Unfortunately there does not seem to be any evidence that indicates that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement. It would appear the owner of this cache listing is no longer interested in the cache and the cache has been abandoned.

As such the cache is being de-listed (Archived). If there are components or remnants of the cache, please recover them as we don't want to litter our environment with Georubbish.

###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

Hi there Cache Owner,

This cache has come to my notice as there is a 'Needs Maintenance' log that that indicates there is some sort of issue with the placement and it needs your attention please.

Check out the Guidelines here: [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable the cache**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 14 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 14 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will unfortunately have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Missing cache

08-Aug-19
Even though the Needs Archive log is not appropriate in this instance (there is no proceeding NM log), it would seem that this cache would appear to be in need of owner intervention.

Therefore I am logging a Needs Maintenance log and hopefully the owner will take the opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary before it genuinely comes to the attention of a Reviewer.

After having been at the Parkville Mega event, we are now on our way west and caching as we go, of course. There was no trouble finding the cache and the log was soon signed before we put the cache back where it had been found and headed off again. Our thanks go to leoch00ks for this cache placement and for adding to the caching game.

Found with FUF009.

A 3 day weekend for both of us meant testing the new swags and caching in areas we both had loads of choice from.

Meeting at Panmure and sussing out where to camp was the 1st priority (Lake Ellingamite), then merged into 1 car and hit the trails.

We changed camping location to near Colac for the 2nd night, less bugs more wind.

We had a wonderful weekend with many interesting finds and locations. Thanks to all the cache owners.

Find # 7295

Found with sharkiefan on a camping and caching long weekend in the South west area of Victoria.
We visited from Mortlake to Port Fairy to Colac to Timboon and everything in between, and finishing up in Ballarat on Monday evening for the Giff event.

A quick find after changing ends at GZ.

It is hard to believe "The Parkville Event" Victoria's 4th MEGA is just 7 months away. Many people are working hard to ensure another great weekend - 17 & 18 November - lock it in now!
A quick find as we made our way to the pre Mega event in Warrnambool.

Satellites today had our GZ 6 metres south of where we found the cache.

Thanks 'leoch00ks1' for placing these caches.

This turned out to be my last find of the day. I came out of curiosity about the recent terrible fires which started less than a kilometre from this site. We were intrigued with the architecture of the nearby church and Presbytery, which has been restored to excellent condition and taste. The story of the Lake was also interesting.

05-Apr-18
We loved the beautiful views from here. Nice old church building across the road as well.
All good with the cache.

While on holidays in Warrnambool we headed out for a drive to check out the district. Pretty well worked out where the cache would be as we parked nearby and sure enough as i was closing the gate the same couple walked up again. This time we joked how we would pick them up at the next stop! Nice view of reserve from this side. Tftc

Ms FV had a workshop in the area today. The rain and wind certainly killed the enjoyment that would have been great yesterday with the perfect spring day. However, todays hunting to grab these caches has been planed for sometime so just do it.

How long have I stayed here when I go to the SW to work.....never gone on this walk. Luckily on this beautiful evening, sisso2 was with me so it made an outdoor adventure easy to achieve. With instructions from my local advisor, we set off to drop some paperwork and see my athletes training at the Terang Stadium, the athletes had finished so we didn't have to get held up chatting. We headed off in the direction of a church on the hill and turned on the geocaching app on the off chance that there was something in the area to add to the walk.
Yay, an aptly named "Terang walking track" - would not want to break into a trot and mess up the name of the trail, so wobbling it was. We had missed the first one, but sure enough, the beautiful bluestone church was near GZ. Stopped for photos, beating off the flies and popped over to the field and to GZ. No pen so managed to scribe on the log with some of natures tools.

27-Jan-17
Last time we were here we found the cache but no log and a note to go up the hill. Which we did and therefore hadn't signed this one. Went back today to log the cache!

19-Jan-17
Sorry for the late logging.

Did the walking track while waiting for the train. Flies were crazy today. TFTC

A couple of days ago my good friends the suscoe cachers invited me to accompany them on a long trip deep into the Western District to add a few more smiley faces to our profiles. Well you cannot knock back an offer like that so very early today with the alarm set the ageing Bushfire arrived at their doorstep early for a change.
With the bits and pieces loaded into the fairly new wheels it was off West to see what we could find.
A wonderful day to be out and about not too hot but at times the breeze was a little cool.
Camperdown was the first cache for me today and is a town I have been to and through many times but after finding the cache it was off to Darlington hoping for a FTF on a new cache that was placed a few days ago.
On arrival we were on the wrong side of the fence so to speak but that was soon rectified and the hunt started but we were not getting very far when my mate suscoe called for a small stick to help in his search so giving him my special prodding stick that I have carried for a few years it is still somewhere near one of the hints "Stumps".
OK we are now in Terang and having a look at this trail and this guy was our second and an easy find
and then we were on to the next.

18-Jan-17
Suscoe headed out today to the Western District in the terrific company of our good mate Bushfire.
It was a beaut day for caching with the temperature not breaking through the 22 degree barrier all day. In fact at times it was quite cool down this way with the southerly wind keeping things mild.
So with the Red Ant, the Squirrel and the Hedgehog in fine fettle we enjoyed a wonderful day of caching and wandering the roads of the Western Plains.

Found quite quickly here today.
What a beaut view.
The horse folks were working out down below.
What a lovely old church here too.
Thanks to leoch00ks1 for this cache.
