Found it. Visited this caches in a sunday evening and night with a car in a short trip to australia. I'VE FORGOTTEN A PEN TO SIGN THE LOGS . Greetings from Brasov, Romania
Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to Alicecaching from mogni

quick find. replaced log sheet. easy 2wd this far even after the floods.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

Found during a fun day out with JJ52 where we tackled the Larapinta loop and cached along the way. Both of us kept commenting on the variety of landscapes and vegetation seen during the drive.
I would like to have traveled into Owen Springs but time and vehicle type meant it wasn't possible.

A day out with sushilord had been organised heading for Hermannsburg and doing the loop calling in to St Helens and picking up as many caches as we could along the way. We had both solved the puzzle caches along this route and they were targeted as we went past. [^]
It was a near perfect caching day, with 27 caches found, lots of amazing scenery, history and geology with numerous photos taken where we stopped. This was the highlight of my visit to Alice Springs.
One thing I will remember about caching in Alice Springs is....rocks, rocks and more rocks.
We made a little detour to come and get this one.

We are heading off on an outback adventure with Mrs Just a Trifle looking forward to visiting Goodward Station in Boulia, which was once owned by her grandfather, and Mr Just a Trifle hoping to climb Ayers Rock before it is permanently closed to climbing
As usual, with responsibilities caring for grand children and elderly parents, we still can not take the time we would really like to explore this great land of ours so yet again it is mostly an express trip through some terrific locations.
We had no difficulty in locating the cache and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our way.
Thank you Alicecaching for placing the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Took some visitors for a drive, ended up joining the geocache adventuring. Cool thing to do. Will keep an eye out for any others when I'm driving out bush
I was heading up to Alice Springs from Adelaide on my own to meet up with FeatherWaite and decided to deviate a little to make the journey more interesting.
I ended up travelling via Lambert Centre, Finke, the Old Ghan track, Chambers Pillar, the Hugh River Stock Route, Rainbow Valley, Owen Springs Reserve and a trip out to Ruby Gap for good measure, finding a few caches along the way. It took me a few days longer, but was well worth it.
I visited this one as I travelled south to north through Owen Springs Reserve.

The Big Western Australia trip in 2018. Day 8. I spent the day around Alice Springs collecting some caches we did not get to last year. I found some very rough roads along the way.
I have driven the reserve track a few times now, but today it was just tome to get this one near the entrance.

Travelling around Australia for 2018 and stopped off in Alice to visit daughter for 5 weeks and although we've been to Alice before we are finding new places to visit. Thanks to the mega last year lots more caches too
WHOOPS! I'm logging about 100-200 or so caches like 3 months after the trip that we found them on! Completely forgot to log these but I did not forget the trip! Found this cache along with many others on an adventure around the red centre. Along this adventure we visited and explored many phenomenal and surreal places such as Woomera, Coober Pedy, Uluru and Mutitjulu, Kata Tjuta, Wattarka, Tnorala, Both East and West Macdonnell ranges, Arltunga, Ruby Gap, Palm Valley, Parts of the Finke road, Boggy Hole, Rainbow Valley, Old Ghan Route, Chambers Pillar, Oodnadatta track, Mount Dare, Dalhousie Springs, Painted Desert, Moon plane and I'm sure I've missed a few! Thank you so much for the cache. Found with Ferociousflea and -Beaker- along with our mint 79 series that accomplished alot in this two week time frame.

We spent the night at Erldunda and had plenty of time to make it to Alice before nightfall so we took a leisurely drive through the Owens springs reserve picking up caches as we went.
It looks like this is the last cache for us on our little 4wd detour and it's a real shame as it was very enjoyable. The cache was located quickly, after adding our name to the log we checked and found that a lot of people from The Red Centre event had found this one but must have turned around and gone back from here. It's a shame because they don't know what they have missed.
Thanks Alicecaching for placing this here.

We were on our way to Owens Springs reserve for the day with DazzPete and ahomburg, and we stopped off at this point to air downthe tyres in anticipation of off-road fun. In that process of the finding and signing, another carload of cachers turned up and we had a nice old chat before we hit the dirt and they continued on the bitumen in their hire car.

We had most of the new puzzles solved before leaving home, and with a bit of help from a few friends once here, the remainder now are added to the solved puzzle list. So today it is a trip out to Hermannsburg to collect them on the way out, then, as time permits, the other traditional caches on the way back. This an suited Venn Family, Patrol14 and Rothy6, so in two cars we set out for a drive along Larapinta Drive.

Day 9 in my adventure to Alice Springs. Today was a bit different, I would hang out with some really cool people in skullracing, the geo princess and dazzpete. The aim was to get some higher terrain caches in the Owen Springs area and then see where the roads took us.
Heading into the reserve now, we reduced the tyre pressure (We soon learnt this was not necessary) and headed down the sandy road. Beautiful area.
Many thanks to Alicecaching for the cache. TNLN.

Discussing this cache at the previous one with .K.B. and Mickeydv, they wondered if the road in may not be suitable for their car, so we offered to accompany them in our 4WD in case. It turned out fine for both vehicles, and we were glad to assist them in return for the kindness they'd shown us at the previous cache.

Well, the mega is nearly upon us so i am trying to up my total to reach a milestone for the event. I am a quality Geocacher, not a quantity one, i have been doing it for 13 years and still not near 1000. I cache for the scenery in this beautiful country so i followed the old Ghan line south for a bit, than cut through the Stuart Hwy and back up through Owen Springs road and back to Alice in the dark. 12 for 12 caches for the day and some spectacular scenery and history to see.
