The area has been burnt out. I found the burnt mint tin with ash log. I replaced the cache with a mint tin and covered it with a rusty tin and a bit of tyre.We are supporting our mate who is running to Darwin (@curlyrunsnz). He ran from Alice to here. We camped up about 200m from the cache on Yambah Rd.Alicecaching, I found *29 NOAS* today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
On our travels we stopped to grab Thai cache a nice quick find, thanks for placing this series
Left Cunnamulla after QOGM 2021 heading to Sth Australia, stopped in Mount Isa for a little spell and to catch up with new friends drrnrchr and attack all the caches here. Then WA then back to Cairns June 2022. 17 October 2021 3:30 pm Tyfc Alicecaching total caches now 2832
Found during a trip from Adelaide to the northern tip of Australia and back. Traveling up solo along the Strzelecki Track to Innamincka, then through central Queensland to Quilpie, Blackall, Barcaldine, Hughendon and Ravenshoe to Cairns. In Cairns I met up with e.gregory1 and a non-cacher friend and spent three weeks on Cape York Peninsula before making our way back to Cairns and Mareeba. From there I headed on my own back home via Normanton and Karumba, Cloncurry, Mount Isa, Tennant Creek and back down the Stuart Highway through Alice Springs to Adelaide. All in all I spent six weeks on the road, visited many out of the way locations, enjoying the scenery and finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Alicecaching!
My trip through N/W Qld was great and then it all went pear shaped with border closures and I had to head to NT for 2 weeks if I had any chance of getting home.
Then more border closures hit again and it was a day by day proposal.
I stayed out at Gemtree for a couple of days to have a look around the area, then got up real early to head towards the border and Stuart’s Well for the night.
A NOAS is a great series of caches to do but quite a few of the caches are starting to deteriorate in the sun and are starting to crack and fall apart.
A maint run needs to be organised to keep these going.
Thanks Alicecaching TFTC.

After completing the OSH Series nearby, Mrs Snakepitter decided to contnue up the road to do the NOAS Series, however not sure how much we can get done with the roadworks.
Some of the containers are suffering from UV fatigue, becoming brittle, broken sides, clips or lids. Needs a maintenance run

This was the hardest to find in the NOAS series.
The container has been burnt out and all that is left is the metal hook.
Someone has replaced this with a mint tin, so I’ve attached the mint tin to the old hook and it’s back to its old spot.

An interesting series of caches. We found them all. The ongoing experiment of tropical sun versus sistema is proving that plastic will fail before the sun goes nova. Where necessary we replaced containers that were too damaged to continue. Some interesting wildlife in some of the caches. Each cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Found on a quick caching run north. Adelaide to Alice Springs and back in a week.
A target of this trip was the NOAS series. All caches were found but some are in need of maintenance as the weather has done them no favours. We replaced where we could .
A nice series but the flies and heat didn't help.

The cache has been burnt. There is no sign of it except the wire. I prepared a replacement, but then I spotted a mintie tin replacement in the neighbouring tree, so beaten to it. There is a new cache here. The flies at this stop are extra BAD! TFTC Alicecaching.

Driven over from perth to visit Alice Springs. Day 2 of being here we decided to do the NOAS series and pick up a few puzzle caches and traditionals that were along the way. Unfortunately the first 3 caches in the NOAS series have been burnt from a bushfire and all that remains is wire hanging from the tree or marbles on the ground that were in the containers. Further along the series they have cleared the side of the road and a couple of caches were missing which we replaced and there is a few caches only just hanging on by a thread as they have cleared right up to the tree. Hope the CO doesn't mind we logged the first 3 caches as a find as we do have photos to prove we were there. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches for us and others to find.
Cache has been burnt so we have replaced with a mint tin and sat it in the fork of the tree

As we finish up our time in Alice Springs and start heading north to Darwin, we knew we had one more trail and some random caches we wanted to get on our way out of town. So we set off early with hopes high of achieving our biggest day of 60+ (massive we know) Glad to have a beautiful day to stop and start along the highway. Thanks to all who placed the caches along the highway, special thanks to Alicecaching for the NOAS trail.
After spending a couple of days at Gem Tree, it was time to head
on back to Alice Springs. Loving this part of the country and were
rewarded with quite a few caches along the way. Great trail.

