Today I targeted some multi's with mixed successI enjoyed seeking out this one and not disappointed with the findAll in excellent condition. The camo works wellMany thanx to Knightyme for the cache and ongoing maintenance
Found at 8:27 after an errand nearby. Lots of traffic made for slow going getting in and out of here, but once there, I worked through the numbers and found quickly.
One of five multis logged today as I race towards 1000 multis at a truly glacial pace (today is an aberration). This cache kept me entertained for ages. I quickly worked out where GZ was, but I could not see a cache. The hint wasnt helping me so I went to old logs, and its interesting how seemingly helpful comments can send me in completely the wrong direction. I persisted, and suddenly, finally, I could see what Id been missing. Once youve spotted the cache, the camo doesnt look especially good, yet clearly it works, it certainly did on me. A Favourite Point for keeping me amused for so long knightyme, thanks for this multi.
Grest multi with well camoed final!! Found while in the area with LittleLeah79 and kiddletsTNLNSLTFTCTTFNBeaker DGS.
This is fantastic!!! Looking with phone torches and was about to leave when "gold" struck. Found with Beaker. Great camo! Loved the multi, thank you x
I struggled to get EA but apart from that getting the numbers was pretty easy- it was turning them into coords from the random order that they were that was the challenge! At first I made a mistake but I re-checked and came up with a spot that looked much more correct. Sure enough, there was the cache, beautifully and aptly camouflaged. TFTC- we will remember them.
Stopped in this park for lunch and realised there was a cache to be found of course so after demolishing the best chips Ive ever had, I was off to quickly find the week camoed cacheThanks Knightyme for bringing me here and contributing to this great game for others to enjoy. Happy trails, Deanside
Passing checked as I had to go do maintenance on another cache. All seems ok, cache still in place and in good condition.
Cache has water inside, broken pencil and pen wasn't working, couldn't sign but was definitely a great cache, very impressive!
As we needed a multi today for our calendar, we made this cache our first attempt for the day. Data collection was straightforward. Then it was a short walk to GZ where, despite accurate coordinates, it took a minute or two of hunting before this very well cammoed cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache - it earns a favourite for the cammo.
Was doing a minor cache maintenance run and though I have not checked on this one for a while, so here I am ... looking at a spot that no longer has the place the cache was hidden in.
So I decided I would look at the next closest place on the fraction of 1 percent it was re-located, sure enough it was. A huge thank you to the park staff that did that (I presume).
End Co-ords will not be updated at the moment as there are 2 possible placements, and it is not the one on the ground. Cache was moved a little to make it slightly less obvious. Cache is in good condition, the insides are surprisingly dry, cache is a go.
As always carefully recon the area, and make a surgical strike to achieve objective.

Clever little multi. Was lucky to almost walk into the cache at GZ. Great camo

A nice cammo. I've only one or two like it before. Deserves a faw point from me. Thanks Knightyme.
That camo is amazing. No problem getting coords but it took me ages to spot the cache! A fave for me! TFTC
Waiting for family to come back from a movie, I calculated this one mostly in my head, wandered past gz 3 times with the dogs as cover, then had to wait for a muggle to catch his bus (on a Sunday, so you can guess how long that took). Signed and replaced in record time.
I recall finding the previous cache's log in Lynton Reserve after it had been cleaned up by the council workers. Didnt really count as a find.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 7. And just like that the working year is over. We get a half day now, so I went out after lunch for a short caching trip. A few multis and a where-i-go. All worked well and the caches found without issue.
I almost failed the second part of this, but I eventually noticed the right item. Then I made a calculation error and went the wrong way. I should have known. I have found a cache there before.

Found after needing something from the nearby shop but couldn't resist this because it was a multi and I'm chasing 500 multi finds.

I had previously done this cache but somehow missed it, back today and managed to make a quick and easy find. Cache is well hidden and camo’d

Needed a puzzle and a multi for today’s calendar date so headed to Unley to collect both.
This was a nice little multi (the UK has a massive series of War Memorial multis that I have enjoyed doing whilst holidaying in UK) and thought it was going to take ages to locate the final but quickly has the cache in hand signed and replaced.

