GoodLook and I were in the USA from Australia with our primary purpose to attend the GPS Adventure Maze and GeoWoodstock XVII in Fort Worth Texas, but then our plans expanded....
Whilst in the US I attended the ASP Geobash Mega in NY State; visited family friends near Detroit; went on a long road trip where we checked out Death Valley in California, and unique sights in Nevada, Arizona, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas to name just a few of the states.
The scenery, towns and adventures were both interesting and varied. It was great catching up with US and Canadian friends (new and old), and making plans for future trips.
We certainly targeted virtuals, earth caches, Adventure Labs, events and several trails. Your virtual being one on our 'must do list'.

I decided to go for a jog to wake me up, so headed down from my hotel and was soon at GZ. It was fairly quiet given the time (8am), so I was soon able to get my photo taken. TFTVC

We were over in the United States for 16 days on a surprise trip, to visit LA, San Fran and Vegas. We spent the last few nights in Las Vegas, and on our last day, on the way back to LAX, we stopped by here to grab this cache [^]
We pulled up in the carpark, and waited in the line to have our turn in front of the sign, and took a photo

Found this on my US/Canada trip where I visited & found caches in 14 states in the USA and 1 Province in Canada.
Always wanted to visit the sign so glad to finally do it. And making it my last cache in Las Vegas as well so will remember this one.

Great spot! Our phone was the GPS so we couldn't take a picture of ourselves with it. Welcome to Vegas!

After a long day on the road, clan Gunnie arrived in Vegas and swung by this location on the way in. We were amazed at the number of people who stop here for a photo opportunity... 
We waited out turn and snapped a pic in the right spot. Then back to the car and off to the strip to find out way to the hotel. An obligatory stop on the way in to town, not one you can do after the fact....

On holiday from Australia,collecting a few caches whilst treking around Vegas. Could be in Vegas and not get one of the most famous landmarks, lots of people here getting their wedding photo's. Cute chapel down the road, and lots of traffic! TFTC
Our last cache in Vegas after a rather frenetic 7 days of caching in NV.
We were heading back to the airport to flay to LA and we figured we had enough time to stop for this one.
Unfotunately, a crowd was queued at the sign, so I snapped a quick picture of some new friends and will upload when I edit the pictures.

Found this cache as part of "Team Pee in the Road" formed to tackle the ET Highway and beyond over 5-6 days. We were due to come last year, but the series was canceled within 45 minute of booking the hotels. We did Route 66 instead, and has do much fun we reformed this year. We are.... wimseyguy (NC), nittany dave (NC) and lil'Devil (CA) and myself, Maingray (NC). Utterly fun trip, many different sights, lots of dust and belly laughs.
Been to this sign a few times, but now there is aprking is easier. Big thanks!

Greetings from Australia. We are on a bus trip getting our kick on route 66. Took photo thanks for the virtual cache. Could have photo with gps as my iPhone is my camera and gps

Heading down to the ET Highway for some caching and of course we are caching along the way. Today we left Wendover and down to Las Vegas to pick up a team member and back up to Alamo. Stamped the log as Team Geo-Pups. #6604 found on 03/05/2012 @ 05:00pm thanks Moose Mob!

After completing the Route66 Power Trail and did some cache around Barstow it was time we headed out. We where heading off to Las Vegas and getting a few caches enroute..
Did some caches in down and in the evening a stop here but it was packed and had to wait for a park and then try and choose the time to get a picture , perhaps we should have got this earlier in the day, well we where here finally and I did get my picture ..

I had to hire a car today so I could go and find a few caches.
This was a high priority on the way past, and there was always a lot of muggles there.

Walked past this cache on our way to the discount shopping centre (Think we are the only people ever to try and walk from the strip to the shopping centre, it looked clsoe on the map)
