My 1st day of my trip heading to and around the Eyre Peninsular. Today was from Home to Applia. I left late so only a few finds today. This cache would be find number 1 of 8 for the day and find Number 1 in total for this trip away.
After leaving later than planned today so I skipped a heap of caches I had planned but this seemed as good as any place to start finding. Quickly located and signed then back on the road.

Out and about visiting parents closeby, so decided to do some caching while in the area.
I first look at another likely spot, having not read the description, find noting obvious, looking about I spy perhaps a better hiding location, and what do you know there is a cache just waiting to be signed.
Reading the description once I was home could have shortened my search slightly, so note to self read the description.

Woke up to a chilly morning - hoping it’s going to warm up though. Another day exploring Port Pirie and surrounds with iluvtrekking. Thanks Freddo
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.
On my way to Whyalla for a few days and I stopped here for a lunch break and would you believe there was a cache here. [^]
Didn't spot it on my first circuit but after taking off my sunnies there it was. Stamped the log and replaced, then ate my lunch and even watched a train go past while I was there.
Thanks for the cache Freddo.

Found on on our way back home after a trip to Marree, William Creek and across to Coober Pedy. Thanks for the cache Freddo!
Catching up on some late logs, now that I have time, while travelling.
We are on the road travelling up through central Australia and down the coast of WA. I hope to grab a few caches along the way.
An easy enough find having a reason to stop.
Thanks for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoyed finding it

Unfortunately the container appears to be missing, also had a good search in the wider area, checked hints and previous logs for clues, even cleared away all the spider webs
Sorry Freddo, we don’t have a suitable replacement for this one. No luck for us today. Searched for 10 minutes and then searched a little more. Thanks for bringing us here regardless.
Over visiting family for the long weekend and took the opportunity while they were engaged to do a few caches in the area. Planned to hit the Highway passed Crystal Brook, into Georgetown and back to Crystal Brook. Was an awesome day a variety of hides, some easily found, many took longer than should have. Only a couple of misses.
A nice quick find then back on our way to the next one. TFTC

earthlight wanted a drive to Kadina for some geocaching and to place an adv lab there[^] and I sure wasn't saying no
We had a big day starting about 9am I dropped earthlight back at her home about midnight[|)][xx(][|)]
Believe it or not though, we never got to Kadina Port Wakefield got an adv lab instead[^]
On our way home, we had AMAZING fish and chips for tea in Port Pirie at the 'Church of Fish and Chips' run by Spirou Seafood and Salad[:X][^][:X][:X][^][:X] Delicious![:X][^][:X] You know the old 'Port Wakefield for a hamburger' drive[?] I think it's just become a 'Port Pirie for fish and chips drive'[^][^]
Once earthlight was home, Rex and I went to spend another hour or two at Hunting Ryan[?][^]
My total was 34 cache finds and only 2 DNFs so I was happy[^]
Some awesome sights seen[^], great back roads travelled (some more slippery than others especially after rain showers passed overhead) and Rex had a ball running some roads and chasing vermin out of cemeteries[^]
We saw lots of 'old schools or sites'[^], entered tiny townships and learned lots of history[^]
It was great to be out in the country and finding caches with good company[^] and as always, geocaches showed us things we never would have seen otherwise[^][:X][^]
Thank you to all of the CO's who gave us a reason to be out and about[^][:X][^]

Happened to stop at this rest stop just up the road on the opposite side from the one we stopped at last time we passed through here in July, by coincidence. Just a beautiful location. Thought i'd check for caches before leaving and fond this quick find only meters away from the car.
Found with @Hakentek. Photos are spoilers.

Found on a short run to mix some gearbox additives in the Paj, magic day, Thanks ,
Got stuck into the new year today with Mr Froghoppin,
a nice drive and cache hunt on a cool rainy day!
May have come under-dressed for this cache.
Sometimes just sitting around looking for mint tins is a drag.
Whatever turns you on though still gets a smiley

I’m lucky enough to travel for work and today finds me in South Australia.
After landing, my workmate and I made our way to Whyalla with obviously a few stops on the way. Needless to say my mate learnt about geocaching.
Quick park and leg stretch here
Many thanks to Freddo the Fast Goods for placing and maintaining Lookout for Trainsexuals. I found it, I signed it, and put it back as found.

Following our farewell Quorn after the JLWE with LiB...
We are heading home and collecting a few smileys along the way...
I think they might have just put down some fertiliser in the nearby paddocks...
Thank goodness for a quick find & stamp of the logbook here so we can be on our way again...

Finished work at 1pm and then we got our selves packed up and off on the road to Quorn for the June Long Weekend. We were going for a few of the events but not for the game itself. We thought it would be a great trip to make for the long weekend with lots going on.
We didn't find very many caches on the way there as we wanted to get to the campsite before the sunset to get our tent up and have a sundowner beer. Then to the pub in time for the When Freddo met Sally event.
The road North was pretty busy heading to Port Augusta wonder why they still haven't made this dual carriageway the entire way.....
We only had time for 6 finds but every one counts and made for an enjoyable drive.
We had a chuckle at this one. No trainsexuals spotted here today and a nice quick find sign and replace. TFTC Freddo the Fast Goods.

Day 1
Adelaide to port Augusta.
This trip saw me travel to Maralinga to do the tour of the nuclear test site then up the Googs track, past lake Gairdner on to Mount Ive station, then in to the Gawler Rangers and finally hiking up Mount Remarkable before heading home.

Mr Tardis was heading on a long drive west, and made a planned rest break here, and also a cache break.

Another short break on a long drive. No trains and no sex unless that was happening in the little Ford Focus parked a short distance away. I wasn't intrigued enough to find out. Felt for and found cache along with a trillion spider webs.

It was more a case of lookout for backpackers in station wagons here today. Boy, they had completely emptied their vehicle and had things spread out everywhere. Maybe they were drying them, who knows??
At first we thought we wouldn't be able to get this one but then we realised that the GPS was actually taking us across the rest area away from them to another similar structure where the campervan provided great cover and the cache container was quickly located.
Thanks.

Well maybe the table is here only so that one can place a container under it so that other persons of unknown peculiarities can stop and wonder.
Not me, I'm a traveler of known qualities, dubious yes but known.

What was that, I think it was a road train.

A quick find in the obvious location.
I didn't see any trains, neither goods nor passenger. That's probably why I didn't see any trainspotters nearby. The bloke in the frock further along the parking bay seemed interested in other things.
Thanks Freddo.

Was heading to a nearby work location and it was time for a break from driving so decided to stop at this stop and make the find. Parked close to GZ and started looking. Took longer than it should to locate the cache but locate it I did. Extracted log signed and replaced. Time now to continue the journey.
