I located the disturbance in the force with ease, and after noting my visit, returned it to its home. I enjoyed the art-too. TFTC!
Up in Auckland for a day with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. Followed the hint but that did not help but it was found anyway. Thank you for the placement.
So far a very succussful dayThe Hint made hard work for this oneBut we got it in the end thanks
Decided to head out for a drive this afternoon and collect a couple of caches. Parked up at the beach and did a small loop walk. Once we determined our bearings the cache was soon found.
Found this with FMZ while out and about in the area. Nicely hidden here for an easy but stealthy grab. TYFTC!
Another nice quick find in this series. Nice to find an urban cache that doesn't have a hundred windows staring at it! TFTC!!!
So after I did the Rotary Walkway - part two ad lab, I headed off to see my very sick but cheerful mate Ross. Despite his high spirits, he was very frail looking. After the visit I came here in the later part of the afternoon.
First thing I did while in the van was to determine my NE quadrant! Got that easily sorted, so to my mission to collect a cache, was in the first place I checked. Happy about that! Now carrying on around Howick.

Spent much longer on this than I should have. Missed it a few times due to how well camouflaged it is!
So easy, but at the same time so difficult. Sometimes you miss the forest for the trees...

So we've failed to find this twice, much to the amusement of the CO.
Today we had a play date at cockle bay beach so on the way home it was time to put this DNF out of its misery.
So here we are, another find.

Just visited as was out for a walk when the DNF came through, definitely still there.
Not having the best of luck with CodeHill's Star Wars theme.
Came to GZ and looked everywhere but to no avail.
It's been a year since it's last find so I'm wondering if it's still here.
Off to find the replaced R2

A nice quick find here after a day at the beach. Our first cache for the new year, and the new decade.

*Out on a Biking Adventure with Cachewnut*
Wow , had a bit of trouble finding this one.
This cache was *Cache 2* of our Geocaching Bike Ride adventure today, and since it was so close to ‘This isn’t the cache you are looking for’ also by CodeHILL we thought we should have a go
Now we arrive at the Bus Shelter, park the bikes and start searching.
Definitely was quite tricky to get this one. Looked at the hint and looked all around where the hint was saying it could be. But then about 15minutes later one of our team found it in a completely opposite place...
Never mind - at least we found it
Thanks Again for part of our caching adventure today CodeHILL!

Took us longer than it should have! Knew it was the same CO as the other star wars cache we had just found. Looked in every nook and cranny and was about to give up. Just as we were about to leave, I was reaching to scratch an itch from the many mozzie bites we got from one of the other caches earlier, and caught sight of the cache just as I turned my head. Definite face palm. Ah well, glad we could turn this one into a smiley. Tftc
Given the previous hide we found, we probably overthought this one and thought it would be more clever than it was (though it was well hidden). Clearly, the gap between our find and the previous find helped some guardians create some natural camo which aided our inability to see it straight away.
Boxing day caching with TheMexikiwi after a festive evening with friends out this way the night before. Decided to made the most of being out here to grab some caches on the way back for good measure.
Had a good idea of what to expect here and made a quick find, and got a "Happy New Year" for our troubles from a friendly local walking past as we were signing in.
Nice spot - TFTC

I've been thinking about a star wars series of themed containers and spotting this on the map was in the area so took a look. It is sad when hard work gets muggled and the hider's craft needs to get downgraded - been there for sure - so bit of a shame I didn't get to see the original.
Quick look about and the cache was shortly in hand - all good here and thanks for the cache.

Loving any reference to Star Wars made us stop to locate this one. No problems with the find, thanks
On our way home from the movies at Howick today so had to grab a few on the way . . . . . quick find for us here today . . . .TFTC
A fantastic day out cacher hunting with the family, cache and log in good condition, thank you for placing the cache
Had to be wary of a someone gardening across the road, but able to make a quick find.

No presence of Darth Vader sensed this morning at the transport hub, just a passing inter-galactic shuttle headed to the planet 'School', and a parked spacecraft 'Camper'. A few Obi-Wan Kenoni lookalikes shuffling past. Scanned the necessary quadrant, got the required buzzing from the lightsaber, all is good here. Scribbled the necessary code onto the microfilm, and blasted off to the planet 'Work'. Great series - movies and caches. TFTC
Original container was muggled unfortunately and has now been replaced. Not as cool as the one we first placed, but is camoed in keeping with the theme.
Sadly there has been a disturbance in The Force, temporarily disabling the cache as it appears to have been muggled.
Well, we had all retrieved the storm trooper, now it was the turn of Darth Vader. Those of our dwindling group who had not already found this cache headed on down here to try and locate Darth Vader.
Stealth was required as spacecraft were landed and hidden near to the Imperial Transport Center. The rebels made there way towards the center making sure not be spotted by storm troopers and other security. Once in, the younger rebels went off in search of Darth Vader while their commanders kept watch for any one that would thwart their mission.
With good intelligence provided from home base gathered by brave souls who risked everything and the force being with them that day, it didn't take long for Darth Vader to be located. It was a bloodless battle and no lives were taken. Darth Vader was captured without even being able to unsheathe his light saber, his dark powers not being able to save him this time.
He was questioned about various tactical things to do with the Death Star, but he gave nothing away. So the rebels left their mark with him to prove that they had indeed captured him and to prove to the rest of the galaxy that he was not the big powerful creature that he was made out to be.

