It was great to catch up with many of the old faces again for our last Christmas event before we move on interstate once more next great

Didn’t get there until the last hour so had to be told how exciting the tug of war was this year with all its nerdy goodness, no doubt. Still got to hug a few necks and catch up with those I’ve not seen in a while (some a longer while than others). Brought a muggle with me so he could see geocachers aren’t normally as weird as me and his take was: geocachers are just normal people like any other groups (so you guys made a good impression haha). My gosh, TTrogg thanks for the fudge!! Thanks Team Scoobsters for putting this together and thanks to those who pitched in to lend a hand making it all go off well. Missed many who had other obligations but I’ll see you on the trail or at an event sometime in the future. Merry Christmas!
Oops extremely late log for this one!
Another great event. Only realised we had not logged it when I was checking out something else tonight
TFTE yet again Team Scoobster

A wonderful event, it was nice to see the Southerners won the Tug O' War.
The Review Panel was unable to detect any evidence of cheating when the drone video was checked.
The Northerners should begin training now for 2018.

Dennis from muff1 attended this event... Brisal5 was his driver for the day and cache companion and Jax arrived via Skippy taxi to meet up with Dennis and go onto Jackie and Dennis care duties.
This event would have meant a lot to both muff1 team members as it was a time when people could come and show Dennis how much he and Jackie were cared about within our community. Am logging on behalf of Dennis until the wild one is well enough to take over again. Thanks Scoobsters for this event.

Not able to attend now; need to save the little bit of petrol left in my car for Ratbag 1’s graduation and for job interviews this week. Have fun all of you
Dropped by to say hello and wish every one a merry Xmas.

What a fantastic event again. Popped in and do my thing. Thanks for the enjoyment Scoobsters and Tardis Trio.
Great turnout ..... outstanding event!!!!! Thanks Team Scoobster for organising things!!!
I thought Santa got away with it a bit too easy this year with only kids sitting up on his lap.
It was noted that he pulled for the North side in the tug-of-war, which was appropriate as he hails from the North Pole. South had a win and were thankful Santa didn’t bring his reindeer.
I had a wonderful time and particularly enjoyed all three flavours of fudge.

Had to leave a bit early due to Feetlet getting the no-nap grumps. So we missed Santa (still terrifying according to Feetlet so not a problem this year). Did the activity trail though, had a play on the playground and caught up with a few people, thankyou for another lovely Christmas event. New location was a winner.
Thank you for welcoming us to our first event. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed meeting fellow geocachers and sharing stories. See You Next Time!!!!

I arrived past the halfway mark of the event and unfortunately Father Christmas had already moved on back, to the Northpole, the south had already won the tug of war and therefore never needed my considerable muscle power and most revellers had already moved on to dryer and sunnier locations.
Still there were plenty of cachers left to have a chat with and there were plenty of chocolate fudges left as well. Vanilla seemed to be the favourite but I thought the peppermint shaded it.
Thanks Scoobsters for another great xmas event and an early 'Merry Christmas' to everybody!

Thanks again for a fabulous festive event. Was lovely to see old (and very old) geo friends together with new cachers, youngest cacher, fast growing cachers and even a new geo-pup. Had to make a lightening visit as the husband was keen to go Christmas shopping (that never happens). Wishing everyone a fantastic and safe Xmas and 2018 and thanks to the scoobsters and tardis trio for holding the event
Thanks Team Scoobster for organising this event. I am very happy that the Southerners won the tug of war as they should We are finally pulling our weight.
Initially I wasn't expecting to be able to make this event, as I had some emergency repairs that needed taking care of around the house, but luckily my Dad and I finished earlier than expected, and since he needed to be in the eastern suburbs at around 3 pm, that meant a ride was on offer. Made it with about 40 mins to go before event end, after which quite a few had already left unfortunately.
I did however manage to catch up with a few die hard cachers who were sticking around, and amazingly I wasn't even the last attendee to rock up! Special thanks to Anymules for the ride back into the city after we last stragglers finally left, and TFTE Team Scoobster, yet another successful Christmas event!

Nice that the weather was in a much better range than the last two years.
Good to get out and about, catch up with friends and meet some new faces.
Thanks for the event Team Scoobster, Tardis Trio and all others who helped make this THE event to go to.
Merry Christmas to all.