Found while out on a caching afternoon with Shotflames. We collected the information at the waypoints pretty quickly and headed to GZ to make the find (nice hide). When we emerged some muggles asked us if we were looking for something (doh!) so we let them know we were geocachers and there wasn't anything nefarious there. Oops! TFTC
The day of quick caching began here with Bektheraccoon. This was a pretty straight forward multi. All seemed well, until we emerged from the final coordinates to have some muggles asking us what we were up to (oh dear!). But luckily, the nice group of people were intrigued as to what we were doing, and it seemed like they knew some fellow caches at the same time.
Great cache container. TFTC, Knightyme. Found with Bektheraccoon.

Went for a maintenance run this morning around 3am when I checked this one. As far as I can tell all plaques, signs, engravings, monuments, are still in place, not sure what the problem is on that front.
As for cache, there was some damage where it used to be, but I sighted it ~1m away in a suitable place so I wont update the co-ords. Cammo seems to still be in good order, did not check the contents, I will assume all is ok on that front.
As far as I can tell all is as it should be, cache on and enjoy the short hunt to GZ.

Have had these coords in my phone for a good 8 months, have come on my own a couple of times and haven't been able to find it. Today I happened to be in the area with my geopartner and he's always much better at spotting them then I am. Of course he managed to spot it within seconds! Signed as J+V. TFTC
The 1st Community Celebration Event in SA that we attended this morning was a ripper![^]
Although it was an early start to the day for Mrs travellinbees (our travellin companion for the day), Rex and I[|)], this event made the day[^]
Great to meet some geocachers that I'd not met before and also to see some that I just haven't seen for a while
Final tally for the day was 6 cache finds and 1 event attended
Been to this park before for a cache and that's ok as it is a lovely park [^]
Rex had a splash in the creek on our way in and then on our way out 2 small children were having a splash in the creek too
We gathered the information, looked at and read some history and then made our way to GZ where Mrs travellinbees made the find

Came back when it was slightly darker to give this one a proper go - and I'm very glad I did. Incredible camo and a satisfying find, some effort went into this one. Thanks for hiding it! (Can confirm that the extra cache TravellingSister decided to hide after a DNF is no where to be seen and should be removed by them)
I happened to be in the area ... after spending 15 mins driving directly there ... and decided to check for myself. Walk up to GZ, spent 15 seconds and there it was, as if it had never moved, which is always nice to find ones cache pretty much exactly where one left it.
Cache is still there, log book in reasonable form, insides are dry, some pencils, and a few swag items, so all is good and waits for the next person. I did not know of the replacement cache, so did not look for it.
While you might not be a fan of walking across the DMZ, it will need to be done to achieve mission objective. Form a plan of attack to minimize disruption, I recommend a night mission to avoid detection.

Think I had the right coords but not a fan caches that have you stepping into garden areas. Will return and recalculate and try again in the future just in case.
I found the second waypoint first by accident as I was not looking at my gps as I approached. It was a simple matter to find the first waypoint and then work out the coordinates for gz.
The previous finder indicated the cache was missing. I can vouch the cache is NOT missing the original cache is right there as it should be according to the hint and a straight forward find.
Previous finder should remove their find and their temporary cache which I did not find and didn't spend any time looking for it.

Needed one more cache to at least finish this stage of the museum series and this was one of the few unfound caches of this type close to work. So Lunchtime came and I hopped in the car and headed for the area. Parked nearby and wandered to the posted coordinates and gathered the information, except for one lot which eluded me. Went back to the car and reverse engineered a couple of things to get a set of coordinates. Wandered over to GZ and did not take too long to locate the cache. Opened it up and found that it was half full of water. Drained that out and recovered a drenched logbook. Found some pages where the middle was dry enough to write the name and date. Dried out the container as best I could, but it looks like the log book might need replacing and the container needs to be investigated to see if there is a leak somewhere. I could not hang around as there were muggles approaching and I needed to scarper quickly.

Out & about with LiB after this morning's event...
I had collected the required numbers some time ago and I think the weather at the time stopped me from getting the cache...

This is one of those caches that is hard to see but once seen you can't unsee it...

out for the day with sir_spectre. After completing my first D/T loop we targeted multis for the rest of the day. All multis where found and all caches where in good condition.
found with jacknor. After finding the cache that completed jacknor's 1st D/T loop we went hunting multi's for the day. Found 16 and no dnf's. quick multi to work out. Muggles where a semi problem but the hint helped narrow down the search zone.
Needing a few caches for the day I went out in search of a few multies that I had finals for but had yet to convert into actual finds. The first had almost become a nemesis cache for be before a hint from a previous finder narrowed my search and the cache was quickly found today. The second was a simple find after gaining the info on a previous outing.

