My stay at Point Turton has come to an end. With many hours to kill before my accommodation is ready at Edithburgh it was time to visit other areas and this was my first stop for the day. Cherry picking caches this large size cache was just what I wanted. Quiet little spot, very busy birdlife around. Thanks LiB for the T.O.Y. stop.
Found whilst touring the Yorke Peninsula, during our lap round OZ. The Yorke Pen has surprised us with some beautiful views, and the water tank art trail surprised us with some beautiful views, and the water tank art trail
I just love these buckets. Full of interesting stuff and easy to find
Thanks for bringing us here.
Thanks for bringing us here.
JTreeTrack2 and Dromaniax were on the Yorke Peninsula for the long weekend, and after an epic day yesterday of over 400 caches, we were heading back home to Victoria.
What is a 10-hour drive without picking up a few caches? So we decided we would pick up caches that interested us on the way. We were looking for Large caches with plenty of favourite points that were old and were cache types we needed for challenges or just at a spot we chose to stop. Also, any that had a D/T rating that was helpful.
Another cache in excellent condition.
Thank you for this Large Traditional cache 3LG

Day 8 of our school holiday adventures sees us hot up the west side of the Yorke finding some random caches as we meander towards home. Easy find here - thanks for the cache.
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

Found during a caching tour to visit some of the 'Towns of Yorke' series while over on Yorke Peninsula for a few days. Thanks for the cache LíB!
Gotta love a cache like this. Left some pathtags for other visitors. Hopefully they get shared around. Love this country on Yorkes and used to drive this way for work for five years. TFTC
Although it was a cold day, we enjoyed discovering some of the YP. We did a little WTY and a little Fishn' and occasionally got distracted.

A chill wind blowing this morning as we detoured into Port Victoria on our way to Androssan. A quick find of a large container at gz.
Time to move out of camp and head furhter north again, picking up some caches along the way. Couldn't take the caravan along some tracks, so felt a bit restricted today. Plenty of other caches were available to keep us happy. Found a couple of multi caches as well as a selection of traditionals, while travelling along mostly back roads rather than highways.
This cache is another in the extensive series to be found in so many towns, districts and localities of the Yorke Peninsula. Thanks go to 3LG for all these placements.

Having a lot of fun caching around the Yorke Peninsula with goingplaces2. All the caches that we found today had two more names added to the log. They were then put back in their place. This was a nice easy find. TFTC.
As It is my second day geocaching, i still need to get used to the gps. It made me walk through all the bush tftc
Spent the day clearing some more of the map around Central Yorke Peninsula. Still a few more to go though. TFTC.
Found this with CherryRose on our Four days of caching fun on Yorke Peninsula. TFTC TNLNSL
Quick easy find with Beary Organised on way to RWG Minlaton. .TFTC TNSL Left some swaps.
My sincere apologies for the late log. I have geocaching finds dating back to 2011 in my GSAK database that I am yet to log; amounting to several thousand un-logged finds across the last 9 years.
So, what to do when you find yourself in this administrative caching 'hole' nightmare? Well you seek out a 'personal assistant' (thanks GoodLook), to assist to remedy the situation of course! I thank the CO for accepting my tardy log and for your understanding.
I love the YP, it is a location I have spent a fair bit of time over the years. I certainly enjoyed collecting some of these TOY Run series.
Thank you 3LG!

We joined forces with alansee, micaparamedic, Phetlern and The Drovers for an assault in this series and after we had finished the Gone Fishin series we settled into exploring this fantastic peninsula using caching as our guide.
This was the third in the T.O.Y. run series for us but we did manage to find quite a few more in the next day and a half. What a pleasure it is to find some decent sized caches
Thanks 3LG for a fun cache that we are sure the kids would love.

After completing the 'Gone Fishn' series, and still in the good company of Team Crackers, micaparamedic, Alansee & Phetlern, we continued on to find a few more caches.
We did a loop to the eastern side of the peninsula, and back to our accommodation in Port Victoria.
This was one of the caches we found along the way.
Signed with either our group name of 'SNEECKS' or The Drovers.
Many thanks for placing this series caches, 3LG, for us and others to find.

The Yorke Peninsula has always been a drawcard for us, with its iconic stone buildings and historic ruins and now of course - countless caches. In the very fine company of Alansee, Micaparamedic, Team Crackers and The Drovers, it was an awesome blast of fun adding some more smiley tokens to our collection.
We love these kid friendly caches.
Thanks for this cache '3LG'.

In Wauraltee exploring local history and came across this cache. Couldn’t believe the size of it. TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 1705. Our track to Pt Turton took us right past this cache, so we just had to stop for it. There is always time for one more. Definitely the last for the day though. Another FP. How we have enjoyed your T.O.Y. series, especially the one close to that cemetery. Our thanks to 3LG.
tftc found on our way to port Victoria traveling from Caloundra Queensland with hubby.
We spent the week at Port Victoria fishing in the mornings and then to a local bakery for lunch.
On this day it was Minlaton's turn.
Found and signed with muggle mate on the way back and the the girls had been to Kings.
I want to commend the owners of this series of caches as they have put in a tremendous amount of work both in placement and in the research of the local towns.
Well done.

Thought the last TOY Run cache logged today was the 3rd and last, but this one is the 4th and last for the day.

I'm staying in Moonta for Easter and today I decided to go for a drive south to get some caches that have been placed since I was last here as well as a few others along the way. [^]
I worked out my route so I didn't have to do too much back tracking and I set off on a lovely day for caching.
I had a great day driving along some cool dirt roads criss crossing the peninsula and ended up with 26 finds and no DNF's which I was very pleased about as I had had a frustrating day yesterday.
More interesting history. last Easter I had Devonshire Tea in the hall on the way down to the bottom of the peninsula.
Thanks for the cache 3LG.

Easy find at a nail breaker cache
finding the cache is the easy part
Not breaking a nail in the process of retrieving the log book is another matter, for me
This style of cache cammo blends in really well with its surroundings

Whoooo Hoooooo Joint FTF with GoodLook at 8.33 pm .... the last cache we could do before pulling out the torches!! Quickly located!!
We nearly missed this one .... must have come out after my original list was made of potential FTFs!!!
Joint {*FTF*} with CPwanderer. Woo Hoo, gotta love that!! [^]
After co-hosting 'Another Fab Pub Lunch' event in Adelaide with Feathertop on a crazy hot day, I collected CP and drove us over to the Yorke Peninsula with one goal in mind - to collect all of the new T.O.Y. run series, a few BBB BBBBs and As Time Goes By caches.
We left Adelaide about 3pm and I dropped CP back home just after 4am, so 13+ hours of driving and caching on the beautiful YP ....the things we do for caching!!! HOWEVER, we did manage 21 golds, several silvers, plus I targeted a few other specific caches in the area.
The coordinates were excellent [^], some of the hides easy finds , others a little more challenging , but ALL of them were enjoyable finds - GEOCACHING ROCKS!!! [:X] [^]
Thanks for the cache 3LG!