Freddo and Sallymander joined the merry xxxmas event for pre-ashes festivities. Great to see a huge group of people. Lots of new and well seasoned cachers.
North Pole Santa and his many elves were no match for the South Pole penguins. This year the load cell reported a peak load of 800kg during the tug of war. That is the sort of tug that will get Locus out of her next bog.
Bloody Nanos! Spawn of satan. Burn down the Nano factory, and exterminate anyone who sells Nanos.

Remember, everytime you hide a nanocache God kills a kitten.

We had a great time chatting with the 'family'. Events are always great fun. Thanks for the pathtag and thanks for the fudge! It was yummy...must get the recipe! Funny how cold it was this year. Some kids found a very large termite mound in among the bushes. We can remember a couple of years ago when misting fans had to be hired at the last minute to keep everyone cool! We won a prize for a crazy poem. Thanks Tardis Trio for organising the geo-game that we all enjoyed playing! Thanks Scoobies large and small!
Due to the storm damage the road to big desert ( victoria ) was closed and that meant i could attend this event. I tried the cupcakes - good and received a P/T from the co, thanks. I also helped the south win the tug of war ( like last year ) and had a good time like always.
Another great Christmas Event with some sunshine and a little sprinkle of rain, but not enough to dampen the Christmas spirit. [^]
Was pleased the south won the tug of war again, no thanks to me as I stood and took photos.
Great catching up with lots of friends, thanks again Scoobsters and Tardis Trio.

Another great Christmas event...lots of cachers attended...lovely cupcakes & fudge...swapped pathtags & got my Christmas one, thanks...cool games...I helped the Southern Cachers win the tug-o-war...though this year seemed harder than the previous 2 years...
Thanks Team Scoobster & The Tardis Trio for your efforts it is much appreciated

Another amazing Christmas event was held. The weather and location provided great fun for all who attended
Mrs bee ate fudge lots of fudge
Mr Bee manned the perimeter with GeoPup Chester who is still learning about geocaching
The tug-o-war was won by the South, however Mrs Bee thinks it was rigged
Thanks for the nice christmas pathtag was a lovely surprise
Great to see many cachers at the event and meet the newest little geocacher to the community.

Yet another great Christmas event hosted by the Scoobs, pity the weather was not a little warmer and the threat of rain may have put a few off. A couple of fine drops fell but not enough to dampen the festive spirit. A few nibbles later and off to fill the challenge. 3 caches, a simple question but a harder challenge to write a poem. Fortunately Mr B pulled it off winning the prize. Good to see fellow cacher's and catch up with a few. Once again thanks TS for organizing the event.
Almost all set to go, the reindeer are fed, santa is polishing his boots, Mr scoobster has the venue decked out, Mr Tardis has his puzzle adventure game printed, the Tug of War rope is being stretched, the Pathtags are packed, the weather is trying to be kind, the lolly bags are filled (albeit many became samples), drinks are being chilled .... and Mrs scoobster, once again is on crutches!! - looks like its shaping up to be a typical xmas event!!
p.s. Santas helpers wonder if anyone has a spare gazebo to bring along to help santa keep dry and sun safe in the land down under.. it would be much appreciated

providing we can leave the riverland early enuf, we will swing past for a flying visit
I suppose I should come along and find out if I'm on the Naughty or Nice list. Is it possible to be on both?
Just one lil old kiwi.
Just one lil old kiwi.
looks like i double booked. I will be at the Big Billy Get Together event in the desert so i wont be able to make it.
Will do my best to try and get there but am working that morning and don't finish till 10:30am so will see if I can get out of work early and come for a drive.
I hope to see you all there but if not have a great day.

Surely it should be listed as more than a Difficulty 1 - for some of us it's hard to celebrate Christmas Bah Humbug!
The Adders have it penciled in, 2 at this stage. And the north did not cheat last year, we never cheat.
Superman_22 and I will try and get there but that’s if I remember is more likely.
633km from home! Hmmm, how on earth am I going to get to that park by 6.30am from here?
Thinking I may not get time off of work at Christmas to get home so this weekend just may have to be my alternative option.
Going to try pretty damned hard to get to this one!
Thinking we also need a lot more northerners to attend this year too....

Owl will be on the high seas nearly 3,000km away. Which is the only thing that would keep her from this event!
I have locked it in the Diary and we are hoping to go but if the weather is too hot then we may not attend.