I visited the start of this multi a month or so ago, only to find that the archway had been completely fenced off, was inaccessible and the required information wasn't able to be viewed from any angle!
Nevertheless, I thought I'd have a look about and soon discovered what I thought might be the next waypoint. Using the information I collected there, together with a bit of logic/reverse engineering, I was able to narrow down some options for GZ.
However after a search at both options for the potential GZ that I had calculated, I ended up empty handed so I decided to leave it and return some time when the archway was accessible again.
Today I was back in the area with FeatherWaite and, after a quick search at one of the locations I had previously calculated, the nicely camouflaged was soon discovered.
I also noted though, that the archway is still inaccessible and by the look of the civil works going on, is likely to be that way for sometime. The CO may want to consider temporarily disabling this cache until the works are finished.
Thanks Knightyme for the cache.

I'd done the research on this nice multi many months ago and had been back for a search on at least two previous occasions, each unsuccessful of course. Teamed up with e.gregory1 today and its amazing how an extra pair of eyes can help in crossing off a cache that was teetering on the edge of a nemesis. Thanks for the cache Knightyme!
Wow Knightyme what a great cache. I like where you put it, and the effort put in to the cache. FP from me
We were down the road for a birthday event, and convinced jesswrigley to swing by this one with me. We solved the initial values, although one source of information had us scratching our heads for a few minutes until jesswrigley spotted it. We suspected where Waypoint 2 would be, and grabbed that last bit of information to head to GZ.
The well camouflaged cache had us looking for a good five minutes, and there was an obvious location to be searching from. Scanning the area meticulously, and then jesswrigley spotted the prize in front of us. Greta camo indeed, many thanks!

Dropped into this cache on the way home from work, went to the listed coords and obtained most of the numbers, but struggled a bit with "EA" and then saw it - doh! LOL
Continued the hunt and went to the final coords and stood at a likely spot for a good 5 minutes before I spotted the well camo'd cache - yes I almost bumped into it before I found it Log signed.

This was take 2 for me on this cache. Like several others I had trouble with the EA the 1st time while trying to do it with gral4. Eventually we gave up frustrated.
Looked like history was going to repeat itself and then suddenly I spotted it . Relief!
Now at least I had some decent coords so a search was made and the nicely camo'd cache was finally found

Headed down to the big smoke for the Begin You quest for Hidden Creatures Event. Arriving early I met up with mogni who had the same idea. So we headed off to find a few caches until event time.
First WP no problems. Second WP even quicker. GZ the problems started. I had a big deja vu moment. It seemed so familiar. We searched for a good ten minutes before we invoked the voodoo. Mogni phoned a friend and as soon as he answered I found the cache. It is amazing just how often that happens. The camo was so good in the night I had walked past it three times in the dark.

After putting off my second visit to this cache for a while, deeming it too hard, I returned this evening for a second shot. I don’t know what compelled me, but I had a suspicion that I should collect the required information again and see if it was more promising this time. Well, I’m glad I did because it turns out I’d been looking in the wrong place last time, how embarrassing. Tonight the find was made quickly in a familiar area. Nice camo! TFTC
I reckon my caching skills are a bit rusty after my recent slump and I can't believe it's been so long until I've finally searched for this cache! The first set of coordinates were fairly quick to get through besides the 'EA' numbers stumping us for a short period before the humorous moment of discovery. The second waypoint was easy peasy and we were quickly on our way to the final stage. We reached the final stage and noticed a man sitting in his parked car nearby. At first I couldn't tell if it was a person in the car or if the reflections on the window were making me see things so I started walking towards the car, only to find that it was indeed a person and he was looking rather panicked. Whoops, I guess I'm in my late teens, wearing a hoodie and walking purposefully towards a man's car at midnight... need to be a little more careful in situations like these!
His presence wasn't a problem as we live nearby and had other things to do that night so we decided to leave and return later. 40 minutes later we were back, and a spot that I once thought was definitely the cache turned out to definitely not be the cache, it was at this point that we realised we were in for a lot more of a search than we expected! We spent about half an hour or more poking around everywhere and checking every spot we could imagine but couldn't seem to find the cache. After all the logs mentioning the trickiness and the nomination for SAGA, we aren't surprised so we'll definitely be back soon for another hunt or several.
Thanks for the adventure Knightytime!