Reeling in the Camel caches one by one
Luckily for me,
The previous fortnight of caching frenzy has left a lot of easy to follow geotrails,
Ultimately leading to GZ at each stop [^]
Not that I'm worried !!
Gotta love avoiding getting all those nasty grass seeds in the socks [^]

An early start from Alice Springs had us ready and rearing to go at 7:40 am to commence our morning of caching. N.O.A.S. 50 was our starting point and we headed south. We wanted to smash our former daily record (which had only recently been established as part of the Red Centre Experience over Easter). We knew we were in with a good chance. Just the N.O.A.S. series would have blown the numbers skywards, and yet we grabbed a few of the older caches as well. Thank you to all of the cache owners for your amazing efforts.
Found with richlink while in Alice Springs attending the Red Center Experience Event.
We have enjoyed our time here in Alice, discovering the spectacular locations that Alice Springs and surrounds area have to offer. Our thanks to everyone involved with the event and the local caches, your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

A big day for us to mark the final full day of the Red Centre Experience Event in Alice Springs. Our aim was to set out for Gemtree and pick up a couple of caches along the way but the geocaching equivalent of white line fever set in and we were not going to be satisfied until we had cleaned up the NOAS power trail as well!
This is a generic log for all of our finds today so I am going to make a recommendation in all logs to GO TO GEMTREE! THEY HAVE THE BEST MEAT PIES I HAVE EVER TASTED! Its worth the drive for the taste test!
Thankyou to all the cache owners for placing the caches we found today.

On Day Three of the epic adventure Hevic and I had throughout Alice Springs, we teamed up with a handful of other cachers to take on the Stuart Highway north of the town. We signed the majority of our logs as **TTSS** - the **Trans-Tasman Swiss Squad** comprising myself, Hevic, yorkshirekiwi83, zuse7, granville86a, and dghoffy. I'm glad to say that we did not have a single DNF and made it all the way to the end. zuse7, granville86a and I even had races to most of the caches, and I think granville came out more-or-less on top. Thanks Squad!
Thanks to Alicecaching for placing these caches - all the finds were fairly straightforward, none needed any maintenance, and all were a delight to find. Cheers!

Day 3 of our Alice Adventure, and what a day it was! We joined up with yorkshirekiwi83, zuse7, granville86a, and dghoffy and began signing as the TTSS to save a bit of time. As I was driving, i had very little luck at group FTF, when you're in charge of the vehicle you can't throw your seatbelt off and jump out as readily as the passengers can!
Thanks to Alice Caching for this great series, it was a fantastic day out, along road we wouldnt have driven if not for the caches, thank you for all the effort you put in

A group of cachers (me, Hevic, CJ-Curry, yorkshirekiwi83, dghoffy and granville86a) who have met at the Red Center Experience at Blatherskite Park in Alice Springs started out with getting the boxes on the left hand side of the Stuart Highway only and signing the logbooks with all our six cacher names. Soon a race as to who would make the find was launched and in order to save paper in the logbook as well as time signing, we eventually came up with a team name: TTSS - Trans Tasman Swiss Squad. We also found it quite easy to cross the highway and eventually started to search for the boxes in numeric order. Most of the caches of this series will be signed TTSS. I (the Swiss part of the team) had a great time with a great bunch of people - thanks TTSS-members.
Thank you very much Alicecaching for luring us NOA and for the maintaining of the caches - they are all in good condition!

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
We spent three days caching around Alice Springs. This is so different area than bushy flat desert around it. Lots of beautiful places to see. Truly Red Centre Experience for us.
Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!
