without a find.

Have to log a DNF for this one as two very keen cemetery workers watching nearby didn' t allow us to search very thoroughly. Maybe next time on our travels in the area we will be successful.
We headed to Swan Hill to do some shopping but decided to have another go at
this little devil. Wow we came up double trumps.
First with the cache which was a clever hide so signed and replaced.
Second we came up with Hers&Pinkys GPS. Must have had good vision today
Thanks for placing this cache Sparra0907