Another Tuesday night caching with Moneydork, and tonight we went around and cleaned up a few new published finds in the inner south, and finished with a long multi we have both started and stagnated on previously, so it was nice to get that one off the books.
A very well camo'ed cache. Like others, the J had us confused, but we managed to figure it out in the end.
This was find number 4 of 5 for the day for me. TFTC Knightyme!

After climbing too many hills, Mrs Muff and Owl separated from their male companions and went in search of easier prey. This was the last cache before Owl needed to collect Raven from the city and an interesting one. there was some debate about the value of J, but stage 2 was logical enough. The cache blends into the cammo much better than the original, so hopefully it will stay around for a while. Thanks for an interesting and well-put-together multi.
Out with an Owl doing a couple of flat land caches after climbing hills earlier in the day. The information for this cache was easily obtained, this always helps with the enjoyment of the experience. As with others not sure about "J" but as a last number in the co-ords it was not going to make a lot of difference and on turning around it was obvious where we needed to be. All the information gathered and a final calculated it was time to look for the hunt, Owl was in the right position wo find and was rewarded with a TB. SL TFTC
Found It!
The first couple waypoints were relatively simple (although not sure where J was meant to come from?) and I got an answer for GZ. Why oh why does every cache in this park need to be within meters of that object near GZ that's covered in people and school kids?! There is so much of this park and yet the caches are always placed there?! Thankfully this one was a big bigger which made for a quick find - and on the side facing away from the people which was good. A minor milestone for me to - 9300 cache finds!

On a RDO i took advantage of a lovely, sunny but nippy Winter's day to find me a True-Blue Aussie Multi and pay my respects at the same time [^] Gathered the required info but was initially stumped about the 'End EA Area' part... "What EA, there was nothing about EA?" I said to myself then I sat myself down and just looked around at the lovely park and the 'EA' as soon sighted [:o)] off to WP2 then the final but had to wait for the right moment to make an attempt at a search, it being daylight and all. Coast is clear? Cache in hand quickly which is always refreshing in a reasonably exposed spot [^] Sat myself down and SL at 10:11 on TGIF, 2 June 2017. Loved the work on the Camo! Replaced as found with not a muggle in sight (For Our Fallen, the work on the Cache Camo and all those Ammo-Cans now "Retired as Geocaches" out there supplied by our Armed Forces, i'm offloading a Favourite Point for this li'l Gem) TFTC Knightyme
On the way to tonight's event at Unley so thought we would drop by and have a go at this new one!!!! Information collected and we headed towards GZ only to find a gaggle of school girls nearby..... well ... I'm assuming they were school ids .... by their language they were more likely drunken sailors in disguise. They weren't the least interested in us but it did slow the search as its hard to be stealthy at this end point!!!!! A very very very very very very well disguised container!!!!! Thanks Knightyme for the hide...... a favourite!!!!!!
So what better way to work of a sniz and mushy sauce after the Cremorne event than to Remember Them. So part of Wayne's World accompanied me to the park or remembrance. But what's this? There was a torch in the moon light. As we approached (hoping that someone had done the numbers), but who should it be - than the CO. I'd previously sat next to Knightyme at dinner.
What's the problem.
You see he had lost his specs somewhere. He was fishing around in a certain location and it soon became obvious it could be GZ. No sooner had I started looking on the ground then Wayne found them. Woot. And what's more he had also jagged the cache.
The CO was most grateful, and so was I. It felt like minus 5 with wind chill in the park. A quick astronomy lesson for the mini event (finding west using a crescent moon) - then we headed off. me to the North, Anymules to the North, and the CO south-westish.
Thanks to Knightyme and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
Headed over this way after dinner and found the cache owner frantically searching around as he had lost his glasses. Looking around I spotted them hanging in a bush, and also came across the cache container at the same time.
Thanks for the cache Knightyme. Found on 31 May 2017 at 8:42 pm. Find #4735.
