Will be archiving this even on Sunday the 4th of June to allow any attendance that may not be logged yet. Thank you once again to everyone that made it to our event.
Couldn't make this one unfortunately as I had to visit the in laws in Kingaroy, as I was there I decided to do some geocaches to feed my habit lol
Time to get out of the big smoke I said. Saddled up Ms Suzee`, grabbed Fangsoki, kidnapped Crew153 and headed north. Waaaaay north. Goodness me, nearly 600kms by the time we reached here and we have to go back yet. I was aware this event was on having originally intended to be in town on family business before it got canned on Friday ... figured we had to go somewhere, why not come here still.
We rocked up, swapped some tags, photo'd a stack of TBs on cars and a human, met some new people, and some not so new. Some younger, some not so younger. And Mr Syk1 himself - fantastic to meet a great adventurous soul. And your gorgeous family (G'day all). I look forward to more chats online and perhaps a catchup whenever I can as I visit Bundy regularly enough.
We still had the drive back to Brissy to do, and there was an Unda-pilgrimage to be unda-taken first ... but that's a story for another log.
Thanks for holding this event, Syk1 and HappyJoJo. A fantastic time was had at this, my 73rd ever event.

This event was the trigger for Fangsoki, Pprime and myself to undertake a road trip from Brisbane. The others actually picked me up form Mooloolaba on the way through as I was having a few days R&R there.
We had a couple of older caches targeted and they took a bit longer to get to than we had anticipated and after grabbing some take away in town as we came through we arrived a bit late and had to scoff down our lunch impolitely in front of the others at the gathering.
It was good to catch up with some old faces and put faces to names of new acquaintances.
Thanks Syk1 for putting on the event and giving us the incentive for the road trip.

A wonderful event, lots of happy faces and great activities. Thanks to Syk1 for organizing this wonderful event - it was great to meet you and your family.
Attended with a group of other geocachers not from this area. Very well organised and executed. There was something for every one. Good to catch up with old friends and also to make some new friends. TFTE Syk1 and HappyJojo
Today is the day for Bundy's big event Having spent the night camped at the CO residence, this morning he was looking a little dejected Over a morning cuppa, he informed me that all his caches for today had been published I did feel for him as the same had happened to me in Nanango a couple of years ago
On checking my phone, no they weren't up hang on I'll give you the cords I beamed back at him.
So at approx. 0900 I started searching, by 1130 I had 7 ftf's and feeling very chuffed
So on to the event, what a great turn up of geocachers from near and far [^] what more can I say, except, communisations to those that didn't, couldn't make it, you missed out on a very great experience.
A special thankyou to the CO for his hospitality and the work that he put into these caches and the event this afternoon

Oh the randomness that can be our lives...
The three of us (Crew 153, Pprime, and I) didn't know we were heading to Bundaberg or our timetable until Saturday evening. Everyone loves a well-formed plan
But heading to this Event was definitely on the cards - so we rocked up somewhat fashionably late with our lunch.
It was fantastic to meet Mr Syk1 - a very friendly fellow indeed. It was also great to catch up with some familiar faces and to meet a few new ones. It has been over 5 years since I attended in Bundaberg - so it wasn't totally surprising I didn't recognise lots of faces.
Lots of happy faces - what more could you want out of a Geocaching Event? A great time indeed. TFTE Syk1 and HappyJoJo

Certainly not a Bundy local and only knew about the event Friday night. Happened to be in town to catch up with Liz and Bruce so why not get in an event as well. Thanks to Syk1 and HappyJoJo for putting on the event. It was good to meet some new cachers as well as the group assault underground.
What a great day!
Once again thank you to everyone who attended and made for another successful event. A special thank you to YOF (youngoldfella) for donating some great items towards our activities and raffle.
I am especially thankful for all the great advice and feedback I received from a few veteran cache hunters/CO's which I hope will make my future cache listings even better.
Thank you all once again and hope to see you all again soon around the tracks.

Unfortunately, family circumstances have changed and we are now not able to attend. Wishing everyone in attendance all the best.
I have worked out a basic schedule for the event, can't wait to see everyone there.
1:00 PM - Event Start / Welcome
1:30 PM - Kids Activity (Strange Trees)
2:00 PM - Stamp Stampede
2:45 PM - Raffle Draws
3:00 PM - Event End (and hopefully an extra surprise!)
There will also be face painting by HappyJoJo for the kids and plenty of time to meet and chat with other cachers.
Just a reminder to bring your own snacks and drinks, and maybe consider insect repellent as well due to the location.

Just arrived in Maryborough. Spoke with youngoldfella in nanango who mentioned the event. Count us in (2). Moving up here in the next couple of months. John & Vick
Only a few days to go!
We are getting excited and have almost everything ready to go for the day. Just wanted to remind everyone food and drinks will not be available at the event so please feel free to bring some along with you. If you can please bring some insect repellent as the mosquitoes and sandflies are sometimes a little annoying later in the day.
We will be trying to post a timetable/schedule in the next couple of days so please keep watching.
Thanks for all your support and we are looking forward to seeing you on Sunday.

Sorry, as We no-longer live in Australia we will not be able to attend.
I am however in a position to give our caches to a local who may like to take ownership of them. You may want to discuss this at your event. If nobody is interest in take our remaining caches on, I may archive them to open the space up for others.
If someone isinterested in taking on our caches let me know and we can start the adoption process
Cheers And Happy Caching

After talking with Keith it sounds like it will be a great weekend. It will be great to catch up x2
G'day everyone!
Less than two weeks to go until the big day and we have been busy organising and planning for the event. As well, a few members of our Bundaberg Geocachers group have been doing what they can to ensure most of the geocaches are active and well maintained for our visitors.
At the moment we are still trying to get a few pieces together for prizes and have had a few people offer their support. I would like to thank those who have offered support and assistance as any help is greatly appreciated.
Hope to see you all soon, and until then....

We are not yet home from the Alice Springs event but we are back in Queensland. We look forward to attending this event. Thanks Syk1 and Happyjojo
Am planning family responsibilities in Bundy with this event in mind so I can attend. Looking positive at the moment (just me, rarely described as adult, but am old)
We hope to be able to attend (2 adults) - looking forward to meeting the local caching teams.
Will be there for this one (2 adults). Toowoomba was closer for me to attend the last event for the souvineer. Looking forward to meeting the locals old and new as well as a chance to maintain my hides and more than likely hide some more. Also have to find some as well. Will be permanent reside nts up ther in 2018.
