I'm on a road trip from the NSW/Vic border. We have been caching along the way and have now turned for home. I surprised myself that I found this one so easily

Found it!On my way home to Perth from a job in Southern Cross. Made the most of the lovely weather and stopped to check out the old bowser.TFTC

At last the weather improved and we got a rain-free search. Glad we weren't relying on this bowser for fuel though the price it was selling it for would be welcome. TFTC Kyzabra.

We are spending a couple of days around Southern Cross as we gradually make a return trip back to the east.We are having a lot of fun exploring the area and looking at the history around here. It was a lot of fun to stop at this old petrol bowser, take a few photos and sign our name in the log here. Thanks Kyzabra Domsky

After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day five travelling from Coolgardie to home in Balcatta on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. There are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that.I trucked on across the beautiful scenery grabbing many caches.It was a nice cool beautiful morning and i headed out of town to grab some caches to the north and back into town to grab a couple then headed west grabbing lots of caches on the final leg of my adventure.This was a very quick find and on a relic of the past. Thanks for the cache Kyzabra

Day 3 Leaving from Mount Helena / Aurora Ranges. Camping out for the night and managed to claim 140 finds yesterday. Plan on grabbing the last 63 then heading back to Merredin for the night and grabbing a few caches in town .Logs signed as IceH2 in honor of the series name . Moving today from Merredin to Southern Cross. We unhitched the caravan at Carrabin before ducking up the road to Westonia. Back down to collect the house then a detour to Yerbillon for the AdLab and a stop at Moorine Rock before setting up camp at Southern Cross. Then a quick trek to Ghooli for the AdLab and a stop at the only unfound cache for us in town here at Southern Cross.

Heading west for one mintue of moon shadow. This is one of stops on a long journey.

On a trip to Southern Cross to drop TB that wants to go east. Always wondered what was inside a bowser.

Found on 4/12/2022; find number 1594.
Staying at the nearby motel on my JetSki delivery run from Geelong to Perth. It would have been rude not to do the only cache in town, so I did.

Took a couple of peeks before I found something that looked suspicious.
Made the first mark on the new log sheet.

Replaced the log so all is good. Plenty of room in log.

Day 3 of a great camping weekend. Today we drove from the Helena and Aurora Ranges back to Merredin to re-stock. From there it was up to Eaglestone Rock for the night. Thanks for all the cache!

Out and about again, after camping out at the Aurora Ranges overnight, headed back home via GE Hwy. made some regular stops to get some caches along the way home with some big detours.

Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today

Out and about caching for the weekend around the Helena and Aurora Range Conservation Park with the aim to complete The Great Southern Land series. Our group consisted of Meme28, I C Nothing, Cirrus_WA, Kapelula, Sir Fancy, Leg5, Lachlan1.77 and 777Tiger.

Road trip day 2 and this was one of the caches I stopped off at on the way to Kalgoorlie. Pulled up opposite GZ but couldn't see a thing over the road as a huge triple was parked up blocking everything from view. Walked over and around, and was momentarily confused as the location looked nothing like the photo... but I did spot the old bowser sitting there all lonely. Looks like they had a clean up! Cache was a nice easy find though, it's still safe & sound All good here today - TFTC

After finishing the Great Southern Land series and Lab cache the Better Half and I were tossing up whether to stay another night in the area or head home.

It was a great day of caching but was a bit tired so we voted to head for home.

Travelling to Coolgardie, I wish fuel prices where the same as when this poor old bowser was functional. This is a clever spot to hide a cache.

Out in the Wheatbelt for a night of camping at Baladjie Rock. Cleaned up a number of caches that I hadn’t grabbed on previous trips, ticked off two new LGAs that I have been through, but never grabbed caches at. Thanks to all the COs that place and maintain caches in this part of the world.

Almost blew right past this one and did a bit of quick braking to pull over and grab the cache within moments of arriving at GZ.

Joined in on the fun heading out into the Wheatbelt for some camping with caching friends.
Left early Saturday morning and managed to get up the hill and well on the road by the time the sun came up.
The goal for the first day was to pick up a couple of new LGA’s and meet up at Baladjie Rock to set up camp and grab the new cache there.
Sunday started a lot slower and after packing everything stopped once for a cache while getting home in time to spend the afternoon with the kids.
Fantastic couple of days away had me walking in the door with 27 finds, 16 adventure labs and 0 DNF’s.

It was early morning on the Indian Pacific and saw this cache approaching - but the train just kept on choofing and I couldn’t get out.
This sign is the closest I could get
I would love to have found it.

On a road trip around the wheatbelt areas of Western Australia for a few weeks. We are enjoying the many friendly towns along the way, whether staying in the CP’s or camping out. So far, we have found every cache that we have looked for, and hopefully our streak will last as we move around to the next town and beyond. Thank you so much to the CO’s of every cache for placing them for our enjoyment. They certainly bring you to many spots that you might not stop at otherwise.

While the interstate travel is still a bit iffy we decided to spend the time touring southern WA.
We stopped here on our way to Southern Cross. It took a few minutes of searching before I spotted the container. Have I said how hard I find these types of hides.

I pulled up and spied a disused petrol bowser, so smugly cast the GPS aside. This resulted in me torturing the wrong bowser for a good 15 minutes. TFTC Kyzabra.

Probsty and I hatched a plan to knock off the northern wheat belt LGA’s after signing the Regional Cacher Challenge in Kulin. Not a bad effort, with 1000kms of driving on a cool winter’s day.

Time to head back and get the Gt Eastern Hwy LGAS.

Hi Kyzabra, found “Last Fill” today on the way out to get some wheatbelt LGA caches with Morgo. Decided it was time to knock off the northern wheatbelt LGAs after signing a wheatbelt challenge cache in Kulin last weekend. Planned a 1000km round trip for 13 LGAs today!

Last leg of my journey to Perth from Queensland. Great spot for a cache. TFTC

The final day of our drive to Perth and whilst it has been enjoyable doing all the caching over the last few days, it was going to be nice to finally reach our destination. With everything organized, we were on our way again, stopping at plenty of caches along the way. There were a lot of nice little country towns along this part of our drive, and the section from Coolgardie through to Perth is one that is worth taking the time to explore at a leisurely pace. As the day wore on, we finished up with the caching side of things and made quick time towards our destination. Another enjoyable day of traveling with all caches found in good condition unless otherwise stated.
