Was expecting this one to be easy but we are either blind or it wasn't there
11:46 AM Spent 10 minutes looking but nothing jumped out at me.

Geocaching day in Hobsonville Point. Nice quick find here along my stroll. All good at GZ. TFTC
Todays mission 10 cache finds to get the next hidden creature. A bit rainy today, and already too wet at some locations. Nice to see this new walkway. Finally a quick find and only find on Hobsonville Point today and I think about 10 DNF's. Not going to make our 10 to complete today sadly. SL. TFTC.
A nice little area here. Hint bang on so a quick find. Nice cache container fav for container. Log signed b&p. Find number 4352.
Thanks for the cache G-2.
Thanks for the cache G-2.
Nice and easy find whilst retracing our steps from the runway challenge a little while ago! SL TFTC
Second find of the afternoon with PhilBirdBoys, found a lot quicker than the last! Interesting log location! Tftc.
Visiting the area while in Auckland for the weekend. So much development around since our daily visits when our boys did their morning rowing training here some years ago.
Another nicely disguised hide TFTC.

It was hilarious watching Bertie retrieve this one! thanks for getting us out on a wonderful winters stroll and giving us a laugh with it
Haha! I was a little distracted chatting to Pazza as I picked up this cache, and it made me jump for a second there, when I first glanced down at it. Another favourite
Managed to make one more find today and this was it. Nice and straightforward here and made the most of the quiet path to not have to take too long. TFTC
A nice quick find although we did take a moment to make sure it was the cache we were extracting and not something else. Thanks G-2.
Construction still abounds in this area, but it was quiet enough for me to zip over and make the find. TFTC.
I took a drive out to Hobsonville this afternoon and found a few caches while I was out that way. A nice easy find here, TFTC!
This looked like a great place to take the ageing geo hound for a wander and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Geo hound met lots of friends and I fearlessly picked up an arachnid. TFTC!!
Quick find on my ride before work. Had my spidey senses tingling to find this one.
Out and about for a spot of cache detection this afternoon. A warm sunny day for it. A nice walk around the track with pleasant views to appreciate. Managed to execute a super quick find once at GZ. Cheers for the cache placement!
Found it! Fun and easy, log needs attention though. Did this cache with no map or direction due to my service provider being patchy, so feeling pretty proud thanks for the cache, on to the next one!
There were still quite a few people out walking the track here when I came to pick up this cache for our daily find this evening. Loitered nearby reading the signage until a break in traffic allowed me to quickly make the find. Thanks
Two of Spidy's huge friends where adorning the houses opposite GZ:- guess they were out for halloween celebrations yesterday. This little spider, looking slightly the worse for wear - his body was split in two, had retreated back under cover. Have repositioned the banding to put him back together. TFTC
This was our next stop along the way and aptly enough Ryan got covered in cobwebs while retrieving the cache. Thanks
A nice quick find. Cheers
Wow there is a lot of building work going on around here. New buildings are similar to what has been built around the the old Wigram airbase! Thanks to the CO's for the hides.

Having a little outing on our bikes, fair few muggles around, had to time things right.

#192 despite knowing what it actually was, didn't make it any easier to go near and sign! The kids loved it though, TFTC!
I met Mrs Jag50 and Aiden29 for lunch nearby and then came down here to pick up the 2 new caches. A straightforward find here
Met up with Merlot58 and Jag50 for lunch nearby and to find the new caches in the area. A nice easy find here along the new walkway and some great artwork too.
After meeting up for lunch with Merlot58 and Aiden29, we collected this new cache. This place has changed since the last time we were here. Quick find before heading on down the walkway. TFTC.
Had been dragged out for dinner when I saw these pop up last night. So headed back over this way today. Two new caches plus a couple of others I was keen to find. Funny camo, nice hide, TFTC
After what turned into a wee cachers gathering at The Old Rifle Range, we came up here. Siaousi made the find and I am sure there was a little arachnophobia there but quickly we had the crafty cache in hand. TFTC G-2
Was cool to meet Spidy today thanks Glyn !
Think I made the acquaintance of his cuzzy up North recently !!!!!
Good to have more caches in this vast development here ....
I was thinking a few months ago of putting a cache near the interesting old concrete building near here ...Too Little Too Late !
Always nice to catch up unexpectedly with other local cachers !
Shame we had to stop caching and head off to family commitments ....
Oh well , at least we didn't get soaked with all the rain and hail this afternoon ! ...just have to clean my good shoes now , as forgot to change into gumboots !
Thanks for the fun Glyn !

Wasn't checking emails but was out at the supermarket and saw some new caches on the map! And no logs! So off I went, hoping to get some more FTF to our name. As I arrived I made a quick find and took it back to car to log where I was pretty certain I saw gorby drive past, then I saw his name on this log and new I had missed out on both! Oh well STF here and the other cache up the road can fill in a dot day or help continue our streak later in the week. Thank you
When this cache and Glyn's other one 'The Old Rifle Range' both came out tonight at the same time around 6:15pm ish, I just sat in the warm lounge carrying on with a puzzle that was annoying me somewhat. I knew that it was a Saturday night, nobody would be working at least, kiwicouple, Aiden29, alunB or NZWashers all live much closer to these caches than I do and since there was 2 caches up for grabs I assumed one of them if not more would have pounced on these! But come 7:45pm, no news is good news! Good news for me that is... so armed with necessary caching paraphernalia, I decided to take a short hike up into the dark zone, watchlist's initiated and tackle whatever comes up.
Once near GZ, it was dark and about to rain again, never mind... get wet I say. This is September's {FTF} up for grabs, who cares about a little rain.. so wandered over to GZ and with the hint made an excellent discovery of a no-longer-aerobic arachnid! This species has long gone John and no need to aerate my arteries with arachnophobia! I have seen this species before in another realm, probably by the arachnid master himself. So signed myself in with great urgency so I could dispense myself to another cache of great concern to me. Thanks G for the cache, time to say nitey-nitey to the spidey, without getting a bitey.
