The market held its final meeting recently and is permanently closed. The caravan park is going to stage its own mini market fortnightly to replace this one. The sign is gone with just the empty steel frame still standing. I went to pick up the container again today but quite a large group was having a bit of an impromptu gathering under the veranda. I could clearly see the container from the car as I did a lap of the car park, but there was no real way to get out and remove it with all those eyes on me. So at the moment, it is still there and I will try again for the third or fourth time to pick it up. Last time it was senior cits night. Hopefully I will find the place deserted next time!
The Riverland Farmers Market has temporarily closed down, so it looks like they have removed the sign. The last finder says the cache is there, but I don't know on what, so will disable until I can check.
Not sure about the hint here, but found the cache from the car!
Out today with Nettieknows for a trip up to Berri to do some caching and have a look around the local area, great to find a range of caches with different DTs

Thanks Crane2 for placing this cache, found very much in the open....needs new log. Signed paper that is in bad shape. Smile for us.
Just in the riverland overnight.
Seemed like an opportunity to see the stars and do some torchlight caching!
Yours was one of the lucky ones I visited
An easy find at night with no muggles.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache crane2

Today there was no market and surprisingly very few vehicles or muggles, but we did find a cache and a munzee. SL TFTC
On our little caching tour through Berri we searched for this one, too. On a quiet Monday evening no muggles were around so it was an easy find.
Thank you for showing us this place! Unfortunately we cannot wait until Saturday to buy fresh fruit.

Apologies for the late log. This was my final day of an epic four day caching trip to South Australia and this was the toughest day of the lot. It was 40C in the Riverland and the hot, dry and dusty conditions made it tough going. My original target of caches to find had to be toned down and aim for a more realistic number for the conditions. Main targets were Wandering Heroes caches and a few others along the way. I was staying overnight in Monash so having cached down to Alawoona I headed back north and stopped in Berri to recharge my batteries at the Berri Hotel. After some much needed refreshment I grabbed six more caches around Berri to make it 107 finds for the day and 850 for my trip. Nice and quiet around here with no sign of market sellers or buyers so I was able to make the find in peace. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache crane2.
a nice easy one as the temperature began to climb. cache in tip top shape and going strong. TFTC
Another good healthy find.
Thanks crane2 and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet!

*Found whilst on family holidays in Renmark*
A nice early start on a pleasant spring day in the Riverland. Out and about with Happy pants and Happy Feet. A great morning out with many laughs had and memories made. Without Geocaching as my guide I would never have found so many interesting places on my travels.
A nice straight forward find here.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment crane2. Appreciate your efforts.

In Renmark for a family holiday for the week and having the opportunity to grab a few finds with Snap Happy and Happy pants. Headed into Berri this morning to make a few finds before meeting up with the rest of the family. We discovered some good hides and had no DNF's. As always, there was plenty of laughs and fun had, along the way.
The hint made this one an easy find, especially with no muggles about today.
I am currently writing detailed logs because of a challenge provided by Project-GC. "The Author" Badge challenges geocachers to average one hundred words or more in each log. As of the start of 2018 my average was only 47 words per log, which seems a long way from the 100 target. Given that I have found so many GC caches, I have to write many logs with well over 100 words for a long period of time to get my average to the target. Apologies to anyone who finds the logs tedious but it is the only way that I can strive to attain this challenge. After over 7000 plus caches (which includes all cache finds up and including yesterday), the average log length is just over 50 words. I am now entertaining the possibility that I might be able to achieve my task before the end of next year. It's surprising how much is has increase since doing this.
Thanks crane2 for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

With no market on this morning we had the area to ourselves to search and we soon had the hide in our hot little hand. Thanks again crane2 for the hide and for showing us around town.
Stayed at Berri for 2 nights.
Caching around abit before moving on to east.

Wrong day for the market which was both good and bad. Good in that there were no muggles to contend with, but bad in that we needed to stock up on our fruit and vegies. Guess we'll have to visit the supermarket.
Too easy, especially with the very generous clue.
Thanks.

Headed towards Berri for an evening event celebrating Moneydork turning 15, so took this opportunity to find any Wandering Heroes caches and a bunch of others along the way.
The day started with hail, then rain, some sunshine, icy cold winds, more rain, clear skies and finally a chilly night.
Headed out after the event, on foot, to grab this and a few other caches in the area

"Oh gourd !!", I thought to meself when I arrived.
I seem to have a knack of turning up at venues like this when they are full of muggles
Saturday morning in Berri,
and the farmer's market was in full swing
Lucky for me the cache was hiding just far 'nuff away from the action
So a quick cache find while the nearby supply of veggies was running out !!

found with sir_spectre on a short holiday with kayak caches been targeted and the murray river national park been the camp site number ( 36 ). After doing all the kayak caches and hiking to the others over on the island, we took a drive to this one.
found with jacknor coming up from Katarapko National park on route to berri to grab a few more caches. Waiting for darkness to fall for a night cache.
Found while camping with my family for a few days. Quick find while nobody was around. TFTC
We found this cache today at 10:10am as number 7 of 8 on our Unsuccessful Attempt to find a Magnetic Key Holder For Sale in Berri but Not an Entirely Wasted Effort as we Located a few Newly Placed Berri Caches Trip. A quick drive in with no-one parked nearby to disturb. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
After completing the Victorian Country Road Atlas Challenge it was time to head home to SA. Grabbed a few caches along the way. TFTC.
As I'm now 3 months behind in my logging I am desperately trying to catch up and am mass logging to do so.
I'd arrived in Berri at about 1.30am or so this morning [)] after having ridden my VFR800 from Shepparton
Had an awesome ride with only 1 kangaroo spotted although masses of bugs splattered against my visor and bike and even me
Lying in bed about 10am when I had a SMS from Moneydork informing me that there was some new caches in the Riverland that had just been published[?] [?] I didn't know about them as I hadn't had a chance to set notifications because this trip was so last minute!
I managed to drag myself out of bed and get the bike gear on, loaded the GPSr and then hit the road.... well, the VFR hit the road while I sat on her!
On a very hot day, I did about 250kms chasing 6 FTFs out of 8 new caches (didn't go to 1 as I knew Labchick was and got 2nd on another behind a trio of Adelaide cachers) and had a blast [^]
Some good open roads to clear the bike out [:X] and some scary as all hell dirt roads with about 208kg of road bike on road tyres slipping, sliding and chattering across corrugations all at the same time Can't say caching in the Riverland is boring
Saw some cool sights and enjoyed a fun day out [^]
Then it was back to Mrs and Mr Moneydork's for tea and after it cooled down a tad, we went out caching [^]
After 6 FTFs and a 2nd place find this morning, I now found 4 caches this evening