Found it after totally over thinking. That will teach me to look at hints first. Didn't look in the obvious place initially. Love the theme.
With the rain finally moved on for a while I decided to take the opportunity to find some caches today. With time running a bit low and hunger pangs striking I decided to make this the last find of the day. As I entered GZ a shower arrived. Not a problem here and certainly no impediment to searching. Managed to execute a quick find here. Right, time to hit the road towards home and to get a bite to eat. Cheers for the hide!
The Force was with me this morning with a nice quick find and this continues my daily streak. (Find #1666 on Day #168) TFTC although it was a tough one to open.
Once again I was out in East Auckland with Jag50 and Aiden29 collecting more caches. After walking up the hill from Cockle Bay we made a nice quick find here. Very cool container.
Out in the Eastern Suburbs again this weekend with Merlot58 and Aiden29. A nice find today.
Returned out this way with Jag50 and Merlot58 today. Wandered up the hill from the beach below. Didn't take too long for Mr Jag to kind the cool cache container.
Taking g an alternative route home tonight to pick this up on my way. No muggles around. Great container.
Was with my Niece from Canada, she found this one all by herself....her first find by herself
Another quick new one found while in area !
First time I went to search, a muggle came and sat down..so had to return later !
Thanks !
Just completed the signing and another person came along !!!

Day 43 of a 50 day caching streak done as part of my current geolicence I arrived at GZ and luckily it was all quiet, however the force clearly was not with me today as I took way too long to find this one... I was really over thinking it lol! I should've just looked in the obvious place to begin with TFTC!
Miss 10 found this cache today while spending time with her grandparents. Poppa left her to locate it as he had logged it previously. Cache easy enough to find but quite difficult to open. TFTC
Had been working in East Tamaki and finishing early thought this would be a good time attempt our cache of the day to maintain our streak.
As I approached GZ a whispered message in my mind confirmed where I should look and sure enough my first touch produced the cache.
The force was certainly stong with me today!!!!!

My (sort of) muggle husband is absolutely disgusted in me that I haven't seen Star Wars. He resolves to right this injustice, but hasn't got there yet.
Anyway, I had a bit of time to kill this morning before an appointment, so I thought that I'd better attempt to redeem myself by finding this cache.
Drove right past it to find somewhere to park, and knew exactly where I'd be looking, upon approaching GZ, thought I'd quickly check the nearby sign to see if I'd need to be aware of any approaching muggle vehicles. All was clear, so I dove in (literally, pretty much) to make the find.
Cool container!!! TFTC CODEhiill

Planned to so the Mangemangeroa Trail, but STOPPED here first, quick grab for our youngest - the great Star Wars fan in our family; unfortunately the trail was closed.

As I had a very busy morning this morning cooped up inside my office, I decided come lunchtime to get out for some fresh air. What better way to do this than by finding a cache. That is how I came to this spot. It didn't take me long to find GZ and I soon had the cache in hand, log signed, and put back before any of the muggles walking past knew what I was doing. Thanks Codehill for yet another cool Star Wars themed cache. My lack of faith was restored in the nearby views close to GZ of which I have included a couple of photos. TFTC.
Took longer to find than it should have. Picked up my first trackable which was very exciting. The trackable was in remarkable condition considering the distance it has travelled to reach Cockle Bay

We came out of light speed a little too early and initially searched on the wrong side of the transport hub before decoding the secret hint. Using this and the force we found Darth and negated his invisible tractor beam to detach him from the transport hub. TFTC MTFBWY
With a new cache in the area we walked over to pick it up. Nobody around so glanced here & there before earning the smiley. TFTC
Mini geokid went straight to this - just 2.5 hours from being first to find. Damn guitar lessons! SL TFTC
We used the force to ensure the cache was successfully located and Artoo's safety confirmed. But we sense a disturbance in the force so must remain vigilant in case Vader makes further plans.TFTC
Was out shopping getting things ready for back to school next week when I saw the publications. 6kms away...hmm shall we go?? Nah there will be someone closer. Finished at the shop and saw it was still unlogged...oh well definitely got to take a look.
Arrived at GZ and saw immediately where the search area was. Took a couple of moments to find the nicely themed cache and the lovely blank log!
Thanks for the cache.
